Well, since our military are ‘human lab rats’ to see if un-armed and under-armed vehicles actually do cause more military deaths, why shouldn’t the average citizen be treated like a lab rat?
Since the current administration is looking out for the power of the corporation over the interests of the citizens, I’m not too surprised. It’s what you get when you let the radical-right neo-cons set priorities: citizen rights, or lab rats for big business?
You know who’s going to win this argument with Pres. Bush, and it aint the American citizens!
Big business rules. Cronyism in all departments of government leads to disregard for the public in favor of profits. Bush and his own disregard for the law, for the working class, for the public in general, and for the Cosntirution has set the pace – we are all going to suffer, even long after he is gone, for his deeds and misdeeds.
What do you expect when it’s the lobbyists for big corporate interests that actually writes the laws, and then the republinazi’s parrot it as if it was their own.
It isn’t just a fight at the polls anymore. It’s a fight for our, our children and grandchildren’s lives and well being.
I can cope & deal with it when they threaten me. But you threaten my kids & future grandkids and you are playing with fire you don’t wanna be playing with!
The EPA discussed the new guidelines, but refused to make copies available? What the f*ck is up with that? I’m with you, kindness, don’t threaten the future well being of our kids and grandkids.
When are the Democrats going to stand up and say enough is enough! This criminal administratoin must be stopped now!
A full Senate Closed Session might bring this matter to the attention of the people who can stop it, now I can only wonder which senator has the cajones to stand up and do this!
Sometimes we “normal” people are in the middle of all that, big papa! I left off the inbred part because, you know, ick. Not that I don’t know anybody like that.
Here we go again. Barbara Boxer & Nelson held a press conference last spring, I believe, on the CHEERS proposed study: Childrens Environmental Exposure Research Study which would have paid lower income Florida families to let their children & infants be exposed to pesticides. I have that on tape from cspan. The CHEERS web site was just so cute & inviting..if anyone has that in their archives, put it out…it has to be seen to be believed. Boxer & Nelson put pressure to kill that…by the way, the study was wanted by a pesticide manufacturer, surprise, surprise. That these kinds of disgusting agendas should even be thought up, let alone done with the full cooperation of the FDA should outrage all of us & should be published far & wide.
How can the EPA declare this when it violates federal law? Another example of the Bush Admin just ignoring laws passed by Congress?
Anyone a lawyer who can explain this?

January 24th, 2006 at 2:42 pm7- Even if they do live in “flyover country,” and vote GOP, nobody deserves to be poisoned. Especially, not their kids.
10- As if I have to ask, why is it always “lower income… families?” And there’s no class war in America…
