It’s ironic that you libs are always trying to pin the facist label on us Republicans. It is only libs that get up in arms when others have a different opinion than theirs. Schools are liberal enough as is. Can’t both sides be represented and actually let the kids decide for themselves. Brainwashing can only be done when one side is represented. This great country is all about choice.

And by the way. Stop all the dramatic whining about right wing conspiracies. It makes you sound like a dramatic teen girl. Give it a rest.

Well, i find it funny that the democrats won the election, and whoever posted otherwise was wrong. sure the last post here was over 3 months ago, but i’m bored and have nothing to do today. I have no problem with people wanting to express their radical right wing propaganda, though i would encourage everyone to oppose it, BUT NOT at the taxpayers expense.(if it’s a private catholic school, well then the parents are paying for the propaganda themselves) If i had a kid that went to this school, which my tax dollars go to, i’d tell my child to do anything in thier power to protest this show (non violent). I find it funny all you liberals are upset that a group of rock bands are trying to give the youth of this country another option. I see this lot in our society. Liberals upset that some other group is giving our youth a different avenue to walk down. They are only expressing there freedom of speech and freedom of expressing there ideas. This is much worse than it sounds. I saw them live and Bradlee Dean has extremely radical views that should not be forced upon High School students. As a matter of fact, they shouldn’t be forced upon anyone. If you see or hear Bradlee Dean speak, you’ll understand what I mean.

I remember someone on DU a good while back posted about these guys and than I saw a segment on Keith Olbermann’s show about them and boy is the song and them awful! And I as a liberal Christian, and well just a Christian in general, would never promote brainwashing propoganda. Even in the Bible in the book of Proverbs you’re encouraged to do FREE THINKING. And it is wrong that they’re being paid to do this with tax paying money. I don’t think my dad would like knowing he’s paying for talentless guys to “sing” propoganda. I agree with you that high schools should be able to invite a band like Junkyard to perform before their student bodies. However, the line is crossed when “federal taxpayer funds” are used to compensate the band. A second line is crossed when the assemblies are made “mandatory” for students to attend. Hopefully you can see the problem with those two conditions.
