VIDEO: Bush Event Goes Off Script»

This morning in Charlotte, a Bush PR event on the war on terror went off-script when a man named Harry Taylor took the microphone. Watch the video:

“‘I feel like despite your rhetoric, that compassion and common sense have been left far behind during your administration,’ Taylor said, standing in a balcony seat and looking down at Bush on stage. ‘And I would hope from time to time that you have the humility and grace to be ashamed of yourself.’”

Harry Taylor

Read below for the full exchange:

Q You never stop talking about freedom, and I appreciate that. But while I listen to you talk about freedom, I see you assert your right to tap my telephone, to arrest me and hold me without charges, to try to preclude me from breathing clean air and drinking clean water and eating safe food. If I were a woman, you’d like to restrict my opportunity to make a choice and decision about whether I can abort a pregnancy on my own behalf. You are –

THE PRESIDENT: I’m not your favorite guy. Go ahead. (Laughter and applause.) Go on, what’s your question?

Q Okay, I don’t have a question. What I wanted to say to you is that I — in my lifetime, I have never felt more ashamed of, nor more frightened by my leadership in Washington, including the presidency, by the Senate, and –

    AUDIENCE MEMBERS: Booo!

THE PRESIDENT: No, wait a sec — let him speak.

Q And I would hope — I feel like despite your rhetoric, that compassion and common sense have been left far behind during your administration, and I would hope from time to time that you have the humility and the grace to be ashamed of yourself inside yourself. And I also want to say I really appreciate the courtesy of allowing me to speak what I’m saying to you right now. That is part of what this country is about.

THE PRESIDENT: It is, yes. (Applause.)

Q And I know that this doesn’t come welcome to most of the people in this room, but I do appreciate that.

    THE PRESIDENT: Appreciate –

Q I don’t have a question, but I just wanted to make that comment to you.

THE PRESIDENT: I appreciate it, thank you. Let me –

    Q Can I ask a question?

THE PRESIDENT: I’m going to start off with what you first said, if you don’t mind, you said that I tap your phones — I think that’s what you said. You tapped your phone — I tapped your phones. Yes. No, that’s right. Yes, no, let me finish.

I’d like to describe that decision I made about protecting this country. You can come to whatever conclusion you want. The conclusion is I’m not going to apologize for what I did on the terrorist surveillance program, and I’ll tell you why. We were accused in Washington, D.C. of not connecting the dots, that we didn’t do everything we could to protect you or others from the attack. And so I called in the people responsible for helping to protect the American people and the homeland. I said, is there anything more we could do.

And there — out of this national — NSA came the recommendation that it would make sense for us to listen to a call outside the country, inside the country from al Qaeda or suspected al Qaeda in order to have real-time information from which to possibly prevent an attack. I thought that made sense, so long as it was constitutional. Now, you may not agree with the constitutional assessment given to me by lawyers — and we’ve got plenty of them in Washington — but they made this assessment that it was constitutional for me to make that decision.

I then, sir, took that decision to members of the United States Congress from both political parties and briefed them on the decision that was made in order to protect the American people. And so members of both parties, both chambers, were fully aware of a program intended to know whether or not al Qaeda was calling in or calling out of the country. It seems like — to make sense, if we’re at war, we ought to be using tools necessary within the Constitution, on a very limited basis, a program that’s reviewed constantly to protect us.

Now, you and I have a different — of agreement on what is needed to be protected. But you said, would I apologize for that? The answer — answer is, absolutely not. (Applause.)

    1. pete Says:

Once again, Mr. Bush proves he is not listening. Mr. Taylor hoped that the President would feel ashamed, not that he would aplogize.

    2. dumbstruck Says:

Good ol’ North Carolina straight talk.

I hope Bush never sets foot in my home state again.

Yes, Harry Taylor is a hero.

    3. Ajay Says:

I wonder who these people are who were booing Harry Taylor. These guys have no shame or respect for laws. Its all about party politics.

    4. dumbstruck Says:

I’ll bet Harry gets audited by the IRS.

