It’s amazing ThinkProgress could compile all the inaccuracies, half-truths, and misrepresenations in such a small document. I thought it would take all of my disk space ;-)
Thank you Judd, Faiz, et al for your great work on the SOTU coverage.
Off topic- the cheif of capitol police appologised to the congressionman for his wifes expulsure and stated both his wife and Cindy shouldn’t have been expelled.
With the NSA domestic spying scandal and Pesident Bush’s 2006 State of the Union Address, the past week has seen another shake-up in the list of Top 10 GOP Sound Bites.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Call it the tale of two different shirts worn by two very different women: a well-known peace activist who has agitated the White House and a lawmaker’s wife who has staunchly supported the U.S.-led war in Iraq.
Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan wore a shirt with the message, “2,245 Dead. How many more?” — a reference to the number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq.
Beverly Young, the wife of 18-term Republican U.S. Rep. Bill Young of Florida, wore a shirt that read, “Support the Troops.”
Both women’s shirts resulted in their owners being ejected from the House chamber before President Bush’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
Sheehan, an invited guest of Democrat Lynn Woolsey, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. ET on charges of unlawful conduct, a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of a year in jail, U.S. Capitol Police said.
“She was asked to cover it up. She did not,” said Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman.
So much for free speech. The Feds say they are in their rights to arrest any protesters.
Bush said the constitution was a “goddamned piece of paper” and he acts accordingly. He made an oath to uphold the Constitution. We know what his word is worth.
Your real-time response to the SOTU speech was a blogosphere classic.
I already took the bits and pieces and put them into one e-mail and sent it to everyone I know (and a few I don’t), as well as pasting it on AOL’s boards at regular intervals.
For those who didn’t make their own digest of the bits and pieces, this fits the bill perfectly. Send it to all…near and far. The neocon lies must stop now.
Gee, where’d you get that idea from? Hmmmmm.
Thanks for the hard work Think Progress.
