We all know Bush is the puppet to Cheney’s crime syndicate (Project for the New American Century). What we all should all be concerned about is the probable upcoming “terrorist” attack to justify invading Iran because they fund Hezbollah whom the administration will blame.

It would be a good thing if we marched on Washington, D.C. demanding Bush and Cheney resign from office immediately the same way they congregated for immigration reform recently.

It’s perhaps true (but not all law scholars agree) that the president can declassify information and then release it however he wants. But this president took classified information and distorted it to say just about the opposite of what it was saying. They took something labeled “highly dubious” and called it a “key finding”. It’s like taking a poll and finding 20% of Americans think the world is flat, then saying “We’ve discovered that Americans believe the world is flat!”

Then the administration surreptitiously distributed it to a handful of reporters rather than make a press release. All of this to discredit a person who dared disagree with the party line. To summarize, Joe Wilson criticized a position from a unique position of experience, and the administration lied to discredit him. These facts aren’t disputed by the Faux News watchers. They just want to talk about the semantics of Joe Wilson’s statements, which if you read them with bias sound like he claimed that the Vice President called him up and say, “Hey Joe, whyncha go to Niger and see what’s going on?”

Oh, yeah. Then they outed one of their own spies who happened to be married to this particular critic. Then they hired a special prosecutor and swore up and down that they had no idea how this happened and they wanted to get to the bottom of this. Then when the prosecutor started to get wise, they spread lies about his motives.

I was just reading Pinocchio to my daughter the other day, and the phrase “When you make a lie, it grows. It grows until it’s as plain as the nose on your face,” has never been truer to me.

Second, although the President can declassify any classified material, there is a process which he must go through first. It cannot be done by merely giving a verbal order. Third if you get the true facts you’ll also discover that trying to silence political opponants isn’t a good reason to declassify a report. If everything was so above board, why didn’t they have a press briefing? Since when is the leak the official word of the US governent. I don’t know about you but I believe in open government, not a closed system that works on leaks. If the President wants me to know something as a citizen, then he should go a TV and tell me, not leak it to a reporter.

You really need to stop drinking the kool-aid and stop letting Fox twist your mind so much that you don’t have enough brains to check multiple sources before drawing conclusions. People like you are what is wrong with this country, you sit around and make statements without all of the facts.