    5. Preznit Pinhead Says:

Bush has no way of experiencing shame. Sociopaths never do. As far as he’s concerned, he’s never made a mistake–nor will he ever make one. It’s always somebody else’s fault. Accountability is a completely alien concept to the spoiled brat that is our king.

    6. Jules Says:

This man is a great man. North Carolina is now my favorite state!

    7. Philly guy Says:

The scary thing is, poor harry was booed.

    8. Badmoodman Says:

…and then Harry Taylor disappeared from the face of the earth and was never seen again.

    9. Unholy Moses Says:

In other news, a man from Charlotte, N.C., was recently arrested and sent to GITMO. No other details were released …

    10. Aaron Says:

oh man is there VIDEO fo this?????

    11. Gregor Samsa Says:

Uh oh, someone made it past the screening process and background checks…

The only reason why Pres Bush can have open Q&A sessions is because his minions make sure the audience is filled with loyal Bush followers, and wouldn’t dare ask a challenging question.

Maybe Mr. Taylor is a disgruntled (former) Republican?

    12. Robert Crowley Says:

How can we find this man Harry Taylor, I want to take him out for one hell of a dinner and in fact many times. I wish I had the opportunity to ask the false President these kind of questions.

    13. dlet Says:

      Bravo, Mr. Taylor…well said.

    14. Zookeeper Says:

Harry Taylor, you are a great man. Your phone will be tapped from this day forward, you do realize that, don’t you? Keep speaking up!

Can we find out who and where this guy is? I want to send him flowers.

    15. lib4 Says:

I love how the media who NEVER EVER EVER EVER said a word about his SCRIPTED events…..now think its newsworthy to go on and on about his “unscrpited” events…

gee thanks Bush….you actually take one or two questions from non-ringers in the audience now…..

way to show that great leadership the Rethugs go on about….

      CHUMP in Chief…..

    16. Pat Says:

      Draft Harry Taylor for President!

    17. unbelievable Says:

      Comment by Gregor Samsa — April 6, 2006 @ 2:38 pm

I would hope there would have been more of those by now…

I mean, wouldn’t we stand up to crooked and corrupt Democrats? We do bash them when they cross the line, I’d like to think we’d do more if they really got out of hand like this. So, where are all the real conservatives? Aside from perhaps, Mr. Taylor. Kudos to him for his willingness to call The King on the carpet.

    18. Quisp Says:

Harry’s the man. He should have thrown “Miserable Failure” in there for good measure.

    19. RunningDogLackey Says:

      “Dear Mr. Taylor:

The Vice President of the United States Richard B. Cheney requests the pleasure of your company at an impromptu sunset quail hunt.

“Casual dress suggested. A spouse-surrogate will be provided. BYOB.

“RSVP with blood-type and HMO provider number.”

“Casual dress suggested. A spouse-surrogate will be provided. BYOB.

“RSVP with blood-type and HMO provider number.”

    21. Zookeeper Says:

I’m thinking Harry Taylor must have been a registered Repub, otherwise how would he have gotten in? They say these speeches are “unscripted,” but I’m pretty sure they are not “unscreened.”

    22. e_five Says:

I wonder what will become of Mr. Taylor. I’d expect an IRS audit, wiretapping, pressure on his employers to fire him, a trumped up terrorism charge, a trip to Gitmo, torture, and eventual death at the hands of a giggling Dick Cheney. That’s how these people operate.

    23. Gerald Gibson Says:

      /CHEER

No guts no glory… call him out to his face… let them booo in their guilt!

    24. Ajay Says:

Did you see the the woman on the right side of Harry? She is booing him. Amazing picture for her family. Good for her kids: ” I was booing someone who was calling a crook by his name. I am so smart. God bless America.”

    25. unbelievable Says:

Most of Bush’s response sounded scripted. It’s not like him to say more than four or five words without a stumble over his words or a series of stutters…

    26. Zookeeper Says:

Just saw that awsome picture. Get a look at the three women on the left side of the picture. Scandalized!

