  1. Jesus Christ God of WAR says:

Finally, some truth on the matter.

Iraq was the wrong place to go after 9/11. But the Bush Cabal would not listen to reason, nor were they interested in really protecting a nation from those who had the means to do us harm.

Every nation goes through a period of Madness. It’s our nation’s turn, or so it appears.

  2. unbelievable says:

That standard nutty 25%… Same folks who think the sun revolves around a flat Earth and that ‘Intelligent Design” should be taught in public schools as a Science…

  3. wisedup says:

I can hear it now, ‘you 75% are ‘helping the terrrrusts!’….your all under arrest!’

  4. Tony W says:

OT but does this surprise anyone?

  5. Tony W says:

In answering my own question…Yeah Dubya’s surprised me, I didn’t think it was that high!!!

  6. Spudge_Boy says:

    Hey folks,

That 25% looks just as crazy from the VON Show in San Jose.

  7. Zookeeper says:

#4 – Holy crap! 91? That explains a lot. My dog is smarter than that!

  8. catalyst says:

how is it possibel that 25% are still that stupid?

there is physical evidence that BUSH AND BLAIR wanted to provoke a war w/ Iraq by flying in their no fly zone!

    http://shiftshapers.gnn.tv/headlines/7381/Dirty_Tricks_Bush_Blair_Considered_Luring_Saddam_Into_War

  9. Drew Mackenzie says:

I’d agree with the sentiment of the IQ thing, but the data is completely false. Debunked by Snopes years ago.

  10. RunningDogLackey says:

#7 The difference should have been obvious. After all, your dog doesn’t eat his own poop.

  11. Democrat Soldier says:

#9 – We’re using the ultra-right wing-nut playbook on news: repeat it often enough and it automatically becomes true!

You know, like “There were WMD’s in Iraq!” and “We went into Iraq to bring democracy!” and “Pres. Bush didn’t break any law when he spied on Americans!”

  12. Zookeeper says:

#10 – No she doesn’t, but she is pretty dumb. Sweet as anything, but dumber than dirt.

  13. Drew Mackenzie says:

#11 Srry, could you repeat that? I had a 1,000 points of light in my eyes from that shining city upon a hill.

  14. Smedley says:

The real reason for going into Iraq is still unknown
    Why Did Bush Destroy Iraq?

    http://www.antiwar.com/roberts/?articleid=8697

    Read the above article
I can think of no other reason except a perosnal grudge between the Older Bush and saddam

  15. Smedley says:

The war was wrong and America and UK should pay heavy compensation too

  16. RunningDogLackey says:

    #13 Those aren’t “1,000 points of light.”

    They’re “villagers with torches.”

    Run, George, run!

  17. Smedley says:

    25% of 298,300,436

is about 75 million nutters in America , the other 75% who have sense should round them up and stick them in Bushes secret prison gulags hes been building

  18. Solitaire says:

I wonder if any of those 25% lost a loved one for Bush’s wet dream, would they join the 75%.
It’s so easy to say that somebody else’s sacrifice was worth making.

  19. Left of Center says:

The Bush Whitehouse is just like that idiot cheerleader that fell on her head recently. Being carried out on a stretcher with a fractured neck, they still continue to cheer.
    Impeach Bush Now!

  20. Marie says:

How could it have been worth the cost in lives and treasure?
We invaded Iraq for what? For whom?
Three quarters of the polled think it hasn’t been worth it — but it wasn’t worth it three years ago either — nothing has changed; only the opinion of Americans who find it hard to accept the apparent failure of their leaders.
Bush has ruined everything he touched in his adult life — when he left, he left everything worse than when he went entered the picture. Unfortunately, this time he has ruined America.

  21. David B says:

The 25% are the terminally uneducatable in this country. They will always be with us. They watch the 700 Club and christian programming during the day and faux news at night.

  22. progressive and proud says:

#4 I think that is obvious. Look at my man Clinton, though. He is gifted; no wonder repubs are so scared of him.

  23. progressive and proud says:

#19 HAHAHAHA. I thought the same exact thing when I saw her with a neckbrace and cheering. What a dolt.

  24. Michdem says:

First of all I’d like to see a breakdown of this poll to see how many of these numskulls have lost love ones in this war . Secondly , 91 ? no a surprise , I can’t wait to tell my daughter(126 14 years old ) this . Thanks .

  25. Line Drive says:

#14. After we invaded Iraq the oil coming out of that country is nothing more than a trickle. In effect, it’s been capped. And the world’s second largest reserve is now protected by the US military. Since March 2003, global oil supplies have been pinched and prices have gone up. A gallon of gas in the US has doubled since the invasion. The Saudis are making moola, and when the Saudis make moola so do the Bushes. It’s all about money. See Smedley Butler. See Halliburton.

