Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson has lost his bid for re-election to the National Religious Broadcasters’ board of directors. (HT: Hotline’s Last Call)
Guess it was the absenteeism caught up with him.
30 years on the board and attends 1 board meeting, according to his own spokesperson.
Another false profit bites the dust.
If there is going to be this across-the-dial, round-the clock christian broadcasting-at least make it interesting.Getting rid of Robertson might be the beginning.

March 2nd, 2006 at 4:20 pmIs God going to punish all of those voters that didn’t vote for him now?

#2 – Of course God will punish them! Don’t you know that Pat is God’s chosen leader?!?
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:27 pm(Tongue FIRMLY in cheek!)
Maybe god IS punishing him because:
1) he’s gay
2) he reads/views pornography
3) he’s an adulterer
4) he believes in idolitry
Only Pat & god know for sure….
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:32 pmOMG… are people actually coming out of the ether?
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:38 pmAre they finally seeing these people for who they really are?
Maybe there IS hope.
#6,
Don’t be silly. I am sure they have found
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:41 pmsomeone far worse.
No doubt God approved of the move. It’s his way of saying,
(with apologies to Michael Jackson) “YOUR BUTT IS MINE!”
I guess Pat won’t be looking to harass anyone at the pearly gates when his time comes.
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:42 pmRobertson’s replacement had better watch out – Pat might call in a Godstrike on him…
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:48 pmYou can only spout hatred and wrath so long until people figure out you are not speaking for God, or at least any God you’d want anything to do with.
Perhaps he needs to do a little reading… like what Jesus preached in the Bible.
March 2nd, 2006 at 4:52 pmOne down…
March 2nd, 2006 at 6:35 pmPray for DeLay, Pat…he needs you right now.
