Mighty is just a right as Ryan, Jules, and others on this gay topic in my humble opinion. I believe my feelings mock most peoples in stating that I could give a $hit who’s gay or who marries who. The topic makes many people uncomfortable and they would rather not hear about it. The rethugs have mastered polarizing the issue to the point where dems are considered “for” homosexuality and them “against”. (Unless it’s the Gannon mystery- which they won’t discuss). The same naïve minds that link Saddam and 9-11 think the dems want to make their children gay.

I can’t scream it loud enough. The dems have to diffuse this and other emotional issue bombs if want to win elections.

How can someone just so blatantly ignore what he said in the past??

yep, i’m prejudiced against bigotry, and proud of it.

Good for you and your daughter. There’s nothing wrong with being gay, or telling people your child is gay. And only a hate filled, bigoted, intolerant and probably closeted homosexual like MightyTranny would ever see this sort of honesty and tolerance as a negative thing.

The morons like MightyTranny say that homosexuality is ‘none of anyone’s business’ like it’s a dirty secret. Would you say whether or not your child is dating someone, or is married, or if they were pregnant that it’s no one’s business? Would you say if they were attending college it’s no-one’s business? Would you say if they played sports, that it’s a secret?

Republicans have to be some of the stupidest, most out of touch, and hateful people on the face of the earth.

it’s a social reality that there is a segment of the population the loathes and fears homosexuals, as if they are afflicted by a disease or mental disorder.

to say you’re proud of a gay relative or friend is merely telling all of those who would embrace bigotry, fear and hatred that their homophobia will find no comfort in these quarters, so you’d best not start.

My statements are not unconscionable – a parent putting out the info about his/her daughter is unconscionable. Poor daughter!! But the real news: 99.99% of parents EVER says, “the HAPPIEST day of my life was when my child told me they were gay,” No, a loving parent does just that – they LOVE their kids – period. But most parents (after suspecting a child is gay or being caught off guard completely) shed a tear and love their kid with all their hearts. I believe the ignorance and prejudice lie with hyper-defensive people like yourself. Once again, I hate to reiterate for you remedial types – I DON’T CARE, IT’S NONE OF MY BUSINESS, and my sincere condolences to Jules daughter for having such “tell all” parent.

Don’t you think it’s a little weird that a parent tells strangers about his /her kids sexual preferences???? I NEVER ASKED – and I think it’s pitiful for a girl to have such a self-absorbed parent – like having a homosexual child is a badge of honour?? (A question: why would anyone be proud of a child being homosexual? Why would any parent be proud of a child being heterosexual?
