At what point do we get to say look, it is time for you to go?
If the CEO of my company had that kind of job performance, he would be forced to resign. Bush needs to leave while the leaving is good.
Remember, Bush doesn’t live in the first White House. It is the second one. The Britsih destroyed the first one. The Senators were left to fend for themselves.
Thank you Lord Jesus. Can’t wait ’till November. Vote Chuck Pennachio, US Senate for Pennsylvania. We here in PA do not have to settle for Santorum light – Bob Casey. Vote for Chuck.
This is front-pagge, above-the-fold, lead-story, wall-to-wall coverage worthy. 34% !!?? I hope it drops into the 20s… The lower it goes, the more hope I have for America.
I don’t think this will be the lowest once the Libby story moves forward, Rove is fingered, etc…etc. This idiot still has 3 more years to f*#k up even more…he certainly all of the sudden start doing things correctly. You can count on that.
In keeping with Bush’s record, he’ll be okay as long as nothing else goes wrong. Really, bouncing back from success is his strong suit.
He has a little trouble with crisis decision making. That’s something he could work on for the next few years. I’m sure the socioeconomic conditions he has set up will give him plenty more practice in crisis management.
I predict 27.8% by this Summer, possibly 21.5% by the fall/winter.
FYI, this is calculated by also factoring in another Bush Crime Family Terrorist attack, and of course, the war with Iran (WWIII).
I’m not a fan of polls, but I feel no matter what Bush’s approval rating is (it’s about time his base stands up for integrity and hold Bush and admin accountable – just because you don’t like Democrats doesn’t give Republicans a blank slate to be as corrupt as they want to be), it is in a vacuum; the corruption on the Republican side is so bad heaven won’t have’em and hell won’t take’em, but the Democrats are, well, so weak they either aren’t there or Republican-clones.
Maybe Greenspan is right, the time is ripe for a 3rd party…
DISAPPROVE OR APPROVE answers to Disapprove or Approve questions don’t shed nearly enough light on the matter.
Much more enlightening would be a much more comprehensive Opinion Poll, and if it were conducted (or conducted, if it were reported) the results would certainly show that…
The majority of the People think the President is a crooked tool of the Arms Industry (both legal and illegal) and the Oil Industry…
The majority of the People think the President (or other powerful members of his administration) had some foreknowledge of the attacks of 9-11; attacks which multiplied their Personal and Political Fortunes a hundred-fold…
The majority of the People (and suddenly of the White House Press Corps too) think this administration has no reservation at all to lying, misinforming, and hiding the Truth from the People, whenever they think they can get away with it (and even when they know they can not)…
And the majority of the People think that at this time the Nation (and the People) would be far better served with any other competent Public Servants performing the Offices of President and Vice President, than the two corrupt performers presently staining those Offices.
And that last point of a majority of Public Opinion seems as certainly true now, as it was in the elections of 2004 and 2000.
And just as certain as that is, so is this: This present administration, specifically the President and Vice President, care nothing at all about Public Opinion; not the least little bit. For had they, they never would have disrespected such a Public Opinion, in the elections of 2004 and 2000.
This administration cares nothing that it’s ‘approval rating’ is at 34%; and would care no more if it were at 3% or 4%; for the simple reason that:
They have everything they want. They are virtually undefeated. They are unpunished, unchallenged, unopposed, and for all intents and purposes, IMMUNE.
And that’s at least as comprehensive an analysis as anyone can report, on the matter of this DISAPPROVE OR APPROVE Opinion of the People regarding their administration of government; and that administration’s opinion regarding Public Opinion Polls.
(and if such truths as these don’t wake the People this fall, then nothing ever will.)
I think 34% is 34% too high.
How can so many millions of people be so misinformed?
Even my ex – who voted for John Anderson in 1980 BTW – who had somehow become an idiot in 2004, has seen the error of his ways.
I don’t get it.
At 34% isn’t it time to stop overrating Rove. In front of some Repubs, and I think recently, he said the Democrats would have used “therapy” as a response to 9/11. The lying 3 are going to be laid out for the count, so to speak, never to rise.
Crofter
oh..please don’t resign bushie, we’d be stuck with mr 18%. Well, to the 34% and 18% folks out there, come on out now, I know you are tired of the sand in your eyes. Dry thoes tears, you can do it, stand up straight, let me help you off with the rosie classes, there we are. The Democrates won’t bite you, easy now, you’ll get over feeling so stupid.
Guess we’ll have to wait for BigChief 34%FallingFast to hit the low 20’s before the chickenshit Democrats feel emboldened enough to actually show a little bottle.
So 34% are so faith based and blind!!!??? These are similar people to the Germans who didn’t believe that their government was exterminating Jews and Poles until they were marched into Dachau and their faces pushed into the excrement of their own apathy. Some never give up. I heard on a talk show that now true Bushie believers think that the port affair is some clever plot to CATCH terrorists.
Maybe you can’t really educate all the masses…but only 66% or so.

