Why did Fitzgerald release — I mean, the theory of Fitzgerald’s perjury case against Libby, which is the only crime that’s alleged here, perjury and related crimes… obstruction of justice through perjury, really, for misleading the FBI or the grand jury. The theory of that case is Libby didn’t tell the truth, he didn’t say that Cheney had told him to do this, he blamed it on reporters, because he wanted to protect the Vice President or the President. Now it turns out that Libby, in testifying to the grand jury, carefully explained that he was authorized to go ahead and discuss the National Intelligence Estimate by the Vice President and the President. I’m sorry that some posters were overly harsh on you–particularly if you were for d’Amato’s defeat. But have you ever looked at rightwing sites? The ones I’ve looked at don’t even invite comments; and I gather that the ones that do will ban any person who writes a contrary opinion or criticism of Bush even if expressed politely.

As for you, Mighty Hypocrite,
You are usually far from a paragon of restraint when replying to posters with whom you disagree. I think you are about the only poster who claims to be a woman who uses crude sexual references, such as accusing in graphic terms one liberal man of lacking male genitalia. And on I-WRONG-I’s posts, I’ve seen terms like “fucktard” and “ratbastard” more than all other places combined. (Incidentally, this is the first time I have ever written out that F word.)
You reichwingers can’t seem to make up your minds whether liberals/progressives are Islamo-fascists with al-Qaeda friends or Commies. I am neither, and I’m sure the same applies for all the other liberal/progressive posters here. I don’t need you Busheviks tell me about the Al Qaeda friends that in reality I don’t have. As for Communism or anti-capitalism, I don’t see the anti-Bush posters here calling for the abolition of private property, etc. I, in fact, happen to own some property, which I don’t want the government or anyone else to take away, except at a fair price–something, which, by the way, wasn’t given to the people in Arlington, Texas, whose property was confiscated to make room for a new baseball stadium and make George W.
