Cheney to speak?

NBC’s First Read: “[A] bipartisan call is growing for him to publicly address the incident. Such remarks are in the works, NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell reports. Cheney is scheduled to address the Wyoming legislature’s budget session on Friday, and sources indicate that he will ‘certainly’ speak to the issue then. That said, sources also caution that ‘we’re at Wednesday’ and suggest that progress made by Whittington will play a role in how any public comment is handled.”

    Still… don’t… care…

  2. Badmoodman says:

He’ll say nothing substantive pending Whittington’s medical outcome. He and his lawyers certainly aren’t that stupid. However, considering the Veep’s litany of gaffes the last 5 years, a resignation speech would be a tourniquet for Republican bleeding.

  3. Tony W says:

yep Whittington smiley and in good spirits sure make it easier than “he’s dead”

  4. Wayne A. Schneider says:

Maybe he’s publicly commenting from his home state so he can announce his resignation, hop back into the hummer and put an end to his political life.

    Okay, I can dream, can’t I?

Once again, I want to wish Mr. Harry Whittington a full and speedy recovery. Nobody should have to expect such treatment from a publicly elected official.

  5. ED Beckmann says:

If he does speak he will choose a user friendly venue. Do I hear Faux News is going to get an exclusive?.

  6. Car Loan says:
