Keeping score on who gets to be the next Tom DeLay.
(Hair not included.) The Hill newspaper is keeping tabs on the race here. And if their tally is to be believed, your next Majority Leader will be Roy Blunt. The election is set for February 2nd so there’s time yet for Smokin’ John Boehner to gain some ground. (Also, dark horse John Shadegg threw his hat into the ring today.)

On the other hand, as a partisan, keeping tainted Rs in positions of power works just fine for me. As TAM unfolds let Blunt serve the public as a constant reminder.

The public recognizes that a few Democrats and Republicans were involved with Abramoff. People like Ney, Harry Reid, Byron Dorgan, and 2 others or so.
Speaker Hastert has the solutions which will reform the house and show that the GOP is the party of reform.

Nobody can beat out the Republicans for un-ethical behavior.
