The Department of Injustice.

“The Justice Department has barred staff attorneys from offering recommendations in major Voting Rights Act cases, marking a significant change in the procedures meant to insulate such decisions from politics.”

George Bush doesn’t care about black people.

  2. HOT! TIP! says:

George Bush doesn’t care about poor people. has nothing to do with color of skin. It has Everything to do with Money.
    aqnd God.
Bush Worships Money, therefore he worships Manna.
Bush also worships God, or does he?
You CANNOT Serve TWO Masters Georgie.
    tyranny and Propaganda.

  3. pigboy says:

Shrub only cares about his agenda or should I say the PNAC agenda of his underlings. Instead of bringing democracy to Iraq shrub wants to bring Iraq to us.

  4. kiss me kate says:

    George Bush doesn’t care.

  5. HOT! TIP! says:

    You got it pigboy.

  6. unbelievable says:

How is this part of Georgie’s plan to instill Democracy in the world? He does know that doesn’t haveto give ours away to do that, doesn’t he?

  7. HOT! TIP! says:

Georgie’s plan is to use Democracy to gain access to the Oil fields over there.
the spread of Democracy is spreading Demoncracy.

  8. HOT! TIP! says:

God never gave anyone Demoncracy, it was taken when the tree of knowledge was abused!

  9. HOT! TIP! says:

God gave Life, God said to eat from the tree of life.
That never happened. Adam nor Eve ate from the tree of Life.

  10. hardass says:

How can an attorneygeneral of minority extraction ,a new one at that, acquiesce to that quind of crap is hard to understand . I guess there is no limit to prostitution :
GONSALES ,LIBERMAN ,ALITO , HO an ex-member of the justice dpt. now taching at Berkeley .May be it is not prostitution , may be they not believe in the Constitution .
In either case their position is questionable at best.

  11. Marie says:

Bush is outsourcing our democracy to Iraq.

  12. sfkare says:

this is very bad news and one of those rocks that, when overturned, will lead to political enforcement at justice. If a republican is elected in 2008, this country can kiss the professional civil service goodbye. It will be replaced entirely with hacks if it’s not already.

  13. HOT! TIP! says:

What constitutes the belief in a Constitution when its backfiring on you?
Maybe this is what they are looking at.
    ever thought of that?
anything that is not working with you is against you. so, just maybe they believe the constitution is working against them, just a thought.

  14. Granite State Destroyer says:

We must promote decmocracy over there wo we can destroy it over here.

    -George W. Bush

This nation seriously may not make it through the next three years with its democractic institutions intact.

    Mission Accomplished Dickheads.

  15. unbelievable says:

    #11 Marie,

Sadly, I have to agree. “Acquisition almost complete”, not “Mission accomplished” should’ve been their banner message in 2003.

  16. unbelievable says:

    #14 I stand corrected.

  17. HOT! TIP! says:

GSD, Did Bush actually say that??
    So, whats His plan?
promote democracy over there OR destroy it over here?.

Or Worse, BOTH? Imagine, Demoncracy overthere, and destroyed over here. they are free, we are not. that would be ugly.

  18. unbelievable says:

#17 We’re already not free. Not in the way the Founding Fathers had intentioned. Try it for yourself… Don’t pay your taxes, host a protest on the White House lawn, or try pitching a tent overnight on public land.

  19. Average TV Viewer says:

    Anyone here have knowledge of

    -Douglas J. Hagmann
    -Stephen Quale
    -Prophesy News Watch
    ?

Just curious. An acquaintance emailed me their links and I’m kinda creeped out. Are these guys popular?

  20. Granite State Destroyer says:

    #17.

No if you ever read my occasional posts, I will make up some outlandish quotes…though rooted in fact.

    #19.

I have never heard of these folks, I am going to assume they are some sort of fundamentalist fanatics?

They don’t get play in any mainstream press that I have ever seen, I follow politics pretty closely. I will Google these goons. But rest assured there are millions of kooks out there and every kook manages to retain some sort of following. The Heavens Gate shitheel was able to get some of his people to lop off their weiners for God sake.

Look at the Bush Cult and what they have done.

    -GSD

  21. Granite State Destroyer says:

Just checked the Prophecy News Watch. Typical boilerplate fundamentalist philosphy.

Try looking up Church Universal and Triumphant, they are another apocalyptic sect of Christianity.

There are far too many folks that are now in power that do have this mindset though…and with Jesus W. Bush at the helm…God only knows.

    -GSD

  22. wwallace says:

In other words, some lefty lawyers in the department didn’t like the decision to require all voters to show ID, so they went and told anonymous stories to the liberal press. The Democrats survive on vote fraud. This is not news.

  23. im4mary says:

#14 – GSD – I wholeheartedly agree. And 2006 doesn’t look all that promising if the democratic party can’t find a decent (if any!) platform to stand on! Riding on the corruption wave of the republican party guarantees nothing!

  24. wwallace says:

There is no corruption wave in the Republican party, though there may very well be in the Democratic party.

  25. unbelievable says:

It is too late for the blue states to secede from the union???

(For those of you neo-cons wandering around in here, thatis what you call satire. You guys should have some shows of your own on Comedy Central. Nah, they probably wouldn’t be funny since most of you think it’s humorous to make fun of handicapped people and AIDS patients.)

  26. HOT! TIP! says:

    wwallace , self denial?
    aaa?
faultless?( I AM Perfect , therefore, I AM?)
Only God is Perfect wwallace .
I think you lost it .

There is no corruption wave in the Republican party
    POSTED BY wwallace .
Please make a note of that.

  28. HOT! TIP! says:

Think Progress, #27 was meant for you.

  29. Nick says:

This is a big freakin’ deal! A good way to gear up for the 2006 elections indeed.

  30. Ryan Neat says:

wwallace prefers republican voter fraud – the only reliable method of electing republicans – because he’s a proven terrorist :()

  31. Marie says:

I shudder to think of wher we will be as a nation three years from now — our only chance to retain the America we love is to defeat every Republican up for reelection in 2006 and weaken Bush in that way until we can impeach him or, in the worst case scenario, survive until 2008.

  32. --Aj says:

#OH MY GOD!!!!! The FIRST war in history in which innocent men, women and children were killed and injured!!!!! (P.S. 60 years ago, no one was happy to have innocents killed and maimed in Dresden, Hiroshima or Nagasaki – IT’S called WAR!)

    Comment by mighty aphrodite — December 10, 2005 @ 2:11 pm
