April 1st, 2006 at 12:39 amThis email was originally written for someone else but now it’s rehash to suit Michael Savage’s pea-sized universe:
Whether Michael Savage believes he’s enlightened or is in it for personal gain he had successfully manipulated those who are opposed to civil rights and the American way. In other words, Savage is the very antitheses of personal liberty and goes out of his way to get Americans to believe against their own self interests. That’s why in the last 5 years Americans have voted against their own self interests and the very premise of logic.
What follows is Savage’s and his ilk of writers’ participation in manipulation and exploitation: Preeminence of the White race at the expense of all Americans–including Whites. And it starts with the basic premise that their (White America) sense of history and self-worth has come under question. To them this is unacceptable–at any and all cost; which is what’s happening at this moment. Realistically, all this began to manifest when Ronald Reagan was elected as president. But in all honestly, I believe it really started with the Vietnam War and its shocking and unacceptable conclusion: we lost; Savage is quick to exploit this. And it wasn’t just the war we lost–we also lost our president, Richard Nixon.
This sent a shock wave, border to border and coast to coast of White America. This proved that the war was a phony and President Nixon a liar, and a great opportunity for Savage. This forced Americans to question the very core of their moral foundation and their sense of purpose–their purpose of self-righteous, which they believe is their destiny and guided by the Light from above.
All this imploded when Nixon tanked. Savage pulls all the stops on this one to make sure it’s not “our” fault but “theirs.” Within a couple of years afterward a new and up coming Right Wing movement (the neo-conservatives) went to work, scoring one victory after another in their religious sectors, in their communities, in their state government. Savage was right behind them in support. And I believe all this was spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation. The Foundation’s tactics: Accuse the liberals of anti-family, anti-God, anti-America, anti-mother, anti-marriage, anti-fetus and in short: anti-liberal all around. With the help of the “liberal” media (and Savage’s) they made the word liberal an expletive (remember the “L” word?).
All this was funded by the multi-right wing millionaires and corporations. And I believe Savage know who and what they are. What this movement accomplishes was to exonerate America of its failures, and blame “The Fall” on the dirty, rotten, and back-stabbing liberals. Savage made sure of this in his books and radio spots. And Americans went for it, hook, line, and sinker. They had no choice: To accept otherwise, they would have to question their entire “white” history. Without this history–or myth–they will have to accept a more realistic one, according to Ward Churchill. White Americans found that to be totally unacceptable. And for these Americans they were ready to accept any politician, any judge, and any president–any author–that’ll tell them what they wanted to hear, especially when Jesus Christ is now considered as part of their American history. Savage couldn’t have been happier.
That’s why these Americans are more than ready to believe such phonies as Reagan, the first Bush, and this latest disgrace, Bush, Jr. But with these Americans, it gets worse: they are willing to sacrifice their children’s and their grandchildren’s future, just so they can either be swept up by the Rapture in time or die in their sleep; the complete misery of others had become their sinful and foremost pleasure–and those of Savage’s as well.
To me these are the worst and the most rotten cowards any nation unfortunately is straddled with; stinking vermin who aren’t fit to be scurrying about. Again, I have Michael Savage and his ilk to blame for this. These American voters’ malicious intentions toward Social Security, Medicare, pensions, childcare, the Iraq War and the support for the bankruptcy bill are but short examples of how far they have sunk.
The talk I hear is that these Americans are the dumbest pile of rocks on the planet. Wrong: It’s worse. Sept. 11 and the Iraq War only provide further excuses for these self-proclaimed “patriots” to stab their fellow neighbors in the back by trying to dismantle our civil rights–and are the first to turn against our war heroes like John McCain, John Murtha and Max Cleland in a second; a knife behind the door.
Because of Savage’s input all this had become acceptable, to further justifies the degradation to our veterans, the hacking away at their medical and financial benefits while allowing fantastic tax breaks go to the rich and corporate America who wouldn’t lift a finger to help our veterans or our nation.
Savage paints a picture of “true” American self-reliance and self-assurance with his typewriter but it’s all Orwellian to the core. So, for these pro-veteran and pro-morality Americans to believe in this new White Direction, provided by the ultra-extreme Republicans and Savage’s worldview, it all proves that they have gone soft between the ears and soft between the legs. In short, STARK, RAVING PSYHOCITICS, not stupid. It’s important to understand this. This is the very core why they can’t or won’t be reached. For any animal can be “educated”–even a flatworm. And that is the answer of why these Americans are voting against their own self-interest as they are steering yours, mine, and theirs–and our country–down into the toilet. I will say that all this isn’t entirely Michael Savage’s creation but he’s one in many who had made it possible. It has been one heck of a sled ride for Michael Savage and its still is.

This illegal immigration thing cannot be solved by congress at this time.
This is a failure of the president to effectively negotiate with the head of another state (Mexico). This is just another failure of the shrub who can do nothing except joke about his failures. He has no accomplishments at all and is seen throught the world as a useless braggart who answers everything with a smirk.
The shrub spent two and a half days in Mexico, and met with Fox for a total of about 2 hours and was back at his ranch on another vacation less than 24 hours after the THREE day conference had begun.
I dont know what the answer is, but I do know that adding 11 million to the work force in the US is not the answer to the problem. That can only depress our economy even further. The dollars fleeing America at this time amount to billions a year, add another 11 million people working and sending money back to Mexico and you have created a Mexican economy whose strength has been built solely on the dollar. Thi is what Fox has intended these past 6 years.
Has Bush done anything about it? Not no, but HELL NO! He cannot negotiate his way out of a wet paper sack.
The failure of NAFTA is clearly evident here. Because the tenets of NAFTA were not followed, or enforced, this is now a serious, serious problem.
Because we have a weak, do nothing, know nothing president, this situation will not be resolved for years to come.
April 1st, 2006 at 11:03 amYesterday, it was proposed that we use prison in California as labor in the fields to do the work of the to-be-arrested illegal immigrants. Let’s play this through… illegal immigrant comes here to work on farms, gets arrested while living in substandard conditions, thrown in the big house with 3 squares and a bed and roommate, and gets bussed to work each day, probably for fewer hours than an exploited illegal. I guess they’ll also be jailing the wife and kids, too, so his family is covered. They better make one heck of a big wall.

