<em>"No sex until marriage. The only thing that’s 100% safe."</em>

That is ,as long as your spouse hasn't got an affair going on the side. I understand that that's been known to happen.

Morality has nothing to do with all this. The televangelists and their cronies who are pushing this agenda have been playing fast and loose with the Bible and its meaning for generations. (Segregationists could whip out any number of passages which suppoerted their position). This is a mind-control thing. They have definitely come for our children. Fortunately, all we have to do as parents is peel ourselves away from the TV and talk to our kids intelligently about what's going on and why.

*****Only an amoral, self-centered agnostic/atheist would say something so STUPID. Aren’t you glad your mom didn’t try to earn more respect” by “offing” you before you were born. You sound like a walking advertisement for Pharma- cocktails and antibiotics…..

bleh what I meant my that was that a women did'nt have to spend 12 months of her live everytime her husband wanted sex have you ever studied the suffergette movement in britain 18th to 19th century? I have so i know that the affect these "Pharma- cocktails and antibiotics" had on society.
and yes I'm atheist so that means I think I did'nt exist before i was born (well till a certain stage in the pregnancy anyway.

But isn't all this beside the point (after re-reading the paper). the thing that is really wrong with it is it leaves out freedom of choice. The whole paper is telling people how to live there lives. It does'nt give any room for the other side of the argument or discussion. no matter what you think nothing should be taught in that fashion. It has never been the place for any goverment to tell the people how to live there lives no matter what you belive.

While I wasn't specifically talking about me on the second part, since you went there, then let's dissect this.

<em>There’s another way to look at it. The ex went after the shotgun once, another gal got her hands on my .38 one night and tried to do who knows what before I took it away from her </em>

This is a self-esteem issue. No one who values herself would point a gun at someone else. In my family, you got more than beaten for that. Even the dog growled at you for pointing your finger at him.

<em>and I’ve had an ex-husband come up and tell me to my face that he thought seriously about shooting me one night when I wasn’t looking. </em>

That might just be Texas. I don't think the rest of the country functions like the Wild Wild West.

<em>Now…you’re a half Italian, </em>

So? I'm also half-German. Shooting people isn't genetic. You might wanna ask your next date if her mother ever pulled a gun on her father, or vice versa, If the answer is yes, you got a pretty good idea of what's down the road for you. If no, you might want a second date.

<em>rabbit food eating </em>

Uh, yeah, because I don't believe in killing things to eat? Yeah, that's a sure sign of someone who who kill a human. We liberal gals who pity the mutt in the gutter actually have secret lives as snipers. Are you nuts? How much more pacifist does it get than that? Ask your next date if she craves a bloody rare steak. If the answer is yes, it's a good sign that it's your blood she'll be after next.

<em>fundy-atheist </em>

No such thing. Fundamentalism is associated with a desire to return to past times in the ideology. No atheist wants that... Be like you wanting to go back to early Roman times.

There are fewer Atheists in prison than Christians. That's because we value life too much to take someone else's. Morality cannot be instilled, it must be a personal decision.

<em>with what appears to be a somewhat warped sense of humor </em>

I have a dry sense of humor. You're the one with the warped sense of humor.

<em>and rather bad taste in men.</em>

Where'd you get that? I don't have bad taste in men. I've had my share of bad apples, but they were when I was much younger when I was trying to figure things out. Most of my serious relationships were with really nice guys and ended on pretty cordial terms. They're not interesting to talk about because there's no drama.

<em>The way I see it I may be over due for something I’d rather wait awhile longer for if you know what I mean.

At the rate you're going, I'd suggest you not hold your breath. You turn everything into a negative, no matter how well-intentioned, so perhaps it's no wonder that that is all you see. Or get. Sorry I tried to be nice. Sorry I focused on your positives. Sorry you'd rather wallow in the past. Don't worry. I'm also smart. And I won't make that mistake twice. Your loss.

Now I get why you're always assuming I'm lying about everything (I'm not), that I email my photo to Gregor or anyone else (I'm not), and that I'm really a gay man (I'm not). *****Your comments are misinformed to the point of stupidity. People who are responsible for spreading STD’s are morons who hump like bunnies, whores, and filthy drug users. Bathhouses (anonymous sex parlours) in San Francisco stayed open at the heigth of the AIDS epidemic because the gay community REFUSED to close them.

maybe so in america, but if you look at AIDS in a global scheme and were it is most prevelent (africa), it isn't because of gay population it has to do with lots of stupid obscure culture belives (e.g. if u fuck a virgin your cured of AIDS)
is one which sticks close to my mind and more promeintly what this discussion about is the lack of education about contraceptives which far to many people are willing to dismiss.

And please remeber that abortion is the reason women have a greater deal of respect and power in society today.

Abstinence is not a good thing, now that is unnatural and causes people todo extremely bad things how many priest cases of child rape have there been?

children should be taught about safe-sex not something which may be of determent to be there mental health and well being

I wish I could remember where I got that. (She's been stuck more times than a pin cushion!) I want to say that the mother of one of my old girlfriends used to it describe her daughter (I think so) but it might have been that scene played out in a movie. Hell, anymore I can hardly tell the difference as my life has been like one romantic comedy after another. (I always get the wrong girl)

I-R-I, With the current left-wing cultural mantra advising bed-hopping "pin cushions" (The Mr. and I loved your description) to run down to the nearest abortion mill as an alternative form of birth control, is pitiful, selfish and degrading.
There used to be a time when people actually knew someones’ name, went on a date, necked like crazy and WAITED to jump in bed. People took the time to get to know each other, discover their mutual values, explore their dreams and aspirations and think of building a life together. Todays teenagers and single people don’t seem to enjoy romance anymore - - so sad….

Just because you watch soap operas, MTV and Desperation Television to get your perspective of romance, doesn't mean the real world works that way. It just means the two-dimensional teeenagers you hang out with aren't into romance. But, hanging around you, I'm sure a brown paper bag over your head is the most romance they could muster. And really, no one can blame them. You are a fright.

The Federal Government has come out with new standards for hunting.

To make it absolutely, 100% safe, all hunters in the U.S. cannot use firearms. Harsh language is the most powerful weapon that will be allowed for hunters to arm themselves..

It's a good thing. We've just got to be sure no harm ever comes to anyone ever.

"....and I-RIGHT-I its ppl like u who dislike condoms who are responsable for spreading STD’s. not homo-sexuals STD’s arn’nt just spread by homosexuals and “dirty leftwing women.." Moronic comment by Alpha Bit

*****Your comments are misinformed to the point of stupidity. People who are responsible for spreading STD's are morons who hump like bunnies, whores, and filthy drug users. Bathhouses (anonymous sex parlours) in San Francisco stayed open at the heigth of the AIDS epidemic because the gay community REFUSED to close them.

Homo-sexuality isn’t just todo with dogs and humans, lol it is found in a wild variety of animals (e.g. whales for one I can’t be arsed to list them all here) and just because you think humans are some how higher than all other animals

[...]

lol if anyone thinks that a teenager is going to listen to bush-bull-shit based on well noevidence the fact is teenagers are pyscologically pre-disposed to want sex since that is when the human race is most fertile! remeber it wasn’t so long ago that the human life span was 40! (a couple of hundred years give or take)
