[...] The idea is moving fast online, including Eschaton, Crooks and Liars, MyDD, The Left Coaster, Think Progress, and Daily Kos. The people following the links from all over the blogosphere are finding the following plan: For Phase One: The Senate Judiciary Committee will be holding more hearings on the illegal domestic NSA spying without a warrant on Tuesday. They will also be holding hearings on Sen. Russ Feingold’s censure resolution on Friday.  We’d like to get their attention, and let them know that illegal actions of the President and upholding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are issues about which Americans care deeply. [...]
It’d be nice if the MSM would do more to present both sides of the censure debate, and the key questions at hand, such as: why did the Bush Administration argue inherent authority, then undercut its message by cutting a deal with Senate Republicans.
The MSM is more interested in horse races, so of course, they have to prescribe false motives for why Russ Feingold is trying to censure the present.
Feingold must be an opportunist. Or he hates Bush. Or both. Why bother giving the actual reason — upholding the law — a fair shake.
Thinkprogress would do well to offer the included link to its readers.
Bush and his Republican Guard shredded that “god-damned piece of paper”[Bush quote] long ago and are now busy trying to finish bringing about the Bush dictatorship they desire. They have all violated their oath of office; they are vile, they are amoral, they are liars, criminals, and they are an abomination to humanity. Most of them should be tried for treason.
Patrick Henry: “…(g)ive me liberty or give me death!”
FDR: “…(y)ou have nothing to fear but fear itself…”
Senator Pat Roberts (R-Ks): “If you’re dead you don’t have any civil rights.”
What a treasonous-sounding F**king coward; this is now representative of Republican public policy, and these quotes distinguishing TRUR patriots from the PHONY Republican patriots should be engraved on the walls of the Senate Chamber as a constant reminder of how badly Republicans lead, and to keep their cowardice forever on public display.
This was a good idea from Christy. Everyone should do it!
