Judicial Watch sues for Bush/Abramoff records.

“A public-interest group has sued the Secret Service for access to White House visitor logs that the group says would show how often lobbyist Jack Abramoff met with President Bush and his staff. Judicial Watch filed suit in U.S. District Court in Washington under the federal Freedom of Information Act…”

Sure hope they get those logs. It goes all the way to the TOP and everyone should know.

  3. Clif says:

If bush keeps forgetting his friends he’s going to have to fake Alzheimer’s, in order to get anyone to believe him, hell he fakes playing a competenrt president, so this should not be too much of a streach.

  4. mima says:

This is the correct line of pursuit. You should be followed to its bitter end. The public(I didn’t vote for him) has placed the Fox in charge of the henhouse.

  5. person of interest says:

They should have the same success they had when they were trying to get more information on the FBI files Hillary had in her possession so she could smear her political opponents in the 1990s.

It must suck to be totally powerless as Bush steamrolls you at every turn.

  6. Clif says:

The steamroller has a flat recently

  7. Clif says:

Maybe the steamroller was peppered too?

  8. person of interest says:

Clif – Admittedly, Bush is tanking, but he’s already made his mark and framed the debate. If, by the grace of Satan, Democrats retake Congress, they’re not going to challenge policy. They’re going to try and impeach him.

We’ll still be at war. Still have tax cuts. AND after John Paul Stevens’ retires this summer, we’ll have a conservative majority ready to strip liberals of their favorite toy – the Supreme Court.

So yes, Bush is in the hole. But he’s already done enough damage to the left to last a generation. That’s good enough for me.

  9. cynical ex-hippie says:

Call me cynical, but if a hundred visits from a male hooker didn’t upset people, why should this?

  10. mr ho says:

Hey get those Jeff Gannon Records while you are there!

Umm that ex-hooker turned schill rubbed people the RIGHT way?

  12. cynical ex-hippie says:

#8 don’t forget Bush stuck it to us liberals by indebting us to the tune of $8 trillion and counting, and all the liberal soldiers he sent to their deaths in Iraq. I hope that’s good enough for you also.

Yes, Bush has given us enough debt to last more than a generation, and futher put our economy on a trajectory that the next generation will like none too much.

  13. Lad says:

This is the same group that work to see how mant times Monica entered the WH. My only question is: What the hell took you so long.

  14. person of interest says:

mr ho – you can’t get the records. Congress can’t. The Court will protect Bush. AND his highness will not have to turn over those documents to anyone.

  15. person of interest says:

#12 – stop the lies. The budget deficit has shrunk this year. Of course, the MSM is not reporting on it. As for the war in Iraq, Democrats thought it was a good idea to go to war in 2002. Of course, until they saw an opp to score points.

  16. Clif says:

  17. person of interest says:

Clif – your welcomed whatever that means! Someone has to set you clowns straight

  18. bobcat_grad says:

    #15

    POI – Nope. Again.

The proposed 2007 budget would contain the highest deficit in the history of the United States. Not to mention, it’s the first time that Bush has actually included budgeted money for the Iraq war. Up to this point, it’s all been off the books being paid for my magical money trees that grow in huge lakes of oil filled by the tax breaks to Big Oil.

Oh, and yea. We thought that it was a good idea to go to war. Of course, the reasons we were told we were going to war were lies. Oh, and we were also told that he had a plan for post-war Iraq. How’s that going, POI?

Keep the recycled, incorrect talking points comeing, POI.

    You’re doing a heckuva job.

  19. bobcat_grad says:

Oh, and in #18, in my haste to point out that POI was completely wrong, I made typos out the ying-yang. My bad.

  20. Sue says:

About time they do something besides bitch about Clinton while Bush and evil cohorts shred our Constitution and act like they are above the LAW and Bush called our Constitution a “Goddamn piece of paper!,too” He/they need to be arrested ASAP by FBI or U.S. troops for TREASON AND NOW! Before they pull off more false flag attacks on U.S. like they did on 9-11,which they were involved in and behind! That is WHY they want to sell those ports to KNOWN TERRORISTS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE IN BED WITH THE REAL TERRORISTS FROM SAUDI’ AND UAE IS WHY! We MUST STOP the sale of those 22 not 6 ports ASAP! And NO GODDAMN PHONEY INVESTIGATION LIKE 9-11 COMMISSION WAS EITHER! URGE GUTLESS, CORPORATE WHORE CONGRESS, THE MAJORITY IN BOTH PARTIES TO BLOCK AT ALL COSTS THE SALE OF THOSE PORTS, PERIOD AND OVERRIDE HIS VETO TOO! AND NOW!

