Tell Chris Matthews

to stop comparing liberals to Osama Bin Laden.

58 Responses to “Tell Chris Matthews”

  1. Gary Ruppert says:

If you all stop talking like Bin Laden, you won’t be compared to Bin Laden so much.

  2. TimeForChange says:

Tell Bin Laden to stop using democratic/left wing talking points.

  3. Gary Ruppert says:

Yeah, it only makes your side look bad when the world realizes that the terrorists and the left are on the same side in the War on Terror

  4. california_reality_check says:

Hi Gary, Does your mom know you are on the internet?

  5. Granite State Destroyer says:

Tell Bush to stop using Hitlers and Goerrings talking points.

    -GSD

  6. G. Gordon Giddy says:

The fear of Matthews and MSNBC getting “Freeped” really puts the poop right into your diaper, doesn’t it, Ruppert?

  7. TerrytheTurtle says:

Tell us about the war on terror, Gary, what is it? When will it be over? Who are the US fighting and what do they wnat Gary?

  8. HJKotin says:

It sounds stupid to get so touchy and the comparison was accurate. Bin Laden said that the war is benefiting defense contractors. Guess what? That’s what John Kerry was talking about every time he painfully mentioned Halliburton.

It’s the same thing as when Sam Brownback defends overturning Roe v. Wade with the fact that Plessy V. Ferguson (1896?) was overturned 60 years later by Brown v. Board. While it’s unfortunate and disgusting that the Sen. can use this rhetoric, he’s actually correct.

Plus, Matthews was using the comparison ironically and laughing about it, which is much different than the nonesense that goes on at Fox.

  9. Preznit_Douchebag says:

Ya know, I once heard Usama bin Laden (formerly known as Tim Osman, a CIA asset and member of a family who has long been friends with the Bushes) say that the sky is blue. Being a good old wingnut, I decided to change my perception and now I’ll tell anyone who listens that the sky is infrared.

  10. TerrytheTurtle says:

#8 Yes, but say something often enough, even if not true and the sheep will bleat your tune. Saddam/9-11, Iraq/Alqaeda, Iraq/WMD – need I go on? Look Gary is bleating the tune….

  11. mr ho says:

#1 Gary that was ROVES doing. The only thing BUSH had going for it was the War on Terrorism. Now that OSAMA has reappeared to save BUSHCO, it has backfired once again.
Chris Mathews attacking Americans that have nothing to do with Bin Laden or his creation (REAGAN BUSH SR).
This is just more spin that will also Backfire on Matthews.
Look at it this way. If BUSHCO trys to TELL a TRUTH WE ALREADY know its a LIE because BUSHCO has lied from day one.
Bubble boys crying wolf has caused him to be ignored. Just Like you.

President George W. Bush gave a speech before the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington, D.C., and asked Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia to please try to be more democratic. The president alluded to the fact that the United States has for sixty years supported dictatorships in the Middle East but said that, “in the long run, stability cannot be purchased at the expense of liberty.”

  12. TerrytheTurtle says:

Now either all liberals are traitors to I don’t know what, or OBL is a clever chap and has worked out just how to exploit the massive fault line between fascist and democratic America. He wants the ‘Clash of Civilizations’ and the PNAC fascists want it too. So personally I go with Occam’s Razor – OBL is a clever chap.

  13. Clyde the Ripper says:

We will quit comparing King George the Dumb to Adolf the paper Hanger, maybe.

  14. mr ho says:

You would think the Neo-kooks and you Gary would have figured out by now, to keep your YAPS shut, because when lies come out of your YAPS its easily Disproved. Of course Matthews being a Neo-kook swaddler doesnt base his reasoning (as tests now prove) on Facts, but opinions and emotions.

So matthews is a Gurlie man spewing Opinion as fact.

Pretty Sad day for the Neo-kooks and their Boy Osama Bush

  15. Zookeeper says:

I think Tweety’s fallen off the wagon.

  16. dattexas says:

Actually, Dems think we should be going after Osama. Repugs want to pretend Iraq has something to do with Osama, even though Osama isn’t in Iraq. Sounds like the Repugs are the ones on Osama’s side.

  17. Gerald Gibson says:

Osama is on the GOPs side. They want liberty in America destoyed. HELL! Even lady liberty herself came from those America haters the french!

We must NEVER stop screaming for liberty even if satan himself appears on TV and starts qouting Ben Franklin.

  18. mr ho says:

    mr ho ask
How u like me Now Gary Ruppert?

  19. For Truth says:

    Liberals Liberty

    Democrats Democracy

    Republicans what?

    Conservatives what?

  20. For Truth says:

I have to agree that Osama is getting his way when people become fearful (terrorized) and we have less privacy and freedoms. Isn’t that what the terrorists want?

If we weren’t afraid, maintained our privacy and freedoms, the terrorists would be most upset about it, wouldn’t they?

If a kid ignores the taunts of another kid at school, doesn’t the taunter stop.

Basic behavioral psychology there, it’s called extinction. If a behavior is no longer reinforced, it stops.

  21. dattexas says:

Let’s see. Osama hates American freedoms, and wants to destroy them.