    27. Desi Says:

I don’t believe that this was an unplanned ‘event’ — I know exactly how difficult it is to be part of a Bush audience for exactly this reason. He does not take any questions/comments that aren’t scripted. Call me cynical, I’m just sayin’.

    28. Vance Says:

Mr. Taylor deserves a medal and the woman in the photo next to him should be clubbed to near death.

    29. crazy canuck Says:

Good for him for speaking up. I have nothing but respect for that guy.

She looks like a blow up doll…

    31. Wisco Says:

Man, do the people in the audience ever look annoyed. You’d think they didn’t know that most people have a problem with Bush.

      Crazy.

    32. JIMBO Says:

Two great people from North Carolina: Harry Taylor and my Mom. :)

    33. Southwest Bob Says:

This is how it starts…regular “normal” people stand up and ask the hard questions and make their dissatisfaction of prez bush known directly to him. His response was interesting…and he continues the lie of having “briefed members of congress.” In reality, select members of congress were informed and admonished not to say anything about it. Additionally, he neglects -still- to admit that post tapping permission is possible. What he doesn’t say is that his requests were being rejected at a high rate than any other administation.

    34. Chase Says:

Wonder how many people ask Kennedy is he is ashamed for killing Mary Jo Kopeckne?

    35. JIMBO Says:

Those ladies probably want a taste of Dubya’s juice.

    36. katy Says:

      AUTHENTIC ‘Muchos Huevos Grandes” !!!
      … the RESPECTABLE kind!

    37. Jules Says:

This man should run for office.

    38. JIMBO Says:

#20 P.S. Don’t forget to bring a hunting vest. Preferably in orange. Besides, Mr. Cheney won’t know the difference between a human and a quail unless you have an orange vest on. :)

    39. yellodog Says:

It should be obvious that these “impromptu” question and answer sessions are screened and scripted. If this were truly a non-partisan crowd, logic would dictate that the number of favorable / unfavorable questions from the crowd members chosen at random would approximate the popularity numbers of the president. While I agree with the sentiments of Mr. Taylor, I would prefer to see any personal issues about the president left out of the questions, as it gives his supporters something to rally around and allows the questioner to be dismissed as partisan.

    40. Desi Says:

“Wonder how many people ask Kennedy is he is ashamed for killing Mary Jo Kopeckne?”

Wonder how many ask Laura Bush is she ashamed for running down and killing her old boyfriend? Wonder how many ask Dick Cheney is he ashamed he shot his lawyer in the face?Wonder how many ask George Bush is he ashamed that an FBI agent asked over 70+ times for a warrant to gain access to the computer of one of the 9/11 terrorists and was denied right up until 9/10/01?

    41. Scott Says:

I’m surprised those mindless Bush followers didn’t all start pointing at Harry and start screaming…you know, just like at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

    42. Jules Says:

Jimbo that’s not very nice - he couldn’t tell the difference because he had his hunting glasses on!

    43. Preznit Pinhead Says:

When I look at Bush’s response, it does seem to be a case of “scripted dissent”. It sure looks like a setup. It was a lead up opportunity for him to wax poetically about his spying on U.S. citizens.

    44. joe cantwell Says:

please post any link to can find to a video of this brave man’s courageous act. harry taylor is a real american hero!

    45. Desi Says:

I had to quit at 3 questions when I realized I could go on all day there. All y’all will have to pick up any slack. Irritates me to no end when some twit shows up with crap about Kennedy from decades ago, after spending his entire life in service to the people of his state, and our nation. Go ahead and ask him if he’s sorry, and get over it. jeebus.

    46. SiriusA Says:

Not only did Taylor stand and deliver, but he did so eloquently and respectfully, even voicing appreciation of the fact that the President allowed him to say his peace. This is a fine example of protest. No slander, no name calling, no rhetoric — just one man’s opinion, beautifully stated. I will be curious how the right criticizes Mr. Taylor’s statement.

    47. GSD Says:

Wonder how many people ask Kennedy is he is ashamed for killing Mary Jo Kopeckne?

