“[T]he US wants to take control of the Earth’s electromagnetic spectrum, allowing US war planners to dominate mobile phones, PDAs, the web, radio, TV and other forms of modern communication. That could see entire countries denied access to telecommunications at the flick of a switch by America,” the Sunday Herald reports.

April 3rd, 2006 at 2:33 pmYou guys haven’t been reading my blogs! I’ve predicted the on set of Big Brother and thousand times and he is peeking around the corner now. Can you say police state? I’ve said for years the good ole US of A is going to turn into a police state controlled by one party. You can see the republicans trying to seize power by their red state strategy. If you hadn’t noticed Fox News is the pravda of the new world order. They follow the party line without question and find a way to twist the truth so they can manipulate the public on behalf of the party. Remember the saying, “Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it”. Well we are there except we are becoming what we fought to oppose for over 50 years. Holding people without charge or trial for extended period of time. Spying on citizens without a authorized warrant for no apparent violation of law. Calling on citizens to harm judges that they don’t agree with politically. Calling for the use of military tribunals to try civilians with whom the government was a dispute. Lying to the citizens about a threat that does not exist and making them afraid of other races and countries. Using government agents to break into you home without you knowledge.
If all of this seems familiar to you, I’m not just talking about our current government’s policies. They were also the policies of the Soviet Union if you are old enough to remember. If you aren’t check it out and you’ll see we are currently doing the same things we opposed during the so called, “Cold War” Every republican in Washington, DC claims to be Ronald Reagan, but the truth of the matter is that he is turning over in his grave after seeing what they are doing.

The ‘Contract on America’ devolves into the ‘War on America’. Really, I think this is more for our ‘benefit’ than the world’s. The Republican War Department sees us as the enemy and they need to take over the one part of our media that they do not control.
That said, how do they go about testing this? What are they chances that once they flip the switch, they can unflip it? I see this as a prelude back to the Dark Ages. Once the lights go out, they aren’t coming back on.

Maybe there is a different way of looking at it, I bet no one thinks today about the roads they drive on and why we have them today, specifically the interstate system, thanks to Eisenhower. The Interestate system (and STRAHNET) was constructed for military and defense reasons. And it has worked out pretty well for commerce, and our way of life.

Aren’t we confused already? Isn’t that the job of Fox, and maybe even the Evangelicals are okay with it. Isn’t that how this administration took us to war with Iraq, and trusted sources like even the NYT were complacent.
All journalism, written words, will become propaganda? Well I definitely think I’m over paying for cable TV then. I suppose that Jeff Gannon and those fake Health and Human Services news reports were just the start. This just sounds like the antithesis of Democracy and freedom – everything is lies and you’ll be free to believe those lies or not believe those lies. How do you make any type of decision, when everything maybe lies. How will this work out in a Democracy where we need transparency and truth to make educated decisions. Will the Pentagon control stock markets? So ones 40 years worth of retirement in their defined-contribution retirement plan is wiped out compliments of the Pentagon? How about elections. Does that mean the Pentagon could control the outcome of our “free” elections?
There are a lot of engineers graduating in Europe and Asia, not too mention the amount of outsourcing we do of our knowledge systems. Pretty soon they’ll know more about running our country than we do.

I think the 9/11 hijackers proved it doesn’t take a high-tech solution; heck poor imigrates prove everyday we have low-tech holes. PNAC wants world domination, and they are going to use us to get it. Icks! McDonalds and Walmart for everyone.
Since the politicians in this country are nothing more than brokers for corporations and special interests what do you expect from them. That all of a sudden they will turn over a new leaf and decide that the constitution and the bill of rights actually mean something? Do you really think they care about your privacy or anything else that may involve that sticky little thorn in their side called individual freedom? And now the Pentagon wants to control the internet. You know what? They probably will because we let this administration do everything else it wants to so why won’t they try to do this ridiculous thing?
Maybe the great reporter Katie Couric or someone like Chris Matthews will tell America what a travesty this is. Don’t hold your breath!
This powermad, crazed administration is doing nothing but laying a big shit bag on everyone’s porch and making us accept it. We can finally fight back or plan a mass exodus to Brazil or Argentina. Hell, I believe even Russia has more freedom than we will in the next few years! This fascist takeover of OUR country has to stop!

The United States of America has now officially become the United Corperations of America, and the Corperations don’t like what they see in the blogs fact checking the media’s bullshit. Look at the enviromental issues places like this bring up, the oil lobby is not exactly charmed.
The strange thing is, America used to stand for something. It used to stand for something via leading by example, a idealogy which was lost and found all throughout its history, and finally destroyed by the current Republican government. The power of the states has been eliminated by laziness, stupidity and outright corruption, as your senators and congressmen don’t even bother to read the laws they pass. You can bet the lobbyists do though, and they make sure it is all to big bussinesses benefit.
I mean look at Iraq, that wasn’t a war, that was a military trade fair. You even had product placement for Coke all over the place. The only thing that surprised me was that they didn’t have big Nike ticks painted on the sides of the tanks. It wasn’t for America’s benefit, it was for the American Corperations’ benefit. Hell even the fast food lobby got involved in the war.
Right now, you need to take back your country before the Pentagon commits to this strategy right here. They have not thought of the implications of what they are proposing, and you do not want to face the shitstorm that will hit the first time a neutral or allied country uncovers them messing with their internal communications. This would qualify as an act of war on humanity, and you do not want that.
Take back your country by going and finding out about the issues each parties stands for. Find out who you agree with, and vote based on that, not on party allegiance or values or the need to unite against a common enemy. Do not buy into this stupid lie, that is that America only has 2 parties worth voting for. Those 2 parties, have mostly (with a very few exceptions) been bought, vote for someone who hasn’t.