Um, Bush hates American freedoms, and wants to destroy them (i.e., illegal wiretaps, requesting internet searches, outlawing “annoying” blogging…)

So why are the Repugs on Osama’s side?

  22. G. Gordon Giddy says:

Republicans for the Republic for which it used to stand.

Conservatives for the conservation of the status and quid quid pro quo.

    Ho Ho Ho.

  23. mr ho says:

I have to agree that Osama is getting his way when people become fearful (terrorized) and we have less privacy and freedoms. Isn’t that what the terrorists want? -
    –Marie

It is. And thats What Buscho wants as Well.

Yet thats the Very reason Why we must fight for our rights, and to NOT give in to either one of these whackos.

  24. G. Gordon Giddy says:

The US is a constitutional Republic with a democratic form of government. The founders were a little leary of pure democracy themselves. The conservatives would love to do away with it altogether. The Athenians had some bad experiences with democracy and this fact was not lost on the founders.

  25. Chris MattPukes says:

That George Bin Laden. Is that what a Neo-con looks Like?
or is that a Talking head like Me Chris Mattpukes

  26. G. Gordon Giddy says:

I forget which Federalist paper it is and I’m sure it was Madison, but the trick is to find a balance so that the majority does not terrorize the minority or vice versa, the minority terrorize the majority, which is sort of the case we have now, or could be if we keep slouching towards the extremism of the right.

  27. Chris MattPukes says:

    Aye the Plato Republic.
Gordon rememeber what happened after Plato left then returned to find.. Pisastrus.

I guess that could be George Pisastrus

  28. G. Gordon Giddy says:

George played right into OBL’s hand. OBL plays him like a fiddle and one has to wonder if that’s just exactly the way Bush likes it. Without 9/11 and OBL Bush was a complete snooze. He would have been castrated and impeached long ago by his own party for being completely useless. It’s not Bush that made the GOP it’s OBL.

  29. G. Gordon Giddy says:

Don’t quiz me on Plato. I was absent from class that day, shhhh!

  30. G. Gordon Giddy says:

Hi Gary, Does your mom know you are on the internet?

    Comment by california_reality_check

Gary is looking for his mom, he wants his lunch. She spends all day in kinky sex chat rooms looking for people with dobermans and great danes. He just gets lost and winds up over here every so often. Internet surfing befuddles him.

  31. Preznit_Douchebag says:

Who in the heck is this Tim Osman feller, anyway?

  32. TJ says:

It’s obvious that the administration is not conducting a serious attempt to prevent terrorism in this country. Thousands of illegal aliens and tons of illegal drugs have entered the country since 9/11. Since they are not attempting stop that flood, how can anyone believe that they are attempting to prevent terrorists and bombs? The absence of additional terrorist attacks in the years since 2001 is the same as the (near-)absence of attacks in the years previous: the usual vigilance of domestic police and national intelligence.

  33. the fly-man says:

I did not vote for Chris Matthews. I turn the channel. Have you seen Everyday Italian? Aren’t there Daily show reruns on then? That’s within 3 numbers on my remote , I don’t even work up a sweat. Exercise your freedom in the market place, arrow up or arrow down, or come hear and read more about his consistent behaviorand be glad that at least your not watching him right now. He is the olestra of journalism.

  34. the fly-man says:

#12 I don’t think the PNAC group are fascists. They’re domestically, Convenient Federalists. I don’t know what to say about where they’re off to now. I think if their stunts can out last an election cycle before it starts to glow, I think they actually might think something is working. Who will carry water for this agenda. Is the GOP going to have to take it away from him, not pretty. We’ll see.

  35. JIMBO says:

    #31

Gary goes to the same sites, only it’s to look for relations with dobermans and great danes :)

But seriously, I sent my fifth e-mail to Chrissy Matthews today. Anything to put the pressure on the dumb fat fuck.

  36. JIMBO says:

    #34

I agree. Giada DeLaurentis is a much better alternative to
Chrissy Matthews. Boy you sure know how to pick better alternatives. ;)

  37. RightPunch says:

It’s so sad these fear based ‘christians’ don’t realize that their rightwing religious view of government, politics and society are like UBL. Heck, even their tactics are the same – remember abortion clinic and gay bombings anyone?

It’s funny because the rightwing republicans also quote left leaning politicians and figures in the islamic world, just like UBL quotes left leaning politicians in this country. And neither side realizes it, is the sad part. Both realizes that liberals are right, but they only realize it when it comes to the other governments, and not their own.

It’s the fear that makes people not be able to see such a clear and glaring truth. Poor things.

  38. JIMBO says:

    Here’s a wild thought-

Let’s say, come November 2006, the Democrats take back Congress and Chrissy’s brother loses the Lt. Gov race in my state of Pennsylvania. What will Chrissy do? Will he suck up to us then or will he still be sucking on the corporations toes?

  39. BUSH BITES says:

JUST BECAUSE BIN LADEN SAID IT DOESN’T MAKE IT UNTRUE.

BUSH AND CHENEY CRONIES ARE BENEFITTING GREATLY FROM THE WAR IN IRAQ.

