Can the american people sue congress for not doing their job? Or can we sue for them not acting as a seperate but equal branch of government? Is there rules in place stating that the Executive office can NOT lobby or influence congress?

As long as the Excutive branch is allowed to twist arms and and turn our democracy into a bribery fest Iâ€™m afraid that the laws wont matter anymore.

When giving testimony, if a person cannot remember, they are admonished by attorneys to say they cannot remember.
If, however, a person concocts a story and then later says he can’t remember, it doesn’t look good.
If a person contrives a story, he had to give it thought, so he can’t say later, that he can’t remember, because he did remember enough to make up his story.
Therein lies the problem for Libby.

BTW, the real skunk in the parlor is Douglas Feith. Read Bamford’s latest book “A Pretext for War”. Feith should be charged with treason. Along with Cheney, who at the very least allowed it all to happen.

Hold on, folks, this person is a Harvard professor with an impeccable resume. I have read his book on the Seven Sins of Memory. There is much scientific evidence on the reliability (or unreliability) of memory and Dr. Schacter is an expert in this area. He might be impressive to a jury. I think it actually might be an inventive move on Libby’s part. Criminal intent is an element on the perjury charge.
