“TIME has seen five photographs of Abramoff and the President that suggest a level of contact between them that Bush’s aides have downplayed. While TIME’s source refused to provide the pictures for publication, they are likely to see the light of day eventually…[A] picture of the President with the admitted felon could become the iconic image of direct presidential involvement in a burgeoning corruption scandal…In one shot that TIME saw, Bush appears with Abramoff, several unidentified people and Raul Garza Sr., a Texan Abramoff represented who was then chairman of the Kickapoo Indians, which owned a casino in southern Texas.”
So, that is two different publications confirming that there are at least 5 pictures of Bush and Abramoff together. Too bad Scotty McClellan can’t destroy all of the pictures outside of the White House.
Let’s see if the White House Press Corp takes Scotty to task on lying to them.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:24 pmCan’t wait to see which of the spineless MSM will publish first.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:27 pmYeah, so?
You can get photographed with someone without really knowing who they are.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:33 pmWhat the hell is it going to take to get these pictures out in the open?
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:34 pmGimme a break Ruppert. Everyone knows Bush is a dirty crook. Its also known that he is close with DeLay who is close with Abramoff. You have to be a complete moron to try and make yourself believe that Bush isn’t involved in all this.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:36 pmIt takes pictures to confirm that the Bush Admin is complicit in the Repub corruption run by Abramoff?
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:36 pmJust publish them already!!!!!
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:40 pmGood try Gary Rupert, but these pictures are of Bush doing stuff with Abramoff. You know, being friendly, hanging out, stuff like that.
These aren’t “celebrity/fan” photos of somebody that doesn’t know the person who he is being photographed with.
Too bad for you Gary Rupert.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:42 pmYeah, so?
You can get photographed with someone without really knowing who they are.
Said Bill to Hillary… (who is Monica????)
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:45 pmSee, this is the problem. Abramoff is spilling his guts to half his sentence to 9-10 years. Word is they talked about their twin daughters, etc. Of course, he doesn’t know a Pioneer at all. Sure, sure. Wonder if he slept in the Lincoln bedroom? Hmmm?
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:48 pmYou can hang out and be friendly with a person you don’t know.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:50 pmHey, Gary, even another narrow-mined, rightwinger like me knows that NO ONE gets close to the President unless they allow it.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but at this very moment I’m looking at a pic of that weasel-faced, skimpy-haired little gnome Abramoff scurrying around in Bush’s shadow——-ooops—-sorry. That’s Karl Rove.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:52 pmAllow is not the same as Know.
The fact is that the left wants to make Bush guilty for just associating with Jack Abramoff, because the President is a great Conservative leader and the media wants to smear him, like they tried to smear him with the fake TANG Memos.
January 22nd, 2006 at 1:58 pmGosh, you are a tool, gary.
January 22nd, 2006 at 2:02 pm#13 “because the President is a great Conservative leader ” this is the most laughable thing I have ever heard. Bush could not think his way out of a contest with a 1 year old.
He has absolutely no brains or thought process, but what someone gives him. He is the WORST president, and he will be prosecuted. There are more people protesting his illegal war and his eavesdropping program than any other time. Not to mention the many law suits being filed due to breaking the Constitution.
You really should get out of the basement once in a while. If it makes you feel better, you can bring your blankie with you for support.
January 22nd, 2006 at 2:04 pmIS IT TRUE THAT A FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIAL CAN BE CONVICTED OF BRIBERY AND STILL DRAW HIS OR HER PENSION ?
January 22nd, 2006 at 2:05 pmIt is OK. Gary, Bush is God. Nothing he ever does is wrong. Everything that Clinton did was suspect. Everything that Bush did was with the purest of intentions. The nation is in great shape. The economy booms. The people are united. The world loves us. We have paid careful attention to North Korea and Iran for the past five years. Halliburton deserves every penny they earned. Dick Cheney and Bush sohould be able to convene sceret meetings with Ken Lay and Enron to formulate an energy policy. There is nothing wrong with domestic spying as long as they don’t spy on me and you. Tom Delay is a victim. Ronnie Earle is the criminal. Bill Frist is innicent. Terry Schiavo can see. Pat Robertson is right to call for the assassination of Hugo Chavez. We are right to boycott communist Cuba and trade with cmmunist China. The folks in New Orleans who couldn;t escape deserved to die for being welfare leeches. The Congress is spending too much money because of the Democrats. The housing market is red hot. Americans are saving more money now than ever. Gas prices are low. All is well. Don’t question the leaders. Power doesn’t corrupt and all power does not corrupt absolutely. Michael Moore should be hung for treason and Sean Hannity and Michael Savage should be put on Mount Rushmore.
Congrats, you have won.