  21. Clif says:

#18 Bush had a post war plan, the army war college wrote it in Feb 2003, but rummy ignored it and bush must have agreed because rummy is still there, the last guy that screwed up this bad they pushed aside, remember brownie, he’s as good at FEMA as rummy is at Defense.

  22. person of interest says:

Sue – I know your probably dieting again, but lay off the uppers, willya? You sound unglued – like you should be put in a straightjacket.

Clif – yawn….. Katrina would have happened with or without Bush. Sorry.

  23. person of interest says:

Sue – if you don’t cool down, your next stop is with Andrea Yates in the luny bin. You’re perfect for each other.

  24. Clif says:

But Rummys fiasco, which is much worse than katrina, wouldn’t, and we would have done the job right in afganistan, instead of the Taliban slowly growing, and the attacks are getting worse there, and the afgans would not have a war to send their recruits to, to train them, as they do now in Iraq

  25. person of interest says:

#24 – We had to go into Iraq. PERIOD. Blame Clinton and Bush’s father for letting Hussein stay in power.

We will never agree on that, I am sure. But, it’s that simple. America was weakened after the first gulf war and Clinton and Maddy A’s phony rhetoric made it worse. Bush did the right thing and history will prove it. History will also show that idiots like Sue were the nail in liberalism’s coffin.

  26. RemoveBush says:

POI – Have you ever served in the military?

My guess would be NO! People like you make me sick! You enjoy sending people off to die for something that you are not even willing to stand up for.

    Idiots, all of them.

  27. RemoveBush says:

    POI – By the way……

We did not have to go into Iraq. It was a war of choice not necessity.

  28. piltdown says:

Why don’t you righties go back to your pajama media sites? Fascists of a feather flock together, don’t they?

  29. person of interest says:

#26 – of course. Call me a chickenhawk. That worked well for Kerry and Paul Hackett.

Remove – get an agenda that is not rooted in HATE and maybe we can talk. Hoarding your war cred over me does little to impress me. I support the war we are fighting now unlike your terrorist sympathizing ass.

  30. person of interest says:

Piltdown – you should talk about fascists. The left-wing thought police will smear anyone who does not buy into all their anti-American, anti-military lies.

RemoveBush – a war of choice? That’s debatable and guess what – I’m done debating it. Yell at your party if you’re so unhappy we’re there.

  31. Clif says:

POI wrong and I have the military expierence to know better, we contained the soviet union for 50 years and they were and still aer much more dangerous then the islamofascists, but they did not have a large reserve of oil that they were selling in euros, please show more of your ignorance…

  32. RemoveBush says:

“Remove – get an agenda that is not rooted in HATE and maybe we can talk.”

    “terrorist sympathizing ass”

POI – Perhaps you should read your posts. You are like most ALL republicans. You are filled with hate and the only answer you have to anything is to curse at them. You have no idea what you are talking about. Since you have not served in the military, how can you say anything about whether the military is being operated properly?

    YOU CAN’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see your chickenshitass on the front line. You would be cowering in the corner crying like a baby. Kind of like you are now, you looser!

  33. person of interest says:

#31 – why not go to war for oil? You don’t want to drill here? You want to bitch about gas prices?

Clif – no matter what, you will never be happy with Bush. I mock you.

  34. piltdown says:

    Again.

    Pajamas media. Says it all

  35. Clif says:

Because of the civil war that is starting to explode on Iraq will deny us the oil, so that gambit was and is a loser, but if rummy had read and used the paper from the war college he would have known that it is in there, plus the oil exports are below prewar published levels not counting the cheating saddam was doing, so we failed there, Bush goofed, sorry he also has blown it , screwed up and the polls show it, hell cheney should ask him to go hunting next time, I would not complain if the dickster didn’t want to tell anyone for a week even the EMT’s

  36. person of interest says:

Piltdown – sorry, you’re the voice of reason. OR of a hateful partisan who democratic elections and order unless Democrats are in control.