MAYBE SOME DAY WE’LL HAVE A TRUE PATRIOT IN THE WHITE HOUSE. BUT NOW WE HAVE A TRAITOR IN THERE.

  40. the fly-man says:

He is the Commander In Morph. The Morphmister, The Morpha Rama….

  41. beep52 says:

This whole Bin Laden = liberals thing is nuts. Fundamentalism is a right wing trait. As usual, a premptive lie obscures reality.

  42. p@ says:

    man… mathews might be right…

    lets see..

bin laden hates americans, i dislike neo-cons… that’s close enough.
bin laden hates big corps, i hate em too.
the problem.. bin laden is a fundamentalist… very much like bush is. i’m not, I’ma liberal.

ok, so, nvmind, mathews is wrong… who’da guessed?!?

  43. TimeForChange says:

Its nice that this thread has started some interesting discussion about the war on terror, and such. But still, nobody as actually addressed the actual content of the post (which seems to be commonplace around here). It is a fact that Bin Laden’s talking points were very similar to the talking points of Michael Moore and the left. Chris Matthews is pointing that out as an interesting fact – which it is. Whats the problem here?

  44. Max-1 says:

    Talk about IRRESPONSIBLE SPEECH

  45. TerrytheTurtle says:

#44 I thought I fired one off on topic (between poking at Gary the Sheep) under #12.

My thesis: OBL thinks that Bush is good for his image and getting his new Caliphate off the ground. OBL has stated that he thinks he can bleed the US economy dry and is happy to sit back and let Iraq happen – the longer the better. OBL has access to enough information about the US political scene that he knows how to push buttons. If he sounds off like the opposition he can undermine the opposition, no matter how sensible the opposition’s policies are. OBL saw how 2002 went – Iraq/WMD/Demos are pussies/dissension is treason. He stepped in before 2004 and played his ‘OBL under the bed role’ perfectly. Remember, OBL is no cave-monkey, his family know the Bushes well and he’s obviously no mug.

I think that’s far more plausible than the other possibility that all liberals are traitors…

  46. Clif says:

#44 except their speech about their extreme religious views and hoe those views should be the prism through what everything is measured, in other words the real drive behind both of them

  47. Marie says:

    #1 Gary Ruppert
Maybe if Bush wouldn’t talk like a liar so often, we wouldn’t compare him to Pinocchio either.

  48. David says:

He is the olestra of journalism.

    Mmmmmm… Anal oil leakage.

  49. David says:

It is a fact that Bin Laden’s talking points were very similar to the talking points of Michael Moore and the left.

It is a fact, that what you posted is a GOP talking point. The attempt at conflating liberals with extremist fundamentalists is weak. The fact that HalliCheneyburton is raking in tons of money via no-bid contracts has apparently not been lost on OBL. That he isn’t the only one is, and should not be, any sort of epiphany. If it is to you, try educating yourself on the subject, rather than just “dittoing” Rush/Hannity/Tweety.

  50. SpudgeBoy says:

If you all stop talking like Bin Laden, you won’t be compared to Bin Laden so much. -Gary Rupert

If you stop parroting right wing talking points, you won’t be called an asshole so much. Asshole!

  51. SpudgeBoy says:

Yeah, it only makes your side look bad when the world realizes that the terrorists and the left are on the same side in the War on Terror – Gary Ruppert

If that side is the removal of Bush as the president of the US, then so be it.

  52. SpudgeBoy says:

Plus, Matthews was using the comparison ironically and laughing about it, which is much different than the nonesense that goes on at Fox.

Neither war nor terrorism are things to laugh about.

  53. Matthew J. Price says:

Gary Ruppert probobly knows just as well as we do that everything George AntiChrist Bush says is a strait-up lie. No normal human being can be that retarded. He probobly just says most of what he does because he is bored, and he sees picking on us Progressive Liberals as being a form of stress releiver.

  54. adamtrask says:

    a letter to chris

A journalist tells the truth. A journalist gets all their information and filters out the untrue and tells their readers/viewers what is true and what they need to know. You are not a journalist. I now place you in the same group as O’reilly, hannity, scarborough, tucker in that you are too into yourself to realize what the hell you are saying or doing. Stop failing to entertain us and inform us of the truth, whether it makes democrats are republicans look good or bad. Stop spinning the news; report it. I wonder what Cronkite thinks while he watches you guys. And you and the other guys have one more thing in common – I don’t watch you anymore. I can’t waste my time getting dumber.

  55. Matthew J. Price says:

That’s it. It is official. George W. Bush is the AntiChrist. It would explain how he can sway so many of our fellow Americans into going against their better judgement.

  56. Mark says:

Well, when Gary Ruppert speaks i gues we all should listen…because whatever he says is usually proven to be so far from the truth that we know his postions are so far out of the mainstream as to almost be in a stream bu themselves completely untouched by the American public and reality.

  57. big papa says:

We must NEVER stop screaming for liberty even if satan himself appears on TV and starts qouting Ben Franklin.

    Comment by Gerald Gibson #17

    Gerald,

Stay tuned to the SOTU address…