January 22nd, 2006 at 2:06 pmYeah Right Gary, the Conservatives are following their Conservative leader.
Ya know Gary, when you SAY Fact, I just skip over the Rest of the Words, because its always not a ‘fact’
US business urges no unilateral Iran sanctions
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A leading U.S. business group urged lawmakers on Friday to resist the temptation to impose unilateral sanctions on Iran as tensions over that country’s nuclear research program continue to rise.
“Time and time again we have seen that unilateral economic sanctions by the United States do not work,” said Bill Reinsch, president of the National Foreign Trade Council, in a statement. “Unilateral measures — including some bills pending in the U.S. Congress — would harm relations with our allies without achieving the results we all desire.”
The United States and the European Union want the International Atomic Energy Agency early next month to refer Iran to the U.N. Security Council for possible sanctions that all U.N. members would be expected to apply.

Comment by Gary Ruppert
Which five you talking about, Gary?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but you must be comparing junior to Presidents Grover Cleveland, Millard Filmore, Martin Van Buren, and Warren Harding. But even their IQ’s were above a 91.
You must mean he will be the president with the greatest deficts in history and the one who’s narrow, single-minded policies has brought the last, great super-power to its knees.

That is so true! Except when you are the POTUS. And this POTUS in particular. They screen people for his speaking engagements. The proverbial excrement is about to interface with the air convection device in a very messy way and the Goopers know this. This is why they have been so shrill and whiney of late. Also, their little bullshit games are becoming more transparent. When people like Russert, Matthews and Schieffer start to sound like Gary Ruppert to your average American independent voter, you know the GOP is drowning and their ain’t no rats left on the ship to throw them a life line.
January 22nd, 2006 at 2:25 pmThe ONLY way Bush could ever reclaim ANY credibility would be to Fire the Whole AEI State Department and Cheney co, and to start LEADING the people instead of playing this Partisan game of propaganda, cronyisms, and outright lies. And most of all remove himself from office for his crimes of incompetence.

January 22nd, 2006 at 2:35 pmTime to put the heat on LOTT…=)
Sen. Trent Lott decided to seek a fourth term from Mississippi after two post-Christmas telephone calls from President Bush pleading with him to run.
Vice President Dick Cheney also made a late appeal for Lott to reverse his earlier decision to retire. The irony is that the president and his administration gave Lott no support when he was forced to step down as majority leader three years ago on charges of racism.

January 22nd, 2006 at 2:47 pmI don’t hang out with anybody I don’t know. Why, because my friends have manners and introduce me to everybody.
Scott McClellan said Bush does not know who Jack Abramoff is. If you don’t know somebody who comes to your office 200 times and has been in at least 5 photos with you, then you are a retarded dumb fvck who shouldn’t ever end up being president.

