  1. Jesus Christ God of WAR says:

What’s the BugMan so affraid of that he needs a concealed weapon?

  2. Anti Warhol says:

He needs it to shoot old men in the face.

  3. Sister Boogie Woman says:

    Or shoot himself.

  4. ShamRockNRoll says:

That’s probably what he wants it for… swallowing a bullet would probably be more enjoyable to him than swallowing the fact that the country finally knows what scumbags he and most republicans are. I can’t wait until that bastard rots in jail.

  5. Democrat Soldier says:

    #2 – No, that’s VPres. Cheney’s job.

Rep. DeLay just wants it so he can fell like a “big man”.

You know how those “chicken-hawk” politicians have to have something cold and hard pressed up against their waist in order to feel masculine.

  6. Solitaire says:

Let’s see. He is charged with a couple of felonies. Texas law is specific. He didn’t even bother to show for the first hearing on the matter. But of course, he’s so special, he doesn’t need to follow laws, ask courts, or even show up for the debate.
My guess is that he’s already carrying the gun.
Why would a guy who displays such disdain for law obey it? He won’t start playing by the rules until his boyfriend smacks him around in the cell a little bit. Then he’ll understand his role in life a little better, eh?

  7. Zookeeper says:

#5 – That’s just plain icky, Dem Soldier.

  8. Krazny says:

even if delay is convicted, I don’t think he will be, not because the charges are not true, but because he is Tom Delay. Even if he is convicted Bush will most likely pardon him, and he will serve no jail time.

  9. Sister Boogie Woman says:

#6 — If only! Now that would be justice!

  10. Desi says:

Not just DeLay, but the author of the Texas law that revokes the permit to concealed carry is attempting to do away with his own law to help DeLay get his gun back!

  11. KillCon 2006 says:

Give him his gun back. Maybe he wants to take the cowards way out and eat some lead.

  12. kindness says:

Is it true that the size of his “gun” is indirectly proportional to the size of his “weapon”?

If so, I’ll bet he’s packing a 44 long barrel.

  13. Mark says:

FOllowing the Same MO, we have a law here, oops, it applies to us, lets change the law.

  14. bushllit says:

he can still carry a gun, he just can’t conceal it….wtf is this guy bitching about…he doesn’t have a leg to stand on!

  15. James says:

I hear they are looking for a few under cover policemen in Baghdad. Hire him. Let him carry his gun, concealed if he chooses. Either way, he’ll be chum Delay.

  16. Sharon Cox says:

Kindness, that’s way to funny. He isn’t capable of carring a 44 mag long barell, take my word for it. Super black hawks are heavy equipment. Great to shoot and a good cannon to practice with but consealing them is impossible. No, would bet he has a tiny snub nosed 22. Maybe one of those little ladies guns of old. Ha Ha! Give him his p shooter back and then we can hope he will save some tax payer’s money on the trial issue…….Blessings

  17. kindness says:

    Agreed Sharon,

I have a 8″ Red Hawk that I target shoot with. I don’t reload & 44 ammo is kinda pricey. So mostly I plink with 22’s. I wish I had gotten the Super though….way better handle. The old west style on mine will dig into your palm after a while.

I wonder how many threats someone like Tom DeLay gets? He’ll get villified here all the time, but I doubt very much that any of us would actually want to go out and harm him any worse than picketing or voting against the bastard.

    Maybe it’s a Texas thing….

  18. Begonia Buzzkill says:

DeLay ranted and ranted about judges should be impeached for NOT following the “letter of the law”.

So…when the “letter of the law” LAW. . . catches up to DeLay (again and again) this time, regarding his “loving him some guns” …. he appeals a Republican law to a Republican judge. Now, if said Republican judge DOES NOT FOLLOW the “letter of the law” then DeLay would need to insist on the impeachment of said Republican judge.

I think our nation’s right wing spinning and spinning is making us all overly nauseous but most of us so empty from FIVE YEARS of nausea we have nothing left to upchuck

  19. Lavender says:

    18.

Agreed. Dear lord I feel like I have been disgusted and disappointed daily for the past 5 years, nothing at all surprises me anymore.

  20. John the Elder says:

I would be in favor of giving lil Tommy his gun back on condition that I get to place it in that part of his anatomy where the sun doesn’t shine and pull the trigger as many times as there are bullets. What a disgusting excuse for a human being this “turd blossom” is.

  21. Solitaire says:

Maybe he wants to go hunting with Trigger Cheney. If so, I say let him! WHooopie!

  22. Culture of Disruption says:

    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2002895236_webmcdermott28.html

This will come in handy to strangle Maria Cantwell with. I told ya so. Next up will be exposing Corslime for the tax hiking crook that he is in NJ. I think Keane will put up a real fight.

The corruption ploy was a dumb move for Democrats. Everyone knows they are biggest liars in the country! Come on – Hillary, Gore, Kerry, and King Liar Bill. Thanks for playing!

  23. kindness says:

22 – you’re funny. You try to threadjack with what?

It couldn’t be that Newt and the rest of the Republican leadership in the House was caught discussing things they weren’t supposed to? That’s why the good Democrat let everyone know by playing the tape showing how they were all trying to cover Newt’s ass in not being charged by the House Ethic’s Committee. & the Republithugs lied to boot about it!

    dumb ass goosestepping republicans……

  24. Sharon Cox says:

Kindness, I sold my 44 mag in 96 and replased it with a small 357. The cost of ammo, even brass and weight to carry was no longer useful for me. I sold all my reloading equipment at the same time. I use 38’s instead of 357 shells, a little cheaper and hitting my mark is still good. I wouldent waste a bullett on a polatician or any one else, unless threatened, that’s letting them off easy. I want the criminals to suffer a long time ,in jail.. My hope is Delay will be a babe for a Bubba in the joint. Ha Ha.. Happy plinking….Blessings

  25. kindness says:

Yea, I’m just a plinker, but I do enjoy the challenge. I don’t hunt, but I’m not against hunting animals so long as the animals in question are abundant, not endangered, and you are gonna eat it, not mount it for a trophy. OK, mount the head (you can’t eat much of it), but eat the body.

  26. The Wrench says:

    Tom now has pea shooter!
