Several points to respond to your view:
Point 1. Surely you don’t equate Saddam Hussein’s Iraq of 2003 with Hitler’s Germany of 1941. As we have seen, Iraq’s conventional forces were quickly overwhelmed by our forces within months of the invasion. As we now know, Iraq did not possess any significant quantities of WMDs or the means to deploy them in a way as to threaten the United States. Hitler, however, did have a large, well-trained and well-equipped military that put a serious hurt on our allies in western Europe as well on on the Soviet Union. Germany could not be contained but Iraq could be contained and was contained.

2. I see that you resorted to changing the subject and blaming Democratic presidents for things that aren’t even remotely related to the Iraq war. Bringing up FDR and Kennedy? Jeebus, they didn’t force Bush to launch a war on Iraq. They’re both as dead as Julius Caesar. I didn’t invoke those two Dem presidents so why do you throw them in my face?

3. Not only did Bush change the focus from the “war on terror” to the war in Iraq, Bush did a piss-poor job executing the war in Iraq- he and his neocon cabal had no friggin’ plan for the aftermath of the initial invasion and appeared to be unaware and/or unconcerned about the potential serious negative consequences of invading Iraq. We can disagree about the rightness of invading Iraq but you can’t honestly believe that the occupation has been executed well.

4. Nice try blaming that good ol’ right-wing whipping boy, the “lib’rul media.” Why don’t you blame Bush, et al. for the problems we face? Oh- I forgot- Republicans don’t make mistakes. LOL.

You forget about the WWII when the Japanese bombed us and we went to war against them and Germany. Now clearly we didn’t need to go and declare war on the Germans what did they do to us. That was a called made by a democrat. Second point is that lets look at the state that Vietnam is presently in. That war was the result of another democrat Kennedy. Last but not least lets not forget about Kosovo and Clinton. Three dems that have gone to war and for what reasons. I am also suprised that you have read about Afghanistan. This being that almost all of the media out there is for the left. Only reports the bad and not the good. So enjoy your news media that presents information only half truth.

I am so glad you feel safer now that Big Daddy Bush has launched an unnecessary war in Iraq. You seem quite capable of all sorts of mental gymnastics to convince yourself of Bush’s divinity and the rightness of the Iraq War in protecting us Americans here at home.

There is really no sense in even discussing this with you, even though within 5 years, Iraq will still be in a state of chaos, we’ll still be fighting the never-ending war on terror, and Bush apologists will still be making the same tenuous arguments to support Bush’s foreign policy and national security disasters.

And, by the way, I have not forgotten about our military operations in Afghanistan. I am reminded quite often about them when I read about the re-emergence of the Taliban and the difficult situation our soldiers face over there, having been largely forgotten by Bush since Iraq is a bigger, better war to use for political purposes.

You forget Redleg, that we are not only fighting in Iraq but also in Afghanistan. We are trying to find Bin Laden and you know that. You cannot say that Iraq did not have the potential to attack us. If this was true we would not be having the resistance we are presently having. You are right it was Al-Quaeda who did attack us, but remember who turned the Sudanese down to have Bin Laden captured and extradite to Saudi Arabia for us to handle with. That would be Mr. Clinton. Fighting over there right now is protecting our freedom and our way of life. If we were not there trying to eradicate the terrorist then they would be over here trying to do the same to us. I know your post came before the new tape release of Bin Laden but he promises to do more destruction. I feel safer knowing that we are taking care of business over there than here and having a potential another 9-11 on our hands.

No offense to the soldiers, for they are fighting where their fearless leader sends them- but how is the Iraq war a fight to protect our “freedom” and “way of life?” When did Iraq attack us? They didn’t even have the capability to attack us. Al Quaeda attacked us on 9-11. Bin Laden, the leader of said group, is still in hiding.

Maybe there will be an accidental black X placed on his head during his show every now and again. So like I said just get use to it. I am sure that you will find some way to get him off the air.

Stop blasting him for supporting our troops. You liberals who do not support our troops do more harm to them than you think. You are acting like Tokyo Rose and the Nazi propeganda during WWII. If you oppose the war fine but just say thank you to a soldier when you see them. They are there trying to help protect your freedom and your way of life.

I love listening to Glenn Beck! Its about time some of the networks in the mainstream media figured out that they needed more of a conservative voice to attract more viewers.
#15 Donahue’s ratings tanked from the get-go. When was the last time a network pulled a show with good ratings to be responsible?

Where CNN used to be a boring piece of crap station that I’d never watch, even in the case of a national event, my family of 4 will be tuning in to watch Glenn Beck!
