“The presiding judge of a secret court that oversees government surveillance in espionage and terrorism cases is arranging a classified briefing for her fellow judges to address their concerns about the legality of President Bush’s domestic spying program.”
I’m hopeing there are a fair bunch of judges and they find this dreadful Bush guilty….
December 22nd, 2005 at 12:46 amThe stench had finally reached to a level that true Democracians can no longer—will not longer—tolerate further lies and duplicities that this Bush administration have committed. But first, some anecdotes before I start:
“The price good people pay for their indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.â€
Plato
“People can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. All you have to do is tell them they’re being attacked and denounce the pacifists for a lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.â€
Herman Goering
I believe that we should be talking more that impeachment of George W. Bush, which isn’t strong enough to send a message to those who have exploited September 11 and brought ruin to this country. From the fabrication of the Iraq war to the illegal spying of Americans it is appropriate for Americans to examine which officials of the United States should be tried for high crimes and no misdemeanors. And the sooner the better.
December 22nd, 2005 at 12:47 amI hope they are tough-skinned and fair-minded. They will need both. This country needs their help.
December 22nd, 2005 at 1:04 am…there is no way to secure a FISA warrant when the goal is to listen in on a vast array of communications…
Yeah we know. So they’re just spying on everyone all the time. Kind of like they promised us they would never do? Thought so.

December 22nd, 2005 at 7:17 amSo they get to keep doing this crappola with the Senate’s blessing?
And you know 6 months from now no one will care anymore and it’ll become permanent. Scum. They’re all scum.
-Sorry. Waking up this am to that news has put me in a really bad mood.
I hope the rest of them have integrity like Judge Robertson.
