Seems like many liberal haters here are just searching for an oportuunity to further divide our country. But in the end, with all the luke-warm candidates : Hillary, Obama, Edwards, lol Gore, none of this matters.

As Guilianni will win in 2008, once again the Demos just fight amongst themselves, and cannot agree on anything, heck Obama and Hillary have already started the Enquirer mud-slinging. Seems to me that Obama and Hillary are very good at being "politicians" without experinece.

Demos have no chance in 2008.

[...] Are you kidding? McCain has superb acting skills. Didn’t you see his bit part shaking Christopher Walken’s hand in Wedding Crashers? What about his hosting of NBC’s Saturday Night Live and many appearances on Meet the Press? Now, that’s acting. As the article illustrates numerous times, McCain has a storied history of flip-flopping. One such incident appears below. (Read more here.) Six years ago, McCain was livid when Sam and Charles Wyly, a pair of Texas businessmen friendly with the Bush campaign, spent $2.5 million on a nominally independent advertising effort attacking McCain. He called them “Wyly coyotes,” and implored an audience in Boston to “tell them to keep their dirty money in the state of Texas.” This time, McCain accepted money from the Wylys.
[...] What in the Hell is John McCain thinking? The best thing McCain had going for him was his outsider, independent persona that endeared him to both moderate Republicans and moderate Democrats — a winning strategy if you ask me. But then he goes and buddy-buddies up with Jerry Falwell, and now he makes one of the Democratic Party’s most despised enemies in decades his honorary campaign Chair? Hell, he might as well pick Ahmed Chalabi as his running mate and call the War on Terror and resounding success. Filed under: Presidential race, National Politics, Republicans, John McCain | [...]

One can tell by the abusive terms and
language that most of these responses
are from the left-wing liberals. The off-color adjectives, etc., are SOP for that
ideological group. Civil discourse and
disagreement on issues is not their calling
card. Epithets are. Consider the source.

I USED to respect McCain-even if he WAS a very conservative republican. At least he was a good man,one that I didn't believe would kiss up to liars.I really lost respect for him after he allowed Bush to kiss him-a man that he can't stand, who called him and his wife infit,et,etc. But this? It's over for McCain,as far as my respect goes. He'll kiss up to whoever it takes to win, making him no better than any of the fake" Christian consevatives",who are neither Christian nor conservative.Just power hungry thieves.

[...] But oh how a short six years can change a man. McCain, who once referred to bible-thumpers Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson as “agents of intolerance”, now is speaking at Falwell’s Liberty University. With no explanation, Falwell is no longer an agent of intolerance. Interestingly enough, Falwell has not changed very much over the span of his career, much less in the past six years. So if he didn’t change… [...]

Don't you guys get it? McCain is the only one smart enough to beat the Right Wing Republicans at their own game. All he did at Liberty was remind those kids that we have a right to disagree. He is a gentleman. He is respectful of all humans beings, even if they are radical right wingers because he values human life-and because he is not going to let what happened before happen again. He will not let those right wingers take him down. This time it's for real. He will win in 2008 and he will restore America and our reputation around the world. He believes in the Founding Father's ideas. He will carry them on. I for one believe in him and I have been a Democrat all my life. But the Democrats are spineless wimps. I thought they needed to learn how to play dirty like the republicans. Now I realize all we need to do is act like McCain and treat everyone with respect, and agree to disagree-so that we can win the GD election 2008!! Amen!!

Call Hagee a nut as much as you want he is preaching for a reason and that is to save souls, I know that your atheist views make you feel strong and powerful but in reality GOD does exist and with the world he is not pleased.... how do you explain the sudden rush of chaos in the world, war, hurricane katrina, september 11, asian tsunami, avain flu you name it? how do you explain creation? humans are far to complicated to be explained by some scientific idea of first evolving from a molecule into protista, into something else, into something else, eventually into humans think about it... we walk, talk, invent, think etc. we are far to complicated to have ever been simply a molecule on an earth created by simply a big bang out of nowhere ps. if there was a big bang where did the materials to create the big bang come from and where did everything before that come from. (mark my words you will see things get worse and worse the someone will come and bring "peace" you may brush this off as craziness but GOD himself, your creator has put it on my heart to tell you he is the Antichrist, here is knowledge no matter how good he may seem do not take his mark on your right hand or forehead your soul will be condemned to hell his number is 666.

please listen it is of utter importance I myself am a Ph.D in cardiology with an Iq of 170 and I am far from a nutcase, some of the things that I have seen in my lifetime have simply solidified my love for GOD...

[...] I caught a bit of the Daily Show last night in which Jon Stewart was interviewing John McCain, who is looking more and more like the Republican candidate for President in 2008. Stewart went on the attack and McCain stood up for himself fabulously. Backstory: McCain recently agreed to give a commencement address at Jerry Falwell’s Orwellianly named Liberty College. This has been seen by many Democrats and liberals as a failure of McCain’s character as measured by the company one keeps, similar to Ronald Reagan’s call for “state’s rights” near the site of a notorious lynching or George W. Bush launching his 2000 campaign at the racial purist Bob Jones University. Magnifying the scandal, McCain retracted his 2000 statement that Falwell was an “agent of intolerance”.
Please explain, using your definition, of the formerly pro-life Dems who are now “pro-choice” i.e. Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Dick Durbin). These are evolved views because…..they say they wouldn’t kill their own unborn? - but it’s OK for others??

Mighty Hypocrite,
There is nothing strange or hypocritical about politicians who don't believe in abortion for their own family also taking a pro-choice position. I read in the "NY Times Magazine," for example, how Justice Anthony Kennedy was planning to write an anti-abortion decision, but in the process of studying the laws and considering the matter, ended up with a pro-choice stance. Moreover, I believe Dick Durbin is Catholic, like John Kerry, so their religion forbids abortion, yet they don't believe in forcing their own religous beliefs on others. Religious tolerance and freedom are what the USA was founded on.
By contrast, as reported here recently, the Rev. Foulsmell still believes that Jews who don't convert to Christianity will not be saved when the supposed Rapture comes. That sounds like religious intolerance to me. And it's a bit strange for you to defend this bigot if you really have a Jewish mother and, presumably, relatives.
Ps. Hope you enjoyed your cold day at the beach.

Russert's one-two punch...

I've been critical of MTP's Tim Russert in the past. He has a tendency of being way too soft on the GOP. But maybe getting fingered as the guy who "really" outed Valerie Plame (by Karl Rove) has lit a fire under him....
