On the other hand, I have a website blog http://www.pressthenews.com, which I would like to think is objective and well researched, but I agree with parker on the blog thing, to a certain extent.

There is no such thing as “liaissez faire,”: when it comes to truth. thus, the internt, despite all of the excellent blogs out there, really belongs to the groups that shout the loudest, and mainpulate facts the best. perahps the readers of these blogs are simply ignoring those, just like the readers of those, ignore these, which, of course, is conterproductive. those alrealdy thinking a certain way just read what is already going to appeal to them.

this is particularly bad whenone considers all of the great sites out there, like, apparentoyh, this one, that simply wil not be looked at by those who need to read and consider the content herein the most.

most all stories come thru the api, that is those whom watch or listen to MSM. If you however read the congress reports and debates transcripts paints a far different picture. It has gotten to the point that spin has negated itself, nullified.

I think perhaps you need to unlearn some things Aphrodite, that are manifestly wrong. You see yourself as an intellectual, correct? Tell us, the Herd O’great Demi God of Zeusdom, what is an Intellectual? How man Books does it take Aphrodite to speak as one dimensionally as yourself? One Book, a Hundred books? A college course of 50 drachmas? A professor whom Speaks much about the past, yet is confused by the present?
those that spend their time hiding from the public, in fear of themselves mostly, are they Intellectual? Movie Stars talk a great deal about things, if one makes a Movie are they Intellectual? I think perhaps you speak of the Size of your checking Account Aphrodite, and not of Human Quality.
Isnt the Roman thing top Improve ones self? Should you not them be a Warrior, to go and fight War, first Hand, like the Senators of Yore?

Correct. there are a Few twists. The Plame case, as mentioned before is quite important to bloggers freedom of speech or type as the case references other cases (not a lawyer)
Another more recent Twist, that this old dog didnt see coming, was from a 2005 threat report From Mueller III. SO the Battle for Bloggers is two sided, as they also act as information sources as well, Public Whistleblowers if you will. So you see How Bloggers coild upset the Neo-Con ‘Reality-Machine’ as well.