      Comment by Chase — April 6, 2006 @ 2:58 pm

Nothing like 30 year old news from apologists for Bush. I bet Chase is also a “Christian” who believes in forgiveness..forgiveness for everyone who is a Republican.

Same old tired shit. The same people who say that the Democrats should “move on” from talking about Dick Cheney when he shotgunned a 78 year old man in the face with his elite $23,000.00 Italian shotgun while on a hunting and drinking trip with two younger women who were not his wife.

      Comment by Zookeeper — April 6, 2006 @ 2:51 pm

This is what has been said about Bush’s “open” events:

The White House sends advance teams of handlers to all Bush events to screen audience members and reporters for loyalty to the president and his policies. They eject possible “troublemakers” who might disrupt their contrived public forum.
      Stifling Dissent in the Media

The unceremonious ouster of three people from a recent White House Social Security event in Colorado has critics wondering how far President Bush will go to ensure friendly, sympathetic audiences at his town hall-style forums and rallies.
Screening Tactics at Bush Events Questioned

You can bet your life this event was screened too.

I am sure Mr. Taylor must be a registered Republican.

    50. JW Says:

Did anyone count how many times Bush lied in that reply? He didn’t fully brief members ofboth parties, for one. ITMFA!

    51. wisedup Says:

Dem Leaders take note: ‘This is what a person with balls is like’, now let’s see some from you. START IMPEACHMENT!

      ‘Giv’em Hell Harry’…..

    52. Alan Says:

I love the decision in the transcription to highlight the booing — which from the audio I heard isn’t even all that prominent. Every other gesture of the crowd is (laughter) or (applause), but this is made especially prominent, with exclamation point and everything:

      AUDIENCE MEMBERS: Booo!

Harry deserves a medal. I only wish he had called Bush out for interrupting a courageous, heartfelt question with a jokey aside — “I’m not your favorite person.” What a jerk.

    53. fingerbo Says:

Harry Taylor is to be commended for not only the courage of his convictions, his passion, the fact that he’s way more articulate than Bush, but also for having giant balls. He’s no doubt been put on some awful list. Anyway, definitely the man of the hour.

    54. Jules Says:

Desi - I know of what you speak. If all they can come up with is something horrible that happend in a persons life about 50 years ago - well how sad is that.

Especially after all this administration has done in an attempt to destroy this country!

    55. Ajay Says:

      >Wonder how many people ask Kennedy is he is ashamed for killing Mary Jo >Kopeckne?

WTF is relevance here? What is wrong with people like you? Anti-abortion, lord jesus, God bless America, lefties are bad, Clinton, blah…blah. No rational thought what so ever. Do you guys even go to a real school? Even a high school? I am surprised you can type or even understand any communication other than from Lord Jesus.

    56. Gerald Gibson Says:

I would like to see someone ask him about what effect (precident) on the future of America he thinks his violations of the Constitution, the violations of US voters (remember the democrats in Nevada that were signed up to vote by undercover republicans then their signups were thrown in the trash? What ever happened to that FBI investigation?), signing statements that declare a president can ignore laws from congress, lowering Americans morals against torture of HUMAN BEINGS, unAmerican unilateral WAR, injection of religion into everything from the government to law enforcement to the military to science (NASA), etc etc etc are going to have?

I would like to see someone ask him if he knows about how ROME lost its senate? Its representation of the people..without which there IS NO AMERICA…

    57. Ben Says:

Does anyone else notice how Bush always makes jokes in difficult situations? Every single time a tough question is asked, he tries to laugh it off.

    58. Drew Mackenzie Says:

“But you said, would I apologize for that? The answer — answer is, absolutely not.”

Predictably sad. Even moreso is what follows:

Thank YOU,,,,,I live in NC and I appreciate someone,,anyone confronting this Corrupt, Dishonest, Shameful President……

America deserves Better then this Regime,,,,I’m proud that Mr Taylor had the Guts to speak out.

    62. Tom Says:

Bush should have been reminded that he placed his hand on the bible to defend the Constitution, rather than putting his hand on the Constitution to defend the bible.

    63. DrSinker Says:

ROCK ON, MY BROTHER HARRY, ROCK ON!!!

