“…if we posted something that was easily identifiable, it could be a target.”
that could be – seems bush put that hex on a location (forgot) that was recently targetted soon after he mentioned it in a speech praising the good works there…
blame bush.
Kaloogian just rebutted his original talking point that Baghdad is safer than we believe by claiming the military fears retaliation if he posts on-the-ground images from the streets of Baghdad.
Bush is like the episode of Seinfeld when George does everything ‘opposite’ because everything he has done in his life is wrong. But for Bush he hasn’t figured out to do the opposite of what his gut tells him. I think he should do the OPPOSITE of what he is doing now, and take some responsiblity for his actions. You broke it… you own it George. It takes a big man to admit he made a mistake. Your not very big are you?
12- The Republicans in the House won’t impeach dear leader. We have to pray for a majority after the November elections. Then we will have supeona power.
Hell, all we have to do is get him under oath and we can impeach him for anything that comes out of his mouth. He hasn’t spoken a word of truth since he was drinking.
Come on polls, chimpy has to be at 29% by now…and sinking fast.
If…..chimpy is centured tomorrow, I will go out in the street and yell
YESSSSSSSSSS, while making a fist.
Faster, faster, like a whirling dervish spinning round
Faster, faster, until the Centre cannot Hold
~Here Comes The War
His excuse puts to lie Kaloogian’s original concept that Iraq is calm and stable. It’s pretty bad when you get caught in a lie so bad your only way out is to call yourself a liar.
EWM- (March 22, 2006) Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld flummoxed the Pentagon press corps and ignited a political firestorm today by blaming the dog pictured menacing an Iraqi prisoner in Abu Ghraib that led to handler Sgt. Michael J. Smith being convicted of prisoner abuse.
“I mean come on, look at that taut leash, the dog’s lunging posture, its snarling zeal. That dog is out of control. It’s something we don’t like to talk about, but the fact is you go to war with the dogs you have, not the dogs you wish you had…
All people who dare to critisise the PRESIDENT and GOD’s military men are not only unpatriotic, unamerican, unreligious, unchristian and unrepentent, but immoral.
Our brave fighting boys have never ended the life of a single man that God has not wished; we have removed several hundred terrorists, at GOD’s will. At no time have we killed innocents.
GOD asked the PRESIDENT to remove the satanic HOARDE from IRAQ and replace it with a Christian Democratic Government.

Everything they say is a lie.
Everything.
By the way, why don’t we all contribute $25 to Francine Busby’s campaign? I’m a little disappointed that her local TV ads are so middle-of-the-road (”let’s stop corruption in Washington by both parties” . . . HUH?!) but she hits all the right notes when interviewed. She would be a great replacement for that scumbag Cunningham.
#23, I support the troops (fellow patriots all)….it’s the lying, self-serving, “God is on my side-we can do no wrong” bast*rds I can’t tolerate, whose collective reasoning on life-endangering issues has slipped so far away from reality that it makes me want to puke. A true patriot should question a president who so blatently wipes his *ss with the constitution of the United States.

I would have said #23 was sarcasm, because as such, it’s hillarious.
Unfortunately, I think I’d seen Real American’s posts previously. It it’s the same person, he’s a wack job. So I’m not sure what to make of it other than….dumbshit if you mean it, funny if you didn’t.
#29 – Actually, I’ve started my preemptive “get out of my country” argument.
The “other side” is more than eager to use this as a talking point, as if they own the country and they don’t. This country belongs to everyone who lives in it, and it’s not a single-point-of-view place to live. If you don’t like that particular fact, then maybe it’s time to move somewhere else.
I don’t plan on always using that statement, only when I feel it’s appropriate. With so-called “real American”, it’s more than appropriate, it’s justified to throw that in his/her face.
Wanted to give you the heads up re: HR4437’s implications for imprisoning illegal immigrants as felons. Halliburton was granted a contract in January, 2006 for “establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”
All people who dare to critisise the Jihad and Allah’s holy warriors are not only apostates, heretics, lapdogs of the Crusaders, unislamic but immoral in the sight of Allah.
Our brave fighting martyrs have never ended the life of a single Crusader that Allah has not wished; we have removed several hundred Crusdaers, at Allah’s will. At no time have we killed innocents.
Allah asked the Jihadis to remove the satanic Crusaders from IRAQ and replace it with an Ismalic Sharia Government.
Hey, Real American #23, stop stealing the holy material of the holy Jihad….may the fleas of a thousand camels infect your mother’s crotch.
Since Think Progress is in possession of this information, the question then becomes why haven’t any of our intrepid and resourceful journalists also been made aware of these facts so they could have shown McClellan that he has been less than forthcoming with the truth?
Hoo BoY. Are those Neo-COns Buck passers or What?

Tell me another lie – maybe I will believe the next one.
Want a REAL excuse: The Violence in Iraq isn’t because we invaded. Heck no! Bush says it is because Saddam was a meany way back when.

March 31st, 2006 at 1:49 amTo be more specific, it wasn’t the military, it was the military dogs!
The Canine Conspiracy
EWM- (March 22, 2006) Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld flummoxed the Pentagon press corps and ignited a political firestorm today by blaming the dog pictured menacing an Iraqi prisoner in Abu Ghraib that led to handler Sgt. Michael J. Smith being convicted of prisoner abuse.

March 31st, 2006 at 8:50 am#23 – I spent four years in the army to uphold the ENTIRE Constitution. That includes the first amendment.
My free speech is “I think Pres. Bush is a whore for special interests, and going to war for oil is a failure of his oath.”
Now, what part of the Constitution have YOU spent time upholding?
So much for you being a so-called “real American”. Why don’t you just leave my country since you don’t seem to care about the Constitution?
March 31st, 2006 at 9:02 am#23 – Don’t forget, the ORIGINAL reason for going to war in Iraq was all those WMD’s that he had proof existed there.
Since they didn’t find a single one, the “reason” has changed more times than the House and Senate have changed majority party.
How does flip-flopping Pres. Bush deserve anything other than our scorn?