  37. progressive and proud says:

#8 – NeD, you seem so angrily happy. And worry not, good wins over evil and unconstitutional laws will be overturned. Karma rules and history will out this administration as one of the most unpopular, unintelligent and corrupt.

Absolute power is exactly why this country was started and our founding fathers wanted to prevent. As history will tell, this will be the shining example of how wrong things can go.

  38. bobcat_grad says:

    POI just won’t get it.

Never will. There may be hope for him if he cuts back his daily dose of Limbaugh and O’Reilly.

He just needs to be deprogrammed.

  39. Fatty bin Laden says:

POI’s right–I’ll never be happy with Bush. Anyone who can run up trillions of dollars in national debt as he has while simultaneously enriching cronies and campaign donors–and while invading a country based on lies, killing tens of thousands–AND letting 9/11 happen in spite of reading an 8/6/01 Presidential Daily Briefing entitled “bin Ladin ermined to Strike in the U.S.”…well, how are you supposed to be happy with a miserable failure like that?

  40. bobcat_grad says:

    #39…

Now, Fatty. POI was nice enough to bring some refreshments to this thread. Have a glass of GOP kool-aid…

All that stuff will be much easier to swallow after you’ve had some kool-aid.

    Mmm…

  41. Howdy Neighbor says:

the visitor logs, yes, and the pictures!! don’t forget the pictures!!!!! we want the pictures!!!

  42. David says:

We had to go into Iraq. PERIOD.

Ummm, no we didn’t, and it sounds like you specifically haven’t. You are pushing a BS GOP talking point, badly. Where are the WMD? Where’s Osama? Where was the great existential threat to the US? NOT in Iraq. Nor Syria.

Flail away at that dead horse all you want, it ain’t getting back up.

  43. David says:

get an agenda that is not rooted in HATE

Coming from a Bush apologist whose agenda appears to be based on bashing liberals with ridiculous nonsense if not outright lies?

NOTE to Rove. Get better shills! These ones are not helping your cause.

Anyone else notice that when one winger troll stops posting, another comes along with the exact same nonsense, but a different name?

  44. Ergy Earp says:

POI, a true Christian…”Love thy neighbor”…”Blessed are the meek…peacemakers…humble”….”let ye with no sin cast the first stone”. Yep a real Old Testament Christian, pinning evil on anyone who disagrees.

And my, how impressive and the intelligent response. Sure, we are the idiots, we are the traitors, we are the terrorist sympathizers, we are the evil ones…who believe in the Constitution and the Rule of Law and true democracy.
Yes, our founding Fathers too all evil in this regard.

“It is Clintons fault I tell you….All HIS FAULT…Boo hoo hoo.” “We won last time and we will always win ’cause you liberals are evil and losers. WAAA! WAAA! WAAA!” “It doesn’t matter if Abramoff was dirty or broke the law ’cause we are the good guys”

POI – please don’t bore us with anymore of your hurt feelings and crying. Try to grow up and accept a little responsibility for a change. Abramoff did wrong to the benefit his own and many in Karl Rove’s Empire. Grow some morals. Use some thought instead of bile for a change.

  45. Cyra Brown says:

POI- You should make an appointment with your healthcare provider, ASAP !!!! And insist on an MRI. I think you may have a brain tumor, and it appears to be located on the part of your brain that controls logic and reason. I wouldn’t put it off, you are obviously in real danger here. Good luck.

  46. Marie says:

I will NEVER be happy with Bush either. Why would anyone?

  47. Marie says:

The White House press corps should have filed a FOIA form to see when Gannon was at the White House and who he saw — they would do that if they had the balls.

  48. Marty Didier says:

My personal story of more than 30+years crosses paths with Gus Boulis/Abramoff, MOB, International Drug Distribution, Gov Ryan, Chicago’s Hired Truck Scandal, the Dubai Port (tobe)scandal and many more. I was in a family that joined Organized Crime that has direct links to Very Wide Spread Political Corruption that goes all the way in our Federal System. If you look around the news, you only see Corruption, but please accept that there’s other levels of worse crimes that have been committed by this Organization. Law Enforcement calls them “the Outfit” and for good reason. What you’re seeing right now in the news, is ONLY the TIP of a HUGE ICEBERG.