    64. Marie Says:

Poor Harry - he has earned admiration from us here at TP, but he will probably never be able to take a plane anywhere, his taxes will be audited every year, his mail will be examined, and there will be an unmarked van parked near his house from now on, with technicians listening to his phone, checking his Email and maybe looking in the windows when Harry isn’t home.

    65. Spudge_Boy Says:

Bush should have been reminded that he placed his hand on the bible to defend the Constitution, rather than putting his hand on the Constitution to defend the bible.

      Tom,

Do you mind if I plagerize that everyday from here until Bush gets impeached?

    66. Jaded Prole Says:

Not true, we have our own local hero named Tom Palumbo who confronted the chimp in Norfolk. He was tossed out after demanding that Bush show the decency of resigning but though I’m sure he’s closely watched, he flies regularly and got a good job with AFSCME as an organizer.

It takes Guts to stand up but it’s worth it and not as dangerous as you think.

    67. Shannon Says:

I noticed in Bush’s response that he never addressed the other issues Harry brought up such as the enviroment, food safety, and women’s right to choose. Just stay on that one trick pony…er uh National Security issues.

    68. JP Says:

D’oh! Putting Bush on the spot.. expecting a thoughtful response. Cute!

    69. Pete Bogs Says:

a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is a classic… that woman with the rose can’t believe what she’s hearing… the woman to her right is a pissed-off Bushie… the woman further back with her legs crossed doesn’t necessarily disagree with the guy, but is whispering to her companion, “How long do you think it’ll be before the Secret Service tosses this guy out?”

Bush’s day of reckoning has been put off far too long… it’s good to see some of the crap finally getting through and hitting him in the face…

    70. Gerald Gibson Says:

There will be a COLD streak going down the spines of many people in this country when the republicans are out of power… They will realize what asses they have been this past few years and not feel “comfortable” in their puckered lemon faced egotistical shoes… they will know they have given a great many people reason to HATE them… and now those people are in charge… they better hope that it only goes to prosecutions and not flat out revenge… because the neocons have set the stage for a formally illegal (preBush) backlash that could range in everything from putting extremist left judges to extreme taxes to constitutional amendments that destroy whatever dreams they may have once had.

    71. Pete Bogs Says:

on second thought, maybe the lady with the rose is just whistlin’ Dixie, or practicing for a presidential BJ… we could use one of those to bring the guy down about now…

    72. Shannon Says:

I live in Charlotte and here’s how the local paper covered it.

      http://www.charlotte.com/ mld/ charlotte/ news/ breaking_news/ 14280099.htm

    73. MrBlueSky Says:

Amen to that, Mr. Taylor! You said it all!

(Except that I didn’t like Mr. Bush’s response!)

    74. Spudge_Boy Says:

Is the chick next to Harry looking up at a telprompter flashing “Boooo, Boooo, Boooo,” so the sheep know what they are supposed to be doing for their leader?

    75. Paul in LA Says:

This kind of grassroots harassment is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered.

Don’t worry about it — this shit rattles Bush’s cage like a MAD BABOON.

His hand was shaking at his desk later, when he reached for his rolled up Andrew Jackson.

      Bush Must Resign.

    76. Southwest Bob Says:

Given the reactions of those seated around Harry, the obvious conclusion is that this was a “hand picked” GOP group. I’m certain everyone around Harry is concerned if they will be cuffed and hauled off to Gitmo for being in the same general area as Harry.

    77. blogenfreude Says:

His phone is SO tapped …

    78. JIMBO Says:

      #40

Mr. Taylor’s bravery should be commended, not criticized for not following along with the program. There have been too many so-called town meetings in which the questions for Dubya had been prescreened and/or written by his media people. We are at a critical moment in time in which the right-wingers have declared war on the American public and are taking away our freedoms and rights while giving them to another country across the sea.

We have every right to speak out. If the Democrats won’t speak out enough for us then we’ll have to do it ourselves. We can no longer shut up and take it. If the wingnuts want to be disrespectful and taunt us at every level, by God, we should do the same.

