I hate to say this… considering being blackballed by my average american friends and family for being anti-war…….to my friends and family members that told me back in 2003 if I didn’t like it, I should leave America….
Better watch out, another “Terrorist Attack” might be just what he needs to boost his ratings. Not that I believe these criminals manufacture threats, they just conveniently stand aside and wait for them to happen.
i’m really worried about scandal overload…it could be they stop paying attention….
i put a bumper sticker on my car, in this very red town/county – IMPEACH BUSH CO PRETEND IT’S A BLOWJOB!
hoping that gets some of them thinking…
I am not an open source software supporter, but in the case of eVoting open source is the ONLY way I will trust voting software. I write software and I know what can be done. Only software open to the public to be studied before and after an election by people like myself is something I can trust. ONLY software that has been certified and unchanged since certification should be allowed for use. NO changes should be allowed once all sides have agreed the software is clean.
Well, King George has angered the lawyers. Maybe they can find a way to get the Boy King thrown from office and into jail?
The American Bar Association denounced
President Bush’s warrantless domestic surveillance program Monday, accusing him of exceeding his powers under the Constitution…
The ABA has urged Congress to affirm that when it authorized Bush to go to war, it did not intend to endorse warrantless spying.
Forget the GWB numbers, look at the #s of people who think Iran would attack the US and/or Israel with a nuclear weapon or give it to terrorists. I am astounded at those #s. How did it come to pass that so many Americans quiver at the mere mention of nuclear weapons?
Of course, that’s why in marketing the Iraqcle debacle, the administration talked up the nuclear weapons angle (Condi and the tubes/mushroom cloud;Cheney et al).
I guess when you find an effective strategy, you go back to it when needed.
Now, let’s watch the republicans swift boat the American Bar Association as being leftist hacks. You know the same guys who said Samuel Alito was “well qualified.”
Why not, they did that in reverse with the International Atomic Energy Administration. You remember that the IAEA said Iraq had no WMDs, so the righties swift boated them. Now that the IAEA has said Iran wants nuclear weapons, the righties view them as the most knowledgeable source for all things atomic.
Spudge, the administration started out in 2001 omitting the ABA from rating any judicial nominations.
The White House web-site has the letter sent to the ABA by Gonzalez as WH counsel stating they would no longer be informed of judicial nominations prior to sending them to the Senate. They only touted Alito’s rating when it served their purpose.
I noticed that some of the “so called liberal media ” headlines referred to the ABA as a lawyers group . They are not a lawyers group , they are THE lawyers group .
39%: I’m surprised it’s that high. They must be getting rich off the war or Bush’s policies. Unfortunately, there is no opposition. We must sacrifice our rights and liberties for security. How sad for America. Big brother is certainly not helping you, but they are watching you.

the MSM repeats what Bushco says on Headlines then quietly prints the correction or the retraction.
For instance the Stolen ‘PC’ with Nuclear Plans on it was looked at by the IAEA and it was plans for a type of missile but not one to carry nuclear warheads.
The other issue being ‘lite water’ reactors (bushehr) dont create weapons grade plutonium.
Speaking of the ABA: They came out today and said Bush must cease warrantless wiretapping because it is illegal, or he must ask Congress to change the law.
Regarding law — does anyone really think Cheney will suffer legal consequences for his carelessness in the field on Saturday? These guys are above the law – they and the royal heralds proclaimed so – and anyone who has the temerity to stand up to them will pay the consequences.
My friend just informed me that Kerry wrote a letter to Condoleeza Rice about Bush’s “addicted to oil” segment in his speech last week, and pointing out that his budget does nothing to address that concern. There will probably be something in the news about it tomorrow because she’s supposed to testify about it somewhere. There were 4 other senators who signed the letter with him.
How does she know this? She was the one who ran around the senate getting the signatures, and the one who faxed the letter to Rice.
It has been brought to the Vice President’s attention by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department this afternoon that, although he had acquired a 125 dollar Texas non-resident season hunting license, he lacked a 7 dollar stamp for hunting upland game birds. To address any questions about the licensing:
– A member of the Vice President’s staff wrote a check for 140 dollars understanding that this would purchase a Texas non-resident season hunting license that would permit the Vice President to hunt quail in Texas. It appears now that the license itself cost 125 dollars, and an extra 15 dollars covered the cost of a Federal migratory bird stamp. The Vice President did not need the Federal stamp, as he already possessed one.
– The staff asked for all permits needed, but was not informed of the 7 dollar upland game bird stamp requirement.
– Because the requirement is new, the Department has informed us that it is issuing warnings, and the Vice President expects to receive one. He will take whatever steps are needed to comply with applicable rules.
– In the meantime, the Vice President has sent a 7 dollar check to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, which is the cost of an upland game bird stamp.
Another shining example of this Administration’s chronic inability to “connect the dots”, as they are fond of saying. Bush calls Iran a member of his fantasy “Axis of Evil”. Then he invades another member of the club, Iraq, in the face of worldwide protest, and then acts shocked when they decide to protect themselves from a U.S. invasion, which they have every reason to believe will be coming. So Bush and CO. creates the problem, condemns the victims for attempting to save themselves, then makes it all worse by attacking the country they have forced into taking drastic measures, due to previous U.S. actions they have witnessed for themselves The Inmates are running the asylum. Goody for us…..crap…
This has to be a record. This low for this long.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:04 pmThere should be a law that states that if a president reaches below a certain percentage over a certain period then he has to go!
February 13th, 2006 at 6:09 pmStll the 39% has me stumped.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:10 pmOr has Gary R might say, it is just an act of God! or The wind blew it there!

In Bush’s mind the future will be kind to him. His supporters think the same way.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:17 pmSlide, baby, slide.
When people learn the truth of this Madman, he becomes ever more difficult to support.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:19 pmWhat really puzzles me is the 7-10% who actually vacillate between approving and disapproving the worst president ever.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:26 pmHow low can he go?…..in the polls, I mean.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:32 pm39% approve? 39%!?
What in the world is wrong with these people?
I would like to know what their standard for “bad” is. Wait, maybe not.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:32 pmYou realize that this is probably padded in Bush’s favor, too. I personally know no one who approves of this jackass.
February 13th, 2006 at 6:34 pmWait, I want to be Gary this time:
“This poll was rigged, because they only polled democrats.”
Notice: Just like Gary, I haven’t read the article.

February 13th, 2006 at 6:47 pmHas he done too much bad or not enough good? He’s been a good president, even if there is bad, it ain’t all bad.
Maybe he just hasn’t done enough good, then it would like he has been doing too much bad.
Maybe he really a good president, but stricken with too much bad that shadows all of the good.
I call for an inquest. Maybe if the Pope were to ask George if he is a heretic or not, there might be some answers to some questions.
61 percent bad versus 39 percent good. If he would maybe repent for all of his sins, maybe the bad could be forgiven. It can be all good.
One thing is for sure: too much bad is not good.

What is really scary is there are idiots out there that might believe this crap!
