Preemptive strike 2.0.
“The Pentagon is looking into the possibility of Israel launching a strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities,” the Jerusalem Post reports. Proliferation expert Joseph Cirincione: such a strike “would not, as is often said, delay the Iranian program. It would almost certainly speed it up. That is what happened when the Israelis struck at the Iraq program in 1981.”

Anyone possessing even the most tenuous hold on reality KNOWS that Iran is not an inch away from having nukes, let alone the urge to drop one on us, though it would be understandable. The nation we should fear the most is OURS!! GWB can launch a nuclear bomb any time he wants. And Cheney and Rumsfeld would have no problem egging him on. And he LUUUUUVVVVS power, and the illusion of “control”. And his “handlers” know just which buttons to push. Crap… I am scaring myself here….
March 14th, 2006 at 1:02 amIsrael has been bragging that its new “Arrow” anti-missile missile can defeat any Iranian missile attack, so this isn’t about defending Israel. It’s about using Israel to attack our ordained enemy, Iran. The US seems to have a permanent grudge against Iran, through every administration, except of course for 1953-1979 when our boy the Shah was in power. I read where his son is ready to return “when asked.”

Limbaugh, WBAL to part ways

WBAL Radio will drop Rush Limbaugh as part of an effort to revamp its programming lineup.
The nationally syndicated conservative commentator will air his last show on WBAL Radio May 31.
Thereafter, “The Rush Limbaugh show” will air on another station in Baltimore, officials at Limbaugh’s radio syndicate Premiere Radio Networks Inc. said Monday. Premiere Radio officials said they will make an official announcement in the “near future” about that station’s identity.
“WBAL has been a great partner to Rush Limbaugh for many years,” said Julie Talbott, executive vice president at Premiere Radio Networks, in a statement. “However, at this time, we’re excited about a new direction the show will take in Baltimore.”

Unfortunately, before anyone has any time to confront, answer, and provide peaceful solutions to those issues in a lawful and civil minded way, these crazy tools will instead take it upon themselves to exterminate all forms of life which they feel don’t represent their interests and the interests of those who finance their power – Yeah, God gave you a 100 million dollar allowance, now go buy yourself some nukes and bad intelligence.
Even the slightest form of dissent; be it religious, political, foreign, or domestic will leave you crippled by a machine that does not hesitate to institute war, torture, and other civil liberty infringements in order to achieve its goal. They will stop at nothing to silence all life on this planet in the name of money and power and whatever religious figure they pretend to worship.
Hey, here’s a quick word of wisdom bestowed upon me by an often overlooked angel:

You being ignorant to other parts of the world do not realise that arabic maps do not have Isreal on their maps on Palestine one other point to make is Nearly all Arabic airlines will not allow you to fly on their palnes if you have an Isreali Visa or stamp in your passport and most Arabic countires will not let you in to their country if you have an Isreali Stamp ………so please

Sorry, Smedley. Correct me if I’m wrong, pal, but Bush has made a mess in Iraq and all but lost the War on Terror, thrown the US into heavy debt, silenced most of his critics, and is setting up a gastepo here in the country. Now his poll numbers are in the tank.

March 14th, 2006 at 9:07 amThese questions may be irrelevant in today’s America but does the authorization to use force against Afghanistan and subsequent authorization to use force against Saddam’s Iraq give Bush the right to use force against Iran without further Congressional authorization? Does the meme of the undeclared “war-on-terror” give Bush the right to use military force against each and every country his cabal deems to be threat to our “national security” in this de facto Forever War?
From all I know, all Iran wants to do is exercise what is it’s right under the NPT and under the same treaty, it is the obligation of the US to assist Iran in it’s quest towards nuclear energy. Is our paranoia and Islamophobia enough justification for killing over a million Iranis simply because Iran is demanding what is its own right?
Iran has stated that it wants Israel off the world maps but that is a separate political issue and taking that to mean that Iran wants to nuke Israel into oblivion is simpleminded stupid thinking at best and fear mongering at worst.
That said, I do not think Iran has anything to worry about. America has lost most of its teeth in Iraq thanks to BushCo incompetence and anybody who assumes that Russia and China will stand by and let America corner the last remaining oil reserves and disrupt their own supplies should standby for a very rude awakening.
America’s strength has always been its high moral ground and the threat of the use of force. When we lost the war in Iraq, we lost more than just the war in Iraq.

If you travel to Any Arabic country you will be refused entry if theres an Isreali visa/stamp in your passport,

Can’t remember what bill or resolution the congress gave Bush just before Afghanastan and Iraq, but the wording was such I was histerical at the time. It implied he had the right to go after any country. My opinion is we have no right to march on the world. Maybe some one could look it up. March 14th, 2006 at 10:37 amThe resolution authorized the use of force against those responsible for 9/11, which can be anyone or any country the government chooses, with no time limitations. Now that one of the proclaimed 9/11 perps Iraq has been “democratized” and “normalized” it’s time to go after Iran. The government has to have a threat at all times in order to justify high military spending and domestic repression so Iran will be the neocon’s version of the Soviet Union former role, except this exercise will probably include real bombs falling because, unlike the USSR, Iran has no nukes and so is vulnerable.

The insanity would be to let a psychotic, messianic nutjob acquire nuclear weapons. That would ensure armeggedon. How does any logical person conclude that taking preemptive military actions to stop Iran obtaining nukes would be more dangerous than actually allowing Iran under the mullahs to have nukes?

If they do, I am sure they would retaliate with everything they have to Israel, within striking distance and a big symbolic blow to the US. And all of their neighbor countries would cheer the destruction of Israel.
