3 hours, man that is a lot of evidence to show the Grand Jury.

  2. Anti Warhol says:

    It’s a Fitzmas Miracle!

  3. Carol says:

Fitzmas is a-coming and the goose is getting fat!

  4. Average TV Viewer says:

Show me the salami in this game called hide the salami.

  5. Joe Sixpack says:

Yeah, things look gloomy for us conservatives. It seems that not all of the stench still coming out from under the door of the Oval Office had been left behind by Scooter Libby after all.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Karl Rove, poor guy, has been regulated to sneaking in and out of the back door at the White House now.

  6. True Blue says:

wouldn’t you have just LOVED to be picked for this Grand Jury?

  7. True Blue says:

    …BEEN picked.
    sorry

  8. Liberals Hate America says:

Wait, let me get this straight. Fitzgerald spends two years of taxpayers money and brings forth no evidence that a covert agent has been outed. Now, he intends to spend more money with a new grand jury to investigate the same thing again. Wasn’t this the sort of thing that the media harrassed Starr with? I don’t get the double standard unless the media is biased, but you all tell me that the media is fair and not biased so shouldn’t they be outraged over this?

  9. Gray for Congress says:

    He’s gonna investigate Woodward.

In case you haven’t been paying attention- the differences are:

The cost: Starr’s $60 MILLION to Fitzgerald’s $750 THOUSAND. Or, to put it into perspective: $10M /year for Starr and $700K /yr for Fitz.

Result: (At least) One indictment within the scope of the original investigation (the charge is that Libby is misleading investigators trying to get to the bottom of the leak) versus an indictment of Clinton for lying to Congress about an affair unrelated to Whitewater.

Okay…now think carefully (I’m sure it’s a strain)….what, so far, is a more egregious waste of money?

“Liberals hate America” – can you think of anything more original than that?

  11. Average TV Viewer says:

    Liberals Hate America,
Nice try. Who appointed Fitz? Starr?

  12. Jesus Christ God of WAR says:

Rover had better be kissing his 300# boyfriend goodbye. And Rover had better be out selecting the wallpaper for his new digs; the jail cell.

I think Woodward is in trouble too. While he did a good job during Nixon’s era, he lost sight of what he was good at when the Bushies asked him to crawl into bed with them.

  13. Average TV Viewer says:

    Liberals Hate America,
And by the way. Why hasn’t the White House defended all these liars and obstructionists that Fitz is finding?

  14. freepatriot says:

when a witness perjurs himself and lies to the investigators, and activly obstructs the investigation, ther might be a slight delay in the findings

anybody who wants to know the difference between Star and Fitzgerald should consider that 2 counts of perjury are more than Star could find. Two counts of lying to an FBI Investigator is more than Star could charge. And Obstruction of justic is more than Star could charge

any single conviction would be more than Star achieved

and any subsequent charges (like Karl Rove, for instance) would be more proof of a crime than Star could offer

what is the difference between Star and Fitzgerald ? Outing a CIA Agent is a crime, consentual sex isn’t a crime

  15. progressive and proud says:

You neocons weren’t worried about the money Starr was spending on DNA tests, wiretaps, etc… If you give it you sometimes have to get it too. This is about national security and not a bj. Sorry, I know you guys only care when sex is involved.

  16. progressive and proud says:

Another difference – Fitz is nice to look at. Star – ewwwwww. Now if Rove got a little republicans would swarm. But we know that will NEVER happen. Well, other than Gannon.

  17. Jesus Christ God of WAR says:

    Bill had Monica.

    George had Gannon.

Which President would you rather have?

Anyways, Fitzgerald is about real crime. Starr? Nothing to uncover but a blow job.

  18. SpudgeBoy says:

    Liberals Hate America,

I am sorry to tell you that the fat lady hasn’t sung yet. The reason that the outting a covert operative indictment hasn’t happened yet is BECAUSE SCOOTER LIBBY LIED TO THE GRAND JURY AND OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE.

It ain’t over ’til it’s over.

See you at the end of the race.

  19. hotfroggy+ says:

still chillin’ my bottle of bubbly for roves big date! it’s looking better all the time! this group of crooks is beyond anything i ever thought possible in our country. everywhere you look there is more and more disregard for the american people….. but now we are close to slamming the door on the neocons little plan to TAKE OVER THE WORLD, just like pinky and the brain!

  20. WORFEUS says:

Let’s give Fitz the 60 Million and tell em to “hang em high”

    FITZ is da MAN.

    He’s BATMAN!

  21. Busted says:

#8: Comparing Fitzgerald to Starr is ridiculous. Turning back time, you’ll recall how Starr always looked as if he was truly enjoying the limelight created by the Clinton/Lewinsky “investigation.” Starr the “star.” Fitzgerald does none of that. Clinton/Lewinsky had nothing whatsoever to do with national security. It was only done to pave the way for Republicans to claim they were going to “clean up” the White House and bring “respectability” back to the presidency. Well, I think we can now see how that turned out. And it isn’t pretty. Fitzgerald’s investigation is a matter of national security, and the breach of that security by a bunch of bullies who, in their zeal to discredit someone who dared to speak out against this administration, cared not one bit about America or our national security.

  22. WORFEUS says:

What Ken Starr did was throw out a “wide net” to see what he could catch. He delved into unbelievably personal and non-pertinent areas to try and humiliate the President.

He had no real goal, no real evidence of any “crime”, just a perverse desire to explore the intimate details of a man who is 1000 times his superior,(s) private sex life.

These things are no ones business, and I could’nt care if Clinton got a 1000 bj’s from Monica while swinging on the Oval Office’s chandaler! I mean, who cares??

The repubs “strain at a gnat and swallow a camel”. They are more concerned with someones personal sexual life than worrying about a President so stupid he doesn’t know it’s in bad taste, not to mention irresponsible, to take month long vactions during a war where Americans are dying daily.

Lincoln worked 16 hour days in the White House during the Civil War. Bill Clinton worked similar days during Bosnia, and he worked for 72 hours straight trying to get a peace accord in Israel!

And I might add, they both WON their wars.
