isn’t it gonna be difficult when your in sing sing? no doubt there’s an exterminator job just waiting for you, sooo, when your dance card isn’t all filled up with “big bubba love shuffle”, you’ll have time to lobby the laundry boy do put more starch in your shorts! baaahhaaawwahhbaahhwwhhaaa!!!!

  2. Zookeeper says:

“Maybe,” he said with a shit-eating grin.
Of course, said I, with a roll of my eyes.

  3. Zwack says:

I’m sure the Maybe is really…
“Well, I’ve got a good job as a lobbyist lined up assuming that I can avoid doing time.”

    Z.

  4. MagnumDB says:

ONLY ON FOX: Right now on Fox’s Dayside, the topic is “Which Political Party Is More Corrupt?”

Like there is actually a debate about this…

  5. Joe Sixpack says:

Hummm. Maybe he ought to start lobbying now. Like getting the government to furnish condoms to prison inmates. That way, he won’t have to worry about getting any of those sexually transmitted diseases down the road.

  6. katy says:

#4 magnum – ...Fox’s Dayside, the topic is “Which Political Party Is More Corrupt?”...
any idea what their conlusion will be? hmmmmmm…

  7. GURU says:

    Pass the Vitalis.

  8. dano347 says:

“If nobody in this House files an ethics charge, I am,” DeLay said in response to a question about McKinney. “Her behavior is outrageous. And it’s not the only time.”

    Let the snark begin!

  9. dano347 says:

Delay filing an ethics charge against McKinney is his way of saying to the electorate “and you won’t have Tom DeLay to kick around anymore!”

    Can felons be registered lobbyists?

  11. WaltTheMan says:

    #11 -
    Like Jack Abramoff?

  12. G.W.SuperChrist says:

Guys -We should all just let the Mckinney thing go away.

Talking about her is the republican way of getting the spotlight off of themselves and their corrupt and incompetent ways.

Next time a republican mentions mckinney – just respond with – Yes, Tom Delay is corrupt… or I agree, warrantless domestic wiretapping is against the law… or maybe You are correct, this is the most incompetent administration ever.

    Try it… Its Fun!

Not that legal technicalities ever stopped Delay, Abramoff, Scanlon, Rudy….

  14. kindness says:

Of course he’s getting on the money train. He’s already been the conductor. Now he’ll be in the first class car every time.

I think we should go after the corporations that hire him.

  15. Zookeeper says:

#13 – I’m going to do it, starting today. It should be fun!

  16. LC Liberal says:

Just like I might take a few breaths today. Maybe, if he doesn’t go to jail, he’ll buy Abramoff’s old D.C. restaraunt and a fedora.

Don’t current House rules prohibit Tommy Boy selling himself for fun and profit for a year after his “cut and run” exit from Congress? Or is there some handy-dandy loophole he plans to utilize? Nothing is beyond this felon-in-waiting.

  19. portly says:

“Mr Prison Guard, Sir, could i lobby you to put me in Solitayr for awhile? My “wide” here doesn’t like the noises i make at night…”

EXCELLENT IDEA … might i add, or insert, “next time ANY TROLL mentions ANY DIVERSION – respond accordingly…

if you don’t mind i may copy/paste that elsewhere and often…thanks!

  21. MSt says:

Of course he’ll become a lobbyist (that is if he escapes jailtime). I don’t know who he thinks he’s kidding with his “maybe” comment.

He’ll also become a FOX News analyst with the likes of Newt and Ollie. Disgusting.

  22. slacker george says:

Cyra, I think one of the lobbying reform bill increases the lobbying ban to two years. Even more reason for DeLay to ski-daddle immediately.

  23. Clif says:
