“The state’s highest criminal court on Monday denied Rep. Tom DeLay’s request that the money laundering charges against him be dismissed or sent back to a lower court for an immediate trial,” the AP reports.
It’s always the Democrats fault. Wouldn’t ya think they could come up with something new? The lying, thieving bastards get caught and it’s the damn Democrats. If it wasn’t for those darn Democrats we wouldn’t have any problems just lying, cheating, and stealing.
I agree crc – we really need to do some serious housecleaning. DeLay wouldn’t know ethics if it bit him in the ass; oh yeah, it IS biting him in the ass!
We all know Clinton bought off everyone in the 8 grand juries and all the various courts to bring this about. It can’t possibly be The Hammer’s fault. Just yesterday said he said he’s never ever done anything wrong. I think we should trust him. He’s got such great references like Cunnigham and Abramoff.
I was watching Hardball last night. Chris Matthews had a bunch of political commentators on from a bunch of different publication. When on of the commentators brought up the fact that the Abramoff scandal started from an administrator blowing the whistle, Chris Matthews said ‘Kind of makes you not trust those admins anymore’ or something close to that. I had to scream at the television “If you weren’t doing anything wrong, you wouldn’t have anything to worry about!!!!’
That is how it is?
So, people should hire admins that will cover up for them. THAT is the soultion, not following the law.
Gosh, this is just another facet of the vast conspiracy against the varmint! Those eight grand juries are all co-conspirators with these judges who just have it in for poor Tommy. Shucks.
Ol’ Tom sure does seem to appreciate the services of those fancy “trial lawyers” nowadays……don’t he?

January 9th, 2006 at 2:05 pmWho said the following?
“During my time in Congress, I have always acted in an ethical manner within the rules of our body and the laws of our land.â€
If your answer is Tom DeLay, you (a) have an Orwellian sense of humor; and (b) are correct.
