Of course, it’s only to be expected that our resident armchair warrior/chickenhawk , I-WRONG-I, would attack Zinni or any other person with bonafide military experience who criticizes his fellow chickenhawks AWOL-even from the “champagne unit of the National Guard Dumbya and 5-deferment Dickhead.
Incidentally, it’s easy enough to find out that Zinni is of Italian descent; the name doesn’t sound at all French to me. And in what is supposed to be a melting pot nation, such ethnic/national background shouldn’t mean of anything in the first place.

A real President and Fearless Leader of our armed forces listens to every credible source and makes a decision. You insist that he didn’t give Norman’s opinions their proper weight and do what the Filthy Left has always wanted to do about Saddam, Iraq and the Middle East…which is nothing. Storm’n Norman may be quite a commander himself, a hell of a warrior but that doesn’t make him the last word on the War in Iraq or a capable tactical in Realpolitik.

Like Zinni, Norman was wrong in 2003 to suggest that we should wait for the “allies” (who were stabbing us in the back at the time) to form a coalition. Basically Norm and Zinni were quite prepared to let Germany, France, Russia and Red China dictate our foreign policy and military strategy. It never crossed his mind that they would put their own economic considerations ahead of international security. My guess is Norman would not say the same things now that he did in 2003 but as we can see even with the benefit of hindsight Zinni would. Zinni the ninny. Zinni the jew hating left wing fucktstick. Zinni the would be running mate for the failed presidential bid of John Kerry, another left wing fuctard and traitor to his country.

I repeat, the article you quote is from 2003 and a lot has happened in the past three years to prove their insight wrong and Bush & Co right. I’d say Bush was correct in listening to his own advisors and not retired army generals who are on the liberal cocktail party circuit or looking for campaign contributions.

Second, answer this question – is General Norman Schwarzkopf a “traitor?”

Schwarzkopf said this in early 2003. Essentailly the same thing Zinni is saying now. So is Schwarzkopf a “traitor” too?

Question #3 – You have a respected and battle tested general bluntly stating in this article that Rumsfeld is ” overly enamored of air power and high technology and insufficiently attentive to the brutal difficulties of ground combat. ”

Why do you continue to support G.W. Bush when he clearly ignored crystal clear, spot on advice from a respected general who is also a loyal member of his own party?

A real Commander in Chief would have done the proper thing and – at a minimum – respected Schwarzkopf’s insight and reigned Rumsfeld in, or more optimally – kicked Rumsfeld to the curb.

“Wrong-Always-Wrong,” we know that deep down inside you really don’t care about any of this stuff. You’re the type of guy who likes throwing a beer bottle into a crowd of people before dashing to your car and speeding away.

But if I am wrong about what I just said – put your life where your mouth is. The 501st Special Troops Battalion, 101st Airborne Division recently lost a man. Contact the recruitment office in Pikeville, KY and tell them that you want to take that man’s place. I look forward to you proving Generals Zinni and Schwarzkopf wrong about Iraq all by yourself.

There was only the noblest of intentions: To stop a famine which had killed hundreds of thousands of people, and to try to help tens of thousands who were in danger of dying. There was no material or strategic gain in it at all for the US.