Comment by Gary Ruppert — January 22, 2006 @ 2:08 pm
Why wait until then, when we have people who can assess Pres Bush’s performance as a president already?
Here are a few opinions from a number of people who actually know what they are talking about, ranging from economic to military matters.
Bush’s invasion of Iraq [is] “the greatest strategic disaster in United States history.”
–Lt. Gen. William Odom, director of the National Security Agency during President Reagan’s second term, and a scholar with a distinguished career in military intelligence.
The Greatest Strategic Disaster in U.S. History
“I think this is the worst government the US has ever had in its more than 200 years of history. It has engaged in extradordinarily irresponsible policies not only in foreign policy and economics but also in social and environmental policy”
–George A. Akerlof, American Nobel Prize laureate for Economics
US Nobel Laureate Slams Bush Gov’t as “Worst†in American History
“Bush arguably has committed the greatest strategic blunder in modern memory. To put it bluntly, he attacked the wrong target.”
(Emphasis added)
–James Webb Jr., Vietnam veteran, first Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs during the Reagan Administration, and former Secretary of the Navy.
Veterans Face Conundrum: Kerry or Bush?
“For misleading the American people, and launching the most foolish war since Emperor Augustus in 9 B.C sent his legions into Germany and lost them, Bush deserves to be impeached”
(Emphasis added)
–Martin van Creveld, a professor of military history at the Hebrew University, and only non-American author on the U.S. Army’s required reading list for officers.
Costly Withdrawal Is the Price To Be Paid for a Foolish War
“Of 415 historians who expressed a view of President Bush’s administration to this point as a success or failure, 338 classified it as a failure and 77 as a success.”
-Robert S. McElvaine, history professor and author.
Historians vs. George W. Bush
Their assessment looks very dismal to me, and a very, very far cry from being one of the “five greatest presidents”.
Although if your post was intended to be sarcastic, it did achieve its purpose.
January 22nd, 2006 at 3:11 pmIt’s quite evident that the White House once again is racing to cover up their wrong doings. Abramoff did attend photo ops with GW can be read at http://www.time.com. As for Ruppert, read and weep and when no one is looking you can take off your blindfold and stop living in a cave.
January 22nd, 2006 at 3:38 pmhmmm, I don’t think a person can be “unknown” (”the President doesn’t know Jack Abramoff”) when he’s been invited to the president’s personal, private residence in Crawford, Texas. Not just anyone can walk through the door.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:05 pmThe fact is that the left wants to make Bush guilty for just associating with Jack Abramoff
Comment by Gary Ruppert — January 22, 2006 @ 1:58 pm
You still haven’t understood what the point is: Pres Bush claims not to recall “ever having met” Jack Abramoff. A picture will help refresh his memory.
You can get photographed with someone without really knowing who they are.
Comment by Gary Ruppert — January 22, 2006 @ 1:33 pm
Besides the fact that Abramoff was able, in 1997, to get then-Texas Gov. Bush to write a letter expressing support for the Mariana Islands school choice proposal, and that Abramoff
was a Bush “Pioneer” twice for raising over $100,00 for both the 2000 and 2004 election campaings for the Bush team, and that Abramoff and his wife both contributed to the Bush recount fund, Abramoff was in the 2001 transition team for the new Bush administration:
With Norquist’s help, Abramoff secured a spot on the transition team for the Interior Department after George W. Bush was elected president in 2000.
The Fast Rise and Steep Fall of Jack Abramoff
Abramoff, the GOP loyalist who White House spokesman Scott McClellan claims Bush doesn’t know, was a key player in Bush’s transition team after the disputed 2000 Presidential election. Abramoff, working on Interior Department transition issues, attended a number of meetings with Bush during the transition.
Mounting evidence proves White House lied about relationship with corrupt lobbyist
Again, the ties between Abramoff and the Bush administration run deep. A picture will help refresh Pres Bush’s memory. Not to mention the claim that Pres Bush does not recall “ever having met” Abramoff sounds more and more hollow.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:10 pm“History will show George W. Bush to be one of the five greatest Presidents in American History”
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:20 pmAaarrgghh…as I was saying:
“History will show George W. Bush to be one of the five greatest Presidents in American History. Comment by Gary Ruppert — January 22, 2006″:
Only if BushCo finds a way to expunge 38 presidents from all references in history and wash them from our memories.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:23 pmOh, wait…
If GWB grew a tail and sprouted horns and fangs, Gary Ruppert would still worship him. He is a goner. No point in even replying to him.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:32 pmThe pictures will remain “CLASSIFIED”
Concidered “TOP SECRET” and
Ordered sealed due to “NATIONAL SECRITY“.
Bush will assume this power, because OUR REPRESENTATIVES ARE TOO AFRAID TO HOLD THE PRESIDENT IN CHECK. The courts are being stacked in Bush’s favor so as to license his unilaterl authority.
It’s a sad, sad time in American history, and yes, Bush will be remembered for his tenure. Such groundbreaking work. How American, to tear at the fabric of our Constituion and Bill of Rights. Yes, Bush will be remembered.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:39 pmWhy aren’t these pictures being published? I guess Karl hasn’t figured out the spin yet so he can’t give the go-ahead to release them…they must be pretty good pictures.
January 22nd, 2006 at 4:51 pmActually,, after reading the Time piece it makes more sense than I thought. The White House is delaying release of these photos so the Gary Ruppert talking point can take hold:
Now it’s very easy to poo-poo their relationship even if/when other casual photos pop up. Good cover for how deeply they were/are connected. Karl Rove may be an a-hole, but he is not stupid.
January 22nd, 2006 at 5:02 pmuh – i don’t think the rove white house has much to say about when these photos will be seen…the photos seem to belong to someone else – hopefully a TRUE patriot?
“…If the White House can’t find the photos, prosecutors already know where to look. The Washingtonian has seen five photos of the President with Abramoff or his family…” http://www.washingtonian.com/capital_comment/2006/PowerPlayers/02.html

