I think when McCain was a POW they shoved G.W. Bush up his ass and made him a hand puppet. I thought this guy was an Independent! I guess he's just in it for the fame and the glory and will migrate toward either side in order to have more support. He must be the most insecure person in the world this side of Dick Cheney. Maybe Cheney hooked him up with the Devil and got him a great deal on his soul, even better than Cheney's deal.

The fact that al queda warned the government of the UAE that it had infiltrated the government should be enough to put the brakes on this deal. The American people don't know this, or they would be up in arms over this deal! It doesn't matter if it isn't proven. The possibility of it being true is enough. The MSM is purposely keeping the public uninformed. The MSM media is gearing up to propagandise the public into accepting this deal. They're going to poo-hoo the critics and push hard the "critics are racist" line, keep the American public in the dark about the very worrisome facts regarding the UAE's ties to terrorism. They're going to do a sell job for their Bush administration paymasters.

The so-called investigation that they're discussing will be nothing more than a do-nothing time delay at the end of which, YOU CAN COUNT ON IT, the "professionals" will state the deal is safe and "nothing to worry about here, folks. Move along..." They're just going to stall and give the row time to die down, time for the public's ten second attention span to move on to other things.

They have no right to run around for five years screaming, "THE ARABS ARE COMING, THE ARABS ARE COMING!!!", churning up public paranoia against middle easterners (and any Bush apologist who says they didn't is a damned liar), and then expect the public to accept turning over our ports to any middle-eastern country with ties to terrorism. They have no right to knowingly put us at risk for any reason.

I'm confused. I thought that China was part of the Evil Empire that St Ronnie said we should have no dealings with. Now they are our trading partners, lopsided ones to be sure.
I have lost respect for McCain since he allowed the Swift Boaters for Lies to distort Kerry's record even though he was a victim of similar distortions in 2000. Is he a man of principle? Probably not.

I got a brilliant idea why does The American banks not offer a better offer to P&O

Oh Sorry I forgot Bush has Banckrupted America the dollar is underwritten by a national debt that now exceeds $8 trillion dollars and trade deficits that surpass $600 billion per year. That means that the greenback is the greatest swindle in the history of mankind. It’s utterly worthless. The only thing that keeps the dollar afloat is that oil is traded exclusively in greenbacks rather than some other currency. If Iran is able to smash that monopoly by trading in petro-euros then the world’s central banks will dump the greenback overnight, sending markets crashing and the US economy into a downward spiral.

[...] In one of the most inane statements ever heard on the Sunday Morning talk circuit, Senator John McCain outlined his stance on the Dubai port deal: I think our priorities are misplaced… We’ve got some very, very big issues that I think are perhaps more important than whether a country that’s freer than China should have control of some of our terminals.
John McCain is a two timer fool. I use to have respect for him (from AZ) but now after seeing how many times he flip flopped back and forth, I have just about the same amount of respect as I have for this administration - NONE. IMPEACH JOHN MCCAIN BEFORE HE GETS INTO OFFICE (lol)

# 1961: Kuwait joins the Arab League.
# 1962: Algeria joins the Arab League.
# 1964: The first summit convenes in Cairo; the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALESCO) forms; a second league summit that autumn welcomes the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
# 1967: South Yemen joins the Arab League.
# 1971: Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates join the Arab League.
# 1973: Mauritania joins the Arab League.

# 1993: Comoros joins the Arab League.
# 1994: The Arab League condemns the Gulf Cooperation Council's decision to end the secondary and tertiary trade embargo against Israel, insisting that only the Council of the Arab League can make such a policy change, and member states can not act independently on such matters.

# 1998: The Arab League Secretary-General condemns the use or threat of force against Iraq; Arab League interior and justice ministers sign an agreement to strengthen cooperation against terrorism; the Arab League denounces bomb attacks against US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and US missile strikes against Afghanistan and Sudan.
# 2002: During an annual summit in Beirut in March, the Arab League proposes full normalization of relations with Israel in exchange for Israeli withdrawal to the 1967 internationally recognized borders, implying Israeli evacuation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, east Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the return of all Palestinian refugees and their descendants to Israel.

Disputes - international:
	Definition Field Listing
because the treaties have not been made public, the exact alignment of the boundary with Saudi Arabia is still unknown; boundary agreement was signed and ratified with Oman in 2003 for entire border, including Oman's Musandam Peninsula and Al Madhah enclaves, but contents of the agreement and maps showing the alignment have not been published; **UAE engage in direct talks and solicit Arab League support to resolve disputes over Iran's occupation of Lesser and Greater Tunb Islands and Abu Musa Island**

Illicit drugs:
	Definition Field Listing
the UAE is a drug transshipment point for traffickers given its proximity to Southwest Asian drug producing countries; the UAE's position as a major financial center makes it vulnerable to money laundering; anti-money-laundering controls improving

McCain is an asskissing puke, always has been, and always will be. The pukes promised him all the money in the world to campaign for the shrub, and he did.

Whether the shrub likes it or not this ports deal HAS TO BE approved by congress since it is in the form of a treaty with a foreign country, not a CONTRACT.

Check it out, consitutional scholars will be, so why dont all you trolls.
