I’m more concerned about the violation of the campaign finance laws. Is the US treasury a single donor or does one count the Americans now alive and still unborn for the next four generations as the donor base?

Was this money in the budget or was it off-budget like the Iraq war? Was it borrowed from Red China? Was it a gift from Abramoff? Who were the recepients? 1.6 billion could cure a lot of ills brought about by the idiots in the white house and the republican congress. Inquiring minds want to know how you can squander the assets in the treasury when the country is in such deficit.

I wonder how much they are paying to get the “It’s Wittington’s fault” story out there. I would love to see a detail of the expenditures and see how much goes to the rightwing punditry.

But in all fairness What was the amount spetn by previous administrations? Are the amounts comparable? If so this is a non-issue. Or are the amounts an anomaly, either lower or higher. If this is the case then there is some splainin to do.

Is this the reason why the News Media ISN’T reporting the more important issues relative to corruption, crimes and other misdeeds done by the White House Criminal Organization?

I was in a family who joined Organized Crime for more than 26 years. They are a part of this and I can tell you that there is a lot more going on that isn’t reported.

Hopefully ThinkProgress will mention this bit of news that Fox News is actually reporting: Kenneth Starr (remember, the guy who headed the clinton/monia trial?) has been accused of submitting fake letters to Arnold Schwarzenegger to get Arnold to spare the life of a death row inmate. Starr refused to come on Fox News or talk to any press about it.
