The PNAC crowd is not going to let this last chance for their grand plan not happen. We’ll bomb Iran first , then the damage will be done and then maybe he might step down. Bush is in the dumper, what does he have to lose.?Stick to the war,s and history will be kind to him in a few years. Reagan got the National Airport named after him before he had been dead 25 years. Bush will be portrayed as the man who did what needed to be done. The end always justifies the menas with this bunch.

The real story is that Rove is going to be on slander duty 100% of the time. This indicates just how important it is to these guys that the republicans retain control of the house in 2006. It also indicates that they have more things that they are hiding that they are fearful a democratic controlled congress will investigate.Our best hope is that Fitzmas will come soon and we all will get the present we deserve: Rove Indicted and put on the hot seat. If he is he will be too busy lawyering up to do any swiftboating. Please Santa… we all have been extra good this year!

The only relevant shake-up in the White House will be the moment Bush leaves, or is driven out. Think about it–he removes Cheney. So what? Bush is still president, Bush is still an idiot, and idiots still make lousy decisions…because they’re still idiots. The first outrage will come with his selection of a new VP. Why? Because Bush, like most if not all idiots, is an appallingly bad judge of character. Therefore, who will he pick? “Someone I, George Bush, who gets to decide and not you, considers qualified for the job.” Bush felt that Cheney would make a great VP. He thought Condi “I’m flying to NYC on 9/11/01 to give a speech outlining our belief that China is America’s greatest potential threat. Aren’t I prescient?” Rice would make a great NSA advisor. He thought Michael “I got fired for lousy horse-stall-cleaning skills” Brown would make great decisions at FEMA. He thought that living fossil Donald “Coelecanth” Rumsfeld would lead the DOD into a new golden age. Why are we talking about these “changes” as if they’re relevant?

OK, we’ve often heard that the phrase, “to spend more time with his family,†has been used frequently to mask the real reasons behind a firing/resignation. There are ways of sending Rummie back to the military-industrial complex to make more money. The problem is that Bush is so incapable of admitting a mistake and changing policy, so clearly it doesn’t really matter who’s the Secretary of War. It’s not likely that Bush would hire anyone who’d give good & honest advice. We’ve seen that this president doesn’t like people who disagree with him, doesn’t read the papers or any serious books, or anything that would broaden his horizons. This is in line with his theocratic, apocalyptic vision. Stay the course, don’t let Satan distract you, he probably mumbles to himself. Actually, I do appreciate his lunacy, because it makes it easier for Americans to pin the disastrous policies on the person who’s ultimately responsible. So, let Dickey, Rummy, Condie, Rover, Nuts&Bolts, Molten, Gonzo, and the other incompetent cohorts of his imperial court stay on. Let them think that by re-arranging the chairs on their Titanic will help them from drowning.

RAW STORY is reporting that if the election of 2004 were held today, Kerry would win handily. The poll has 47% for Kerry, 40% for Bush. Its just sad that all those people drank the koolaid before the election.
You all hear that the new Chief of Stuff, whatever his name is, has a five point program to put Bush back in front of the American people and to improve his poll ratings.
In front of the American people? That is all he has been doing, going in front of those selected by his SS troops and making canned speeches. Seriously though, Bush has been talking PAST the press and trying to communicate with the people. Thas has been a failure. So now the Chief of Stuff wants him to talk to the press and get to the Amurkans that way.
He has tried that several times with no success.
The other three points deal with sundry details such as recapturing the hispanic and black vote. Look for Bushco to discover Darfur about 2 months before the elections, promise all sorts of aid to that region, then not fund it, or underfund it.
The hispanics? Bush can forget about them. Congress is going to pass first and foremost border security before they tackle illegal immigration and that will leave a very pissed off hispanic community. There wont be an immigration bill before the 2008 election, and if there is, it will be meaningless legislation. Illegal immigration has been years in the making and will take years to solve. Bet on it!

It would be more of a change in the administration if Cheney were removed than if Bush were removed. If Bush is impeached, and Cheney becomes president, it would simply make official what’s already going on anyway.

First, it seems to actually believe Bush’s “compassionate conservative” marlarky, which was nothing more than a branding slogan with absolutely no substance behind it.
Second, it doesn’t seem to realize that Bush treats Cheney like a pet cobra. Bush is technically the boss, but he’s really a prisoner. He’d never have the guts to ask him to step aside.

April 23rd, 2006 at 3:10 pmWhen a situation is too obvious as this is, it’s easy to find fun with speculating whom and when they go. But this is only part of our problem! As Administrations come and go, those involved in the Fraud based criminal empire buried within the Federal Level remain. That is why nothing changes and frankly it seems to get worse from one Admin to another.
I was in a family for more than 26 years who is part of this criminal group. Corruption is only one area of many that they are active in. Don’t get me wrong, I’m encouraged with what I see, but it can’t stop here as there still is a long way to go.
