Can we write the judge and ask for life in prison for Jack?
The American taxpayer’s opinions being weighed ( since we were the ones screwedover by Jack and his ilk ) would actually be fair and balanced
OK, here is the compassion: Twenty-four months in prison. But only if he rolls on DeLay and takes him with him. They both serve their time in the same cell.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the balance is this: every day we give them a big dose of viagra and watch them take turns being the butt monkey.
Compassionate and balanced would be to sentense EVERYBODY on his list up to and including Queen George the Dumb to the same term in the neighbor hood of 10 to 15 with no possibility of a pardon.
with all his bazillions, i’m surprised he’s not offering the judge an opportunity to meet Rove or Bush in the oval office in exchange for a lighter sentence… OR why the judge doesn’t just pulling out the Cunningham Card of Bribes and look up “lenient sentence in the face of overwhelming greed and corruption”… hmmmm, looks like the price is $100 million Jack.. i’ll take cash… but I’ll still give you 100 years…
Did Jack have compassion and balance when he was peddling influence, ripping off native Americans, manipulating people, removing the voice of the people from congressmen’s ears, aiding those who cheat, lie, and steal, destroying the entegrity of the system, participating in making the rich richer and the poor poorer, supporting the war, supporting a corrupt, incompetent administration?
Makes sense to me, I’d do the same.
March 15th, 2006 at 2:36 pmAcheiving balance eh? Sounds like subtle extortion.
March 15th, 2006 at 2:40 pmI guess he knows the answer from at least one “friend.” Oops.
March 15th, 2006 at 2:41 pmCompassion and balance, is that what you need to pick up the soap in the shower at Club-Fed?

by the time he gets out of prison he will be using a cigar as a toothbrush
March 15th, 2006 at 3:02 pmSimple – for every Bushie he throws under the bus he gets a week off his sentence. A month for Cheney, Bush, or Rove.
March 15th, 2006 at 3:07 pmDoes that mean the rest of us can also write letters to “balance” out the judges perspective?
What’s the judge’s e-mail address. I’d like to ad my 2 cents.
March 15th, 2006 at 3:08 pmDid he leave an address where we can let the Court know how much we appreciate his marvelous efforts?

March 15th, 2006 at 3:45 pmHe should ask those Mariannas sweat shop workers to start a write-in campaign on his behalf.

March 15th, 2006 at 5:01 pmHey Jack, ask Georgie Porgie for a letter. Oh, right, he dont remember you.
That is too bad and so sad.
March 15th, 2006 at 5:28 pmAbramoff syas he is “saddened and embarrassed”.
He used to peddle influences and buy favors. Now he begs for pity.
I doubt he knows what shame is.