Well, I would like to think so, but again, I value the First Amendment. And really, anyone who burns a flag is being juvenile, or is in serious pain. Either way, I can’t see punishing them any further.

The country was founded on freedom of religion and separation of church and state. Mixing a religion and the elements necessary to run a government are a deadly combination, which has been proven time and time again to be far from fair and just.
It’s why we shouldn’t be pledging allegiance to flags – makes them too sentimental
Humans in general need something to rally behind. Rather it’s a flag, a bible, a dream of the world living in a hippy commune (Had to throw yours in for ya :), a sports team or a cause. It only makes sense for countries to have something for their citizens to feel pride in.

I have two cats. The can’t drive to the store to get their own carnivorous repasts, so alfalfa sprouts are not required. And, the cannibus would be missing. If I don’t eat dead cow, I’ll hardly smoke something cultivated with its feces…

I like to know why someone believes in something, not just that they agree/disagree. Otherwise threads are all yes and no (Sort of like polls) Without discussion it gets boring.
So how’d you become a Druid?
Well, I guess by searching for answers to questions I don’t know the answer to. I figure if people can believe in a specific god creating everything in a week (then deciding not to make another appearance), it’s not so far fetched (And makes more sense to me) that the earth itself did it. While there is no one guiding force, it is nature itself doing it.
Keep in mind I am a Vet and love this country and what it stands for (The separation part there).

What is there that cannot be taken away besides ideals? since we will never have everyone agree to the same ideals or visions of what the world should be, there has to be some designation of what side you are on. Burning the other sides emblem etc, only shows that you are not willing to work with them and compromise. It demonstrates a hate for everything they stand for. It also is pretty much a declaration of war.

Skyline High School Principal Tom Stumpf said American flags were brazenly waved in the faces of Hispanic students and in one case a Mexican flag was thrown into the face of another student.
On the temporary ban on ALL flags at the high school, the principal shows the kind of weak reasoning common to liberal Americans:
“”When it involves the American flag and its abuse in vilifying other people, we simply will not tolerate it,” Stumpf said. “They were using the symbol derisively as misguided patriotism.”
Shame on that principal for having the nerve to object to the use of our national symbol in the persecution of the innocent. Brownshirts, not Brown people. America MUST be saved from the persecution of tolerance.

burn the UN flag first, deny its authority by international treaty, abandon all UN missions, send everybody home to their respective countries. Let each country seek diplomatic relations with any other country that they choose.
Get back to peaceful, civil commerce, goodwill among nations, and forget about all of this militant competition for the world’s resources by use of force.

The only way to correct this situation is for Mexico to stand on its own two feet. Mexico has an abundance of resources, and yet they are wasted on the elite of that country.
You talk about how Americans are blind to their country – Mexico’s government does little for the people except argue with the American to let their poor go to the US. Look for yourselves as to what Mexico does to those from Central and South American trying to cross their southern border.
Look at the rights Americans have to buy property or get emergency health care is Mexico. They don’t exist.

Corporations love illegal immigration because it increases their bottom line, it subverts progressive attempts to create a LIVING WAGE and rights to health care, and it creates a society where (if unchecked) we will have two economic classes, the truly greedy, and the truly needy.
ILLEGAL ALIENS are the life-blood of corporate control over the American low-wage worker and progressive activists and as such, MUST BE STOPPED. This includes DEPORTATIONS, Property confiscations from BOTH corporations and illegal aliens caught in the act of undermining America (and it’s poorest residents), strict border enforcement including physical barriers and fences and a return of Americans into the workforce by removing unnecessary Government regulations that force companies to hire ILLEGAL ALIENS.
For instance: 1. COLLECTIVE WORK IS A GREAT SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL CHANGER.
Prison inmates could handle agriculture work. We have almost 2 million prisoners in America as well as many millions more whose cases are reduced to probation or dropped due to lack of space. Truth be told, most inmates are non-violent drug offenders serving discriminatory sentences. If given the option of 50% time credits and $3-4 per hour to pick crops, most inmates would take it. It’s obvious why, if your serving 20 years for drug sales and can be guaranteed release in 10 plus leave prison with 10 years worth of wages, you can be back with your family with enough money to start your life over with. PUT PRISONERS and DIVERT SENTENCES FROM PRISON to the agricultural fields of America.
2. INNER CITY TEENS NEED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES so we need to allow them to work in restaurants, landscaping, and more. This would help impoverished inner-city homes.
3. Guest workers should be hired ONLY AFTER ALL AMERICANS who can work, ARE WORKING. They should BE GUESTS ONLY, not SETTLERS, and they should be allowed from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Russia and Eastern Europe, etc.
4. WE”VE ALWAYS HAD IMMIGRATION QOUTAS. This ALSO applies to Mexicans and Latinos. They have MORE THAN REACHED their qouta. My people, the Irish we’re capped at 20 million or so immigrants, same with Italians, Jews, etc. Latino IMMIGRATION must end and new nations allowed to settle folks, including AFRICAN nations where poverty is far worse than Mexico.
In conclusion, because of Mexico’s Govt. being behind this invasion of America, it is perfectly fine to BURN THE MEXICAN FLAG. It’s no different than burning the American flag over the war in Irag.
