What’s wrong with the remaining 9% who don’t have a lowered view of him?

Doesn’t I-RIGHT-I live in his district?

It is because he associates with people who call donor supporters “Christian Wackos”, and I let every church in Sugarland, Texas know it. You guys can thank me. Now let’s get Alito filibustered.

  3. Gus the Loving OBGYN says:

I think it’s important to note that Think Progress has not used the word “Filibuster” since the hearings ended and have only done one post discussing Alito.

  4. Gus the Loving OBGYN says:

DeLay’s spokeswoman Shannon Flaherty challenged the validity of the poll and said the result is “contrary to the strong support we’re seeing for Congressman DeLay throughout the district.”

They lie to the end. With smiles and symbolic hammers.

    Let’s do the math:
    ~Bush spies on people illegally.
~Bush fancies himself more power than the constitution allows.
~A majority of people want Bush impeached if he illegally spied.
~Alito supports a president with more power than the constitution allows.
~And the CAP/Think Progress position is to not say anything about the Alito nomination??

There is something amiss here. It is starting to look like Dems and Progs have their hands in the domestic spying. Is this why Gore is the only one willing to speak out? Because he’s not in office?

Starting to appear that way… The bi-partisan coalition sponsoring Gore is also filled with ‘ex’ politicians.

    The other 9% are relatives!

  11. My Take on it says:

According to recent polls, 56% of this nation says Judge Alito SHOULD be blocked if he’ll overturn Roe. Judge Alito implied Bush could invade Iran without the consent of congress through unlimited presidential powers. The American people will not stand for another unprovoked invasion of a country. The citizens of this great country are starting to pay attention to the corruption in Washington and we are going to hold our elected officials accountable for the way they vote.

Our elected officials represent us. And as such, we expect that they will defend the constitution and protect the citizens of the United States of America with their vote against Judge Alito.

  13. HAIRY THRUST says:

    Since Alito is a Federalist, whom say they Abide by Hamiltons poltical ideology;

Hamilton believed that the president, as the only official elected by the people as a whole, had not only the constitutional but the moral responsibility to act on their behalf — in the interest of the salus populi. Hamilton rejected the claim that republican government required the executive branch’s “servile compliancy” to the legislative. The executive possesses his own constitutionally based power and is not, as some people seem to argue today, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Congress or at least “a kind of independent agency under the ultimate control of Congress.”

In the Interest of the People, Salus populi=The phrase:
    “Salus populi
    supremo lex esto”
is an ancient latin expression meaning:
The safety of the People is the
    highest law.

How so Mr Bush, does attacking Liberals or democrats ensure the Safety of the People?
How so Mr. Bush by removing the Rights of the People is their safety increased?
How So Mr. Bush by empire builidng and making our country dsiliked, by your misleading, increase the Safety of the People?
How so Mr, Bush does an Ownership society increase the Saftey of the people?
How so Mr Bush does laws keeping min wage at poverty level increase the Safety of the People?
How so Mr. Bush do Corrupt politicians, Whoring about, increase the safety of the People?
How so Mr, Bush does government Sponsorship of propaganda, such as Rendon, or other proggies, to incite war increase the Safety of the People?
