I actually had four try to bully me over a project that required thought. Four honors students. And when I was tired of repeating myself, I said I was done discussing it. A parent shows up today unannounced to discuss the matter. Except that she only gets “I’m not discussing this any futher” and her darling son must be defended against the mean new teacher. Yeah, that’s why I became a teacher, to be mean to teenagers. Right.

This is my first year, and it has been trial by fire on so many levels. Thanks for the sage wisdom :)
