Weren’t the right wingers just preaching about how great the economy is?

I bet we don’t see any trolls in this thread.

#5 You notice how silent they’ve been the past couple of days… IRI has been posting in some of the older threads, so I know he’s active… just not here.

Remember Khrushchev’s “We will bury you” line. Communism is burying us – under a mountain of debt.

The communist wouldn’t have the ability to crush us if Bush and friends hadn’t borrowed so much damn money from Communist China. All they have to do is call up those loans and the US is screwed.

  8. mental patient says:

I don’t think they are worried. Neocon fantasies of world domination make China the chief manufacturing sector of their new world economy. That is why America and its allies must control natural resources, thus China et al.

  9. Zookeeper says:

#4 – Thanks again. Such a bold statement! See previous thread.

Time fer ‘nother roun’ of tax cuts fer my buddies — Dubya

  11. Marie says:

But the economy is booming, the conservatives say. Everything is rosy, they say.
This won’t come back to bite us.
    We must be imagining otherwise.
I figure that by 2008, when the Dems get in, we will be in such deep trouble, but the Repugnicans will blame the Dem in power for the mess and his/her inablility to clear it up immediately.
Because, after all, the economy is marvelous under Bush!!
The deficit means nothing! Tax cuts are wonderful!

  12. Evil Spaniard says:

    From Yahoo News (AP)

Critics say the soaring deficit is evidence that President Bush’s policy of pursuing free trade deals around the world is not working.

To counter the attacks, the administration has stepped up pressure on Europe and Japan to boost economic growth as a way of increasing demand for U.S. exports. It is also pressuring China on a number of trade issues, from textile imports to the country’s currency, which American manufacturers say is being manipulated to give Chinese producers unfair trade advantages.

In human words: “Save? Nah. Espend less? No mind. Be more productive? Too cumbersome. Is far better to screw our allies for more credit”

Chickenshi* trolls will never show their true skin. Conservative? I think this disproves any of the right wing lies about being conservative.
