Sen. Bill Frist’s chief of staff,

By Site Admin on Dec 14th, 2005 at 12:11 pm

Sen. Bill Frist’s chief of staff,

Eric Ueland, “berated” and “bullied” AP reporter Jonathan Katz for asking whether it was true that Bill Frist had “no idea” how much HCA stock he owned before he sold it. Bill Frist claimed this weekend that he had “no earthly idea” how much HCA stock he owned for the last 10-11 years. An extensive paper trail contradicts his story.

Well, I would say that Eric Ueland needs a Hawaiian Punch.

Just what is an “earthly” idea anyway.
Frist just makes ya wanna spit.

    Keith H.

At least he didn’t say “I have no Heavenly idea.”

  6. Dr. William H. Frist (R-HCA) says:

    “No earthly idea.”

Ya see, that information came thru on one a them internet thingys. This technology uses electrons and gigabits – they are evil and they can’t be seen. The infected hearts I used to throw in the trash were of this earth.

    E-mail is not.

  7. Hitler was a Liberal says:

Thank you for destroying Frist. He would be a horrible GOP candidate for President in 2008. Conservatives can use Frist to detonate the nuclear option in case Democrats hatefully filibuster Alito and then dump him. But, we could not have done it without the left – THANKS!

Seems like Frist is doing a fine job destroying
    himself at the moment.
I see he is still going for the incompetence excuse,
i.e., “I had no idea even though I got statement after
    statement….”
I’m thinking we could use a new rule WRT incompetence
    excuses:
    1) You can use it once, but have to resign your post
    for being incompetent.
    2) You have to change your middle name to “incompetent”
as sort of a “scarlet letter” flag to help people remember
that you have admitted being incompetent.
Seems like Kenny Boy falls in this category too.

    “Thank you for destroying Frist.”

    No problem.

“He would be a horrible GOP candidate for President in 2008.”

    No arguement there.

“Conservatives can use Frist to detonate the nuclear option in case Democrats hatefully filibuster Alito and then dump him.”

No hate involved, just a good old fashion fillibuster to keep the Christmas candidate off the SCOTUS. It is part of of our GLobal War on Christmas.

“But, we could not have done it without the left – THANKS!”

    You’re welcome.

    “Comment by Hitler was a Liberal — December 14, 2005 @ 1:19 pm”

Hitler was conservative. He was so far to the right, you would have to look left to see him.

  10. Keith H. says:

    Spudge, that’s true.
After he’s kicked out of the Senate, he’ll be looking for a job on the 700 club.

  11. Zookeeper says:

#7 – Hitler was a Liberal? You’re joking, right? Geez, look it up, jackass.

Is it just me, or does the whole right wing seem to have a nazi fetish? Just a thought.

    #7 – you’re welcome. But wait, that’s not all!

  16. True Believer says:

I have to disagree- I would have LOVED to have Frist as the Rethug candidate for Prez in ‘08; that way we could have fielded someone with guts, like Kucinich, and not have to worry about the idiots in Kansas – even they wouldn’t be stupid enough to vote for Frist.

Frist Chief of Staff Eric Ueland Pops a Vein at Associated Press Reporter Jonathan Katz Question

I meant to post about this earlier than this but, host TypePad threw up, and all systems were not GO for a day-or-so. I first heard something about this from one of the Air America Radio shows yesterday, or maybe it was the day before … I