January 22nd, 2006 at 5:23 pmGary Puke Ruppert:
In case you did not know, Bush has been chosen as one of the three worst presidents ever by a bunch of presidential scholars, both democrat and republican.
Google it stupid.
January 22nd, 2006 at 5:25 pmspeaking of ROVER;
By John Whitesides, Political Correspondent
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – White House political adviser Karl Rove on Friday said Democratic critics of the Iraq war were wrong and Republicans should highlight the issue in November’s congressional elections.
Most polls show majorities of Americans have lost confidence in President George W. Bush’s handling of the war. But Rove, still under the threat of indictment in a CIA-leak probe, said Republicans should emphasize Bush’s record on security, the economy and the courts during the November campaign.
______________________
So By record on ‘Security’, that ROVER is gonna TRY to talk about is what? Able Danger?
That Osama is Still Free?
That wages have fallen?
The emminent domain is a good thing?
That the War is going well?
That Taxes are backloaded?
The Lives lost for a economic Ideocentric political fiasco?
That billions and billions have been lost IN IRAQ further aiding the insurgents?
The the WAR, will cost Trillions, instead of FREE like Wolfowitz said?
That Delay and Abramoff being involved in Russian oil deals is securing America?
That Abramoff helping to arm militia groups is Security?
That removing peoples rights makes them safer?
its more likely that no one has anything to worry about from Rover, hes radioactive as Abramoff.
January 22nd, 2006 at 5:41 pmTurn on your sarcasm buttons every one, this old woman has a comment. By the way your posts are all great. First off don’t think we are getting Gary the Brits true meaning about Bush and the Felons. Think Gary means he doesn’t think Bush knows Jack-O** in the biblical sence…He maybe right but bet he knows Jack just the same. LOL…The best president of what.? Not this country. The best president of a stupid club maybe.?/ ….Blessings
January 22nd, 2006 at 6:10 pmBush to help GE buy Westinghouse
“The US President voiced support for a bid by General Electric, the giant US conglomerate, in a conversation he had with the Prime Minister in recent days. America’s Commerce Secretary, Carlos Gutierrez, has also written to Alan Johnson, the Trade and Industry Secretary, backing GE’s bid.
The efforts by Mr Bush and Mr Gutierrez reflect mounting concern on Capitol Hill about the ownership of Westinghouse, which designs and builds nuclear reactors. It has been British owned since 1999; despite this, several members of the administration do not now want it to be sold to a foreign bidder.”
http://news.independent.co.uk/business/news/article340117.ece
Perhaps that’s why Bush gets favorable coverage from NBC and MSNBC.
January 22nd, 2006 at 6:55 pmMSM- a wholly owned subsidiary of the criminal corporate Bushite cabal…
January 22nd, 2006 at 8:06 pmI can only assume that these photos present a clear, present and immediate danger to the national security of the United States for two major US news outlets and their “sources” to be refusing to provide/publish them.
what is this the fucking pentagon papers??
what the hell is happening to this country and its media, anyway?
January 22nd, 2006 at 8:30 pmCongress has to grow a set, to be crude but also succinct.
Otherwise, the Bush team WILL classify them. We, the American people, will never know the truth. I still have a wierd feeling that Bush will NOT be leaving office in Jan. ‘09.
The man is pure evil. How do I know?
January 22nd, 2006 at 8:38 pm“I looked in to his soul…” (sarcasm)
Jack-o** white house… great posts… i’m learning so much…
January 22nd, 2006 at 10:09 pmI personally beleive that George W. Bush is the AntiChrist. All the signs are there.
January 22nd, 2006 at 11:06 pmGeorge W. Bush’s name is equivalent to 666 in the Hebrew numbers when added up. Hebrew is the language of the Bible. His lucky number is 6. His name is equal to 6 in the Pythagorean system. His name is equivilant to 6 in computer code. His affiliation Conservative Republican is equal to 666 in Hebrew nubers when added up.
January 22nd, 2006 at 11:10 pmThe day Bush declared his candidacy was on June 12, 1999. June is the 6th month of the year. 12=6+6. Henceforth,
January 22nd, 2006 at 11:16 pm6(6+6)/1999. 1999 turned upside down contains another 666.
George W. Bush is also a master of lies and deseit. He is arrogant. He warps everything to mold to the fabricated reality that exists around him. He is incapable of healing or alleaviating pain. He is only capable of evil and suffering, and he benefits from that evil and suffering he causes daily. Bush is bethrowed to Big Money(Mammon) which Jesus preaches against in the Bible. Bush is immune to other people’s pain. He practises beasteality and other immoral activity. The fear he spreads through the media turns our country inside out and divides the American people similar to the way Joseph Stalin used fear to create famine, chaos, death, and destruction in the Ukraine. George W. Bush(Son of Satan) is incapable of good.
January 22nd, 2006 at 11:25 pmMatthew, while I do not believe in the bible, I do agree with your thoughts of Bush being evil. I also believe many of the radical right think he is the second coming, doing their will to push for the armagedon…..Blessings

