So to me, it might be customary to give a polite sendoff to he who is embroiled in controversy and has chosen to do the right thing. It’s a little long in coming, but it’s good it happened. However, saving the ship is the new question as DeLay becomes old business. The REAL problem isn’t yesterday, it’s really all about what does the future bring? What’s on the horizon with regard to corruption, Indictments and all that jazz? According to my niece who works for the hospital- it’s much worse than the article describes. She says- “Very few people coming into the hospital have health insurance- most have waited far too long before seeking medical attention. Often far too late for effective medical treatment- especially cancer related.”

Also- My sisters doctor (Detroit “wealthy”suburb) just laid off 3 of her personnel because of lack of patients. I’d be willing to bet this is a nation-wide experience.