During the Civil War, Gen. Sherman once declared that War is all Hell.” His purpose was to bring that hell to the confederacy. Since the Confederates started the war, it took those who suffered the first blows to successfully fight back within four years. Like Sherman, us progressives have the ability and gumption to fight back and make the GOP sick of vicious attacks that they would wait several generations before they would even think of doing smear campaigns ever again.

Thank God there are a lot of Harry Taylors in the world. Including us. (Trolls not included)

    79. LC Liberal Says:

“Mr. Taylor was then promptly tackled by multiple Secret Service agents, handcuffed, and sent to Gitmo.”
How’d Harry even get in to the place. Maybe he wore a Bush T-shirt or something. Way to go Harry!

Clearly people overthere just love to kill and expect Repulicans to carry this out. Of course the fact they feel close to Jesus gives them special right. Why not let these bible/slave states to ceced and let them have a Jesusland.

    81. trblmkr Says:

      Simple question for Bush:
Sir, if Saddam Hussein claimed constitutional authority as a ‘unitary executive’ for what he did to his own people, all in the name of ‘national securityduring a time of war’, wouldn’t we have to let him go?

    82. Michael Carlucci Says:

I couldn’t have feel more elation and swelling, unbridled pride during those moments when Mr. Taylor made his comments…Yes, pride! I felt complete pride in a man I don’t even know! I felt the same way when Helen Thomas posed her questions at the press conference on March 21st!

Now, the big question is; what happened to Harry Taylor after the event? I’d be extremely interested in hearing ANY news concerning that! As a matter of fact, I would be curious about his well-being in the weeks to come.

Gregor, I sure hope so. :)

    84. s Says:

I agree with Yellowdog above. This is still a hand picked audience. The script is probably this………let a few people ask tough questions but make sure most of the audience is right wing so that when the person does speak, he/she is booed down. This leaves the impression that the event is not scripted, and that “more” people are in favor of Bush…… the booing. When in fact, they are only allowing the dissenter questions to be able to knock them down within the theater/scam of a fair event. And someone else also said a good thing. Why has the press accepted and not reported in the past about how scripted Bush events have been instead of now spin as positive that events are now “not” scripted? Of course, though, they still are scripted. To watch the event this post refers to, again, one would think that the majority is in favor of Bush. This is false. It is maddening, angering and downright evil. I hope the American people keep waking up.

      http://www.cnn.com/ 2006/ POLITICS/ 04/ 06/ bush.ap/ index.html

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (AP) — President Bush defended the government’s eavesdropping program Thursday and said he would not apologize for monitoring the phone and e-mail conversations of Americans talking to people with suspected al Qaeda links.

A man who identified himself as Harry Taylor rose at a forum here to tell Bush that he’s never felt more ashamed of the leadership of his country.

He said Bush has asserted his right to tap phone calls without a warrant, to arrest people and hold them without charges and to revoke a woman’s right to an abortion, among other things.

He was booed by the audience, but Bush interrupted and urged the audience to let Taylor finish.

“I feel like despite your rhetoric, that compassion and common sense have been left far behind during your administration,” Taylor said, standing in a balcony seat and looking down at Bush on stage. “And I would hope from time to time that you have the humility and grace to be ashamed of yourself.”

Please re-read my post. I’m not criticizing Mr. Taylor. My main point is that I have serious doubts that these question and answer sessions are unscripted and unscreened. The ratio of negative / positive questions would logically be higher than they are given the current approval rating of the president. If you look at the question in #83 (good one by the way) than you see that you can question Bush on his actions without making it appear that you are attacking him personally. Mr. Taylor telling Bush he should be ashamed of himself is too easy for the noise machines out there to spin. I can see the lead on AM radios now - “Liberals say Bush should be ashamed of himself”. Which will lead to “Libs should be ashamed of McKinney punching a cop”.

As a progressive in central Texas, I see anything critical of the administration get spun back into an attack on the messenger. Its maddening to see positives turned into negatives, but it happens all the time.