Maybe you can’t really educate all the masses…but only 66% or so.
This doesn’t faze the Bushites(Bush’s dilusional followers) one bit. My college Professor Dr. Ray Pullium asked me a question recently concerning the kinds of literature the Bushites read. “What kind of books do Bush lovers read?” he asked. I already knew the answer to that question long before hand so I responded in kind: “I’ve asked Bush followers that same question myself. Most of them don’t read.” To this he simply replyed “You see my boy. It is a following of the illiterate.”
The above comment is entirely true. I really did ask a whole lot of Bush followers about what they read. My cousin Ronald is a Bushite. He doesn’t read books. See the corelation.
Bushites aren’t even Conservatives either. Given the choice between George W. Bush and the Conservative ideology, they overwelmingly choose Bush. They put a person before a principle just as they put a person before their country. They have drunk the koolaid. They are officially members of David Coresh’s(George Bush’s) Branch Dividians.
All that is left is for Charles Manson(George Bush) to send these dilusional followers out to kill all dissenters. I will tell you one thing though. If one of them Bushites break into my house, I’m gonna pick up my shotgun and I’m gonna blow their MF heads off.
I’ll show those crazy Bushites some justice Alabama Redneck style. There are plenty of the Bushites out here in my home state of Alabama. If a civil war breaks out, I’m gonna take as many of them down with me as I possibly can.
#3 I’m from Pennsylvania, too. Keep an eye out for Chris Matthews’s little brother. He’s running for LT. Gov. on the
RepbuliKKKan Party. That would explain Chris’ political bias which favors his brother and against the real Americans.
Lynn Swann may be a great football player, but that doesn’t mean I’m voting for him. I can’t believe Swann is sucking up to the most racist President alive.
Before you all experience rapture and are beamed up the mothership. There are two polls ending concurrently with CBS. The CBS poll (34%) had the oldest data with part of the poll going back to the 22nd. Cook/RT (40%) was next with data reaching back to the 23rd. Rasmussen, the poll with the least went back only to the 24th and had Bush back at 43%, Clinton’s winning percentage in 1992. Taken as an trend, it shows that Bush plunged to a low; however, as more information was learned over from the 22nd through the 26th, his approval rating was back where it was before the barrage.
But today is the 28th and, in today’s politics, the 26th was an eternity ago.
Bushiva and L’il Dick are the two most contemptuous people on the planet…
…they (and their corporate co-conspirators in treason) must NOT be allowed to escape without being prosecuted for war profiteering…
…their families’ wealth should be confiscated and returned to the people’s treasury…
…they should all be turned over to the Hague to face war crimes, the violation of international law, and crimes against humanity (for the deaths of tens if not hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians)…
…this is a MUST if America’s karma is to ever be positively restored…
…ACCOUNTABILITY must be the Progressives’ watch word/talking point as we near the end of this terrible nightmare…
…for without ACCOUNTABILITY (and justice) there can be NO RECONCILIATION, UNITY, or PEACE in America…
That’s what you get when you lie, cheat, and steal from Americans … a 34% approval rating. Although, it really makes you wonder whats up with those 34% … These guys don’t know how to run a country and they’ve proven that. Time to get the Dems back in power. Clinton brought Peace and Prosperity to our country. Remember that?
Just another fake news story from CBS. Another poll heavily weighted down with democrats. Who cares, as long as liberals think they have now won some kind of election. Nothing makes libs more giddy than elation over some fixed up poll.
Doesn’t matter. Bush won’t be running in 2008. And liberal democrats don’t have any popular candidates who can win in 2008. If you think they’re angry now wait until they lose for the 3rd time. Maybe next time they’ll follow through on their threats to leave the country. Better make your plans now libs. Pack it and go, already.
How low can you go?

February 27th, 2006 at 9:12 pmBwaaahahahaha!! So, the country is beginning to realize we have a moron running the country. There is hope!
February 27th, 2006 at 9:12 pmAnyone know the lowest poll rating ever for any president?
February 27th, 2006 at 9:16 pmYa its Nixon at 29% after watergate. Gettin pretty close…Maybe we’ll have a record breaker.
February 27th, 2006 at 9:20 pmI don’t think this will be the lowest once the Libby story moves forward, Rove is fingered, etc…etc. This idiot still has 3 more years to f*#k up even more…he certainly all of the sudden start doing things correctly. You can count on that.
February 27th, 2006 at 9:20 pmDidn’t Nixon get into the 20’s during the height of Watergate? 29% seems to ring a bell.
February 27th, 2006 at 9:21 pmNeal — hadn’t seen yours before I posted.
February 27th, 2006 at 9:22 pmWasn’t Clinton almost double that during the height of the impeachment scandal? Somebody get W a BJ!

February 27th, 2006 at 9:33 pmDon’t misunderestimate the stoopidity of the Merakin public.
Rove will find some hot button issue to rally the troops and this number will sadly go up again. Infinite ignorance beats finite memories every time.
February 27th, 2006 at 9:35 pm18 percent said they had a favorable view of the vice president?????
82% of 290 million people (237,800,000 people) don’t like the VP?
66% of 290 million people (191,400,000 people) don’t approve of the Presnit?
I’m singin’ in the rain, just singin’ in the rain……
February 27th, 2006 at 9:39 pm34% President Bush’s approval rating, according to a new CBS poll, an all-time low.
Cheney’s at 18%, so no wonder Bush thinks his high……
February 27th, 2006 at 9:40 pmJust shows what a good job the media is doing of deceiving the public. Are those forged poll numbers I see? Quick check Bill Bennit.

February 27th, 2006 at 10:00 pmJohn Stewert on Larry King live got it about right:
in reference to Dick Cheney’s number,
Stewart compared it to the commercial where they state 4 in 5 dentists say use a sugar free gum,
Cheney has lower numbers than the dentists who think we need to chew sugar in our gum,
John always has the neat nack of putting Cheneys numbers in perspective and who he ranks below.