January 23rd, 2006 at 8:31 amyou continue to make the debate about character comically assuming that the Democrats hold the high ground on morals.
Monday Sen McCain stated what is obvious to most people of good will. That anyone who says Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction is a liar. But the freaks on the left continue to repeat the lie. As a result I and much of America can with certainly conclude your motives while you have to assume the negative motive of the President. Most decent people dont behave like you wing nuts, we give the benifit of the doubt. We presume a person innocent.
Along those lines a comment about human behavior. Often people transfer onto others and dispise in others that which they in fact dispise in themselves. The thief trusts no one because they assume everyone else is a thief.
What have the Dems actually done for the poor? Or Blacks? Or the environment truly nothing they talk a good talk but do s**t.
Show me were blacks are elected in White democratic controlled districts. Show me were the dems have all given up their SUVs with the “Save the Earth” bumper stickers on them and begun taking mass transit. Show me a Democrat controlled district were poverty has been eliminated. You want to blame the President for everything.
January 23rd, 2006 at 8:50 amHold yourself and your local officials responsible. But you dont. Its always pass the buck with you. Someone else in DC should care for the poor or minorities or the environment. Talk is crap. Hollywood big shots get on TV and guilt you into giving what little you have while they live like kings and you give them a meddal for being so brave. Invite the poor to come live in your house or pay their rent out of your pocket if you think handouts are the answer. Cut your lawn with a push mower if you are concerned about the air quality. Move into the inner city and renovate a building if you are concerned about urban sprawl. The “revolution” has to start with you. But instead you try to get the courts to force it on everyone else. Then you bad mouth christians for trying to “force” their values on you when they simply talk about God. You freaks are the hypocrits but your head is stuck so far up your ass you cant see.

Marie,
Right you are…
Perhaps the best (and maybe the only way to break the criminal corporate media monopoly down is to take the profitability out of it…
…that means boycotting companies that advertise on blatantly right wing stations like the Faux Propaganda network, Clear Channel (Pus Limphog’s carrier), MSNBC, (and with their additions of Beck and Bennet) CNN…

January 24th, 2006 at 9:02 pmwhat is the president afraid of? seems to me by not releasing the photos he becomes a suspect of foul play. it is most likely bush and his close aids were smart enough to accept money for favors indirectly. many democrats are probably guilty of the same thing and therfore unlikely to make any real tough laws against corruption. the fact is real reform is needed with specific guidelines in place. perhaps it will get worse before we the people rise up and change it.