Remember when that guy from Fox gave out an address of a supposed “terrorist”? That was bad. An innocent family was terrorized by psychos that believed that guy’s story. Bush supporters think they are ‘defending’ the President. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are scared to believe that the President is the bad guy, and they were on his side.

    124. Krazny Says:

I think when you have invested as much into Bush as his supporters have, to admit that he is not the prophet you thought he was hurts them to much. They may start doubting everything else. It is better for them to listen to Rush and Bill, and not think to hard.

    158. Bush Bites Says:

      HARRY TAYLOR FOR PRESIDENT.

    159. Tom3 Says:

      Mighty Moron-dite:

You’re wrong about the briefings on the illegal wiretaps. And so is Chimpy.

Several members of Congress say the briefing they got was totally inadequate, and at least one of them objected to the program..in writing.

And yes, the US would be a better place if you blew your brains out.

You can put your head back up your ass where it belongs, Moron-dite.

    160. Spudge_Boy Says:

Tom - The committee leaders from both parties were briefed. A mind is such a terrible thing to waste…

Yes, and whether they agreed with it or not, they were gagged, so they couldn’t bring it out into public view. Jay Rockafeller wrote a letter to Cheney stating that he didn’t think it was legal.

Do you mean those committee leaders mighty aphrodite?

    161. Tom3 Says:

      More for Moron-Dite,

I am generally tolerant of most people.

But it is not intolerant to be against fascism.

You are a fascist. And a traitor.

To quote Cheney, Go Fuck Yourself.

    162. Liberal Texas Democrat Says:

I hope Mr. Taylor’s wife doesn’t work for the CIA. This administration has already demonstrated it hasn’t the cajounes to go mano-mano, It doesn’t go for the jugular .. it goes for the wife.

    163. Ryan Neat Says:

“****Tom you sound like a most intoleRANT person; you do not value diversity - you are a PERFECT prog!!!!! Congratulations!!!! Comment by mighty moron”

Your intolerance of PROGs, and your RANT is just the latest in the long line of HYPOCRISY from you. How was that cloudy/cold day at the beach? Did you discuss the ACLU case that never happened, with your fake husband and children that don’t exist?

For someone who claims to be toleRANT, you sure do hate PROGS saying anything you and your Nazi friends disagree with. Fascista…

And while your focusing on toleRANT behavior, you might want to take a grammar lesson or two. You write like a 3rd grader.

    164. Ryan Neat Says:

“Mr. Taylor, you haven’t been arrested - although in your circles, that would certainly be a feather in your cap. Quit talking to Al Qaeda and the NSA won’t listen. Mighty Moron”

Can you PROVE that? Is that like how the Pentagon is listening in on PEACE activists on the TERRORIST WATCH LIST?

Sure, whatever you say mighty moron. You make a perfect brownshirt, your ‘jewish grandpa’ (probably as fake as the rest of your identity) would be proud of your Nazi behavior.

    165. Gerald Gibson Says:

“Congress was NOT given a proper briefing on the illegal wiretaps.” tom
*****Dear Idiot -I mean - Tom - The committee leaders from both parties were briefed.
      Comment by mighty aphrodite

And according to the NATIONAL SECURITY ACT it was ILLEGAL for him to do so. The NATION SECURITY ACT gives NO exceptions. Committee leaders are NOT the body that is LEGALY required… GET THAT!? BUSH is NOT above the NATIONAL SECURITY ACT! You GOT THAT? And at least ONE of those “leaders” PROTESTED! IN WRITING…

      GOT THAT?

    166. glenstonecottage Says:

Q: How can you tell Harry Taylor ain’t a Democratic politician?

      A: He’s got balls!

    167. Bush Bites Says:

Ah, you know, Bush just regurgitated his talking points.

He told members of both parties (that he was going to violate FISA…thereby breaking the law), then told them they’d be breaking the law if they told anyone else.

      That’s not working with Congress.

      That’s building an alibi.

    168. Krazny Says:

      Ryan,

I don’t think MA’s meds have kicked in today. And she is a little grumpy cause the orderly took away her favorite stuffed bunny.
