The span of time available in which to form murderous intent would have amounted to mere seconds, given the speed at which the event was unfolding and how close the two vehicles had to be to one another before the ill-intentioned would recognize the vehicle of her target. It doesn’t add up.
The only culture of corruption I see is from the left, as they continue to attack and smear decent people.

How about the ‘culture’ legacy that Jack Abramoff fostered when he was buying Republican congressmen?

Actually, Michael has done what he accuses the ‘left’ of: following and not thinking about the issue. When you start saying “ditto”, you actually stop thinking, and you just nod along with the people who can be fooled most of the time.
Don’t just take the word of a radical right-wing prescription drug abuser. Don’t take the word of a web site or two. USE YOUR BRAIN! Think for yourself!
That’s something that the Republican party is trying to suppress: dissent within the ranks. You HAVE to sell your soul and follow the leader when you join the Republican party, or else you’re not “really” a Republican.
The Democratic party is inclusive, even people who don’t agree with them 100%. There are pro-gun Democrats. There are anti-abortion Democrats. There are pro-death-penalty Democrats. If there is a Republican who disagrees with one policy issue, then they are considered ‘moderate’. If there is a Republican who disagrees with more than one policy issue, then they are told they should just shut up and say “ditto” if they want to get elected again.
Too bad the Republican party is exclusive to the point of totalitarianism. I guess Pres. Bush was correct: “It would be easier if this were a dictatorship, and I was in charge”. (Not the exact quote, but close enough.)

And her understanding of the realities of “lobbying” in Washington seems naive at best. Of course groups like The American Cancer Society lobby Congress for more money, and no one of decent heart or intellect would blame them. But they aren’t donating money to Congressmen and asking them to say positive things about them in the Congressional record, are they? They aren’t paying for golf outings to another country for them, are they? (I’m assuming not, but because of what’s publicly known about the K-Street Project, I admit it’s possible that even gropups like ACS might have to play dirty just to be allowed to deal with Republicans. Pay to play.)

Two deploying soldiers and a concerned mother reported Friday afternoon that the U.S. Army appears to be singling out soldiers who have purchased Pinnacle’s Dragon Skin Body Armor for special treatment. The soldiers, who are currently staging for combat operations from a secret location, reported that their commander told them if they were wearing Pinnacle Dragon Skin and were killed their beneficiaries might not receive the death benefits from their $400,000 SGLI life insurance policies. The soldiers were ordered to leave their privately purchased body armor at home or face the possibility of both losing their life insurance benefit and facing disciplinary action.
Now here’s the corruption…
Currently nine U.S. generals stationed in Afghanistan are reportedly wearing Pinnacle Dragon Skin body armor, according to company spokesman Paul Chopra. Chopra, a retired Army chief warrant officer and 20+-year pilot in the famed 160th “Nightstalkers” Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), said his company was merely told the generals wanted to “evaluate” the body armor in a combat environment. Chopra said he did not know the names of the general officers wearing the Dragon Skin.
So they put our friends out there with inferior body armor to keep their cronies making money, while the higher ranking officers get the better body armor as an evaluation study???
So, who is putting our soldier’s lives at risk again?

You’re right. We have too many sheltered women (and men) teaching our future generations boring theory with no basis of reality or experience, when they are supposed to be preparing them for reality and experience.
As a result of her blind faith in any system handed to her, she is the kind of teacher that the students will complain about repeatedly. Yet, she thinks she is a great teacher.

Notice how your observation also applies to religious services where the flock receives instruction and offers no dissent, no debate, no recognition of individuality? The very same people who live by this one-sided religious institution are at the helm of the education system in this country. And these are women who are leaders in every field, politics and business, a lot of business leaders. And one thing I think you’d be interested in is a lot of them are mentoring women in Afghanistan. (except Laura of course)

MRS. BUSH: They’re working with women in Afghanistan, either to start businesses themselves, micro-businesses. Or one, like Pat Mitchell from Public Television, has mentored two women who want to be journalists. They’ve done a show which will be on television later this fall called Afghanistan Unveiled.