  26. Barbara Greaney says:

Does anyone know Dan Quayle’s IQ. Everyone thought Quayle was too dumb to be President. I bet he is smarter than George W. Bush.

  27. WaltTheMan says:

Actually, Dan’s IQ exceeded that of both Bushes. Poppa from inbreeding and W from a congenial mental defect inherited from his dam. IQ is a measure one’s ability to reason .Danny’s problem was that he could not remember fuck – unlike W, he can think.

  28. The Real American says:

In response to solataire’s comments about ‘wet dream’…how disgusting. You are obviously a demicrat. No noble Republican would stoop to such a level. We are men of GOD.

    LET FREEDOM REIGN!

  29. Jericho says:

I guess 25% of ‘m were illiterate. Again, it’s Bush to blame.

  30. Susan says:

I can’t believe that with this data – the Democrats (less Feingold) still have no spine. My theory on why they don’t support censuring Bush is that the Democratic Leadership Council (led by Carville, et. al.) think that they can wage the war better. The so-called moderate Democratic clique (Evan Bayh, Joe Lieberman, Hillary Clinton, Levin and Biden) in my view are no better than and are actually a part of this 25% of Americans – Unfortunately, the sad truth is our country may not be better off after the 2006 elections. Susan

  31. Lynn says:

#28. Where to begin? First of all, learn how to spell democrat! (And people made fun of Dan Quayle.) Second of all, are you saying that all Republicans are men? That would explain their position on women’s rights. And finally, to quote a bumper sticker I saw recently, “God is not spelled G.O.P!” There are plenty of men (and women) democrats who are of God. The Republican party does not own God nor does God favor any one political party.

  32. Craig says:

Someone earlier mentioned that we’re using the Repugnican playbook by repeating something often enough….. Well, folks, their playbook seems to be working. They seem to be winning (and stealing) elections with their playbook. Rather than sitting back complaining about their playbook, why dont we use it ourselves. Say “Bush is a fucking war criminal” 99,000 times a day and even a Repugnican with a mean IQ slightly greater than a gnat, will likely start to believe it.

  33. Richard H. White says:

In May of 2001 Bush gave the Taliban a money gift of $43,000,000. What did the Taliban do with this money gift? (WASHINGTON POST)
On TV Bush bragged that he was a C student at YALE. I did not know that he has an IQ of
    091
Why does he send our youth to their deaths in an unnecessary war? We have not killed any white people since WW2.
We have 43 million people without health insurance. That is more important than “Democracy” for Iraq. How many innocent Iraq women and children have Bush’s bombs have maimed and killed for “DEMOCRACY”
Iwas in WW2 and have seen the results! It is something that I prefer to forget.

  34. Ohm says:

I think when the official poll shows that his approval rating is 33% (this is one of the magic Illuminati numbers, isn’t it?) that the next faux attack will be staged.

  35. dennis says:

that 33% thing is interesting. faux attack yes. the repubs need another “big one” if they are going to keep the presidency in 2008. here’s one for you all. how do you know that 9/11 was not a real terrorist attack? because the bush adm. has never acted as if it was a real terrorist attack. simple enough. now if they can come up with an aids like virus that ataches itself to bibles.

  36. Richard H. White says:

When we invaded Iraq V.P. Cheney advised us that the Iraq people would welcome us. What happened to that prediction? Why was Cheney wrong about that?
Now the President tells us we are addicted to oil. Whose fault is that? I wonder what the price of gasoline would be if we did not invade Iraq?
I was against the war when it started and I am against the war now.
Now he talks about destroying Iran. That could start WW3.
I was in WW2 and I have nothing good to say about that. I have 2 teenage grandsons and will do all I can to keep them out of this war!
    Will Bush start a draft?
Did anyone tell Bush that there are 3 ethnic groups in Iraq. Did Bush study History in Yale?
Iraq was created out of the Otterman Empire after WW1. (1921)

  37. Richard H. White says:

Is it possible that President Bush is getting his instructions from GOD to destroy Iran? If that happens it might start WW3! Where can you find that information? I need to know because I do not know how Bush can justify making war on people to give them Democracy?
I am not sure that we have a democracy because you can have your computer seized by the US Government. They don’t even have to tell you why(Patriot Act)
I was in WW2 and don’t want my grandchildren sent into combat to save Arab oil. Brazil has become self sufficent in energy and does not have to buy Arab oil! Why can’t we do that?
President Carter warned the US that this could happen. If the Arabs cannot sell us oil what else could tey sell us SAND?
