“Wal-Mart hosted a $1,000 fundraiser for me?”

Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich said on CNBC yesterday. “That is absolutely incorrect. Wal-Mart has not hosted any fundraisers.” His press secretary explained “Wal-Mart was not the host, just one of many hosts” but was “unable to identify any other sponsors.”

Ya know, I was thinking, a difficult thing for us Herd, but,
If we tool all the Money Spent by big business to lobby for special considerations and deregulations, what would that add up to?

If the corporations can spend this much to curry favor, would it not have been better to spend those billions on cleaning up America? To remove the Corruption instead of adding fuel to the fire of it?

  13. HAIRY THRUST says:

Does lobbying by CEOS, Thin-Tanks, Lobbyists, special interest groups add to the Corrupt Mess in Washington?

    Sure it does. look around.
