You tell me how the vote is going to go.

  2. Hardy Haberman says:

Finally, Democrats starting to move! It’s about time, and that count is up to 8 now, I hope they call them all.

  3. Spudge_Boy says:

Hillary is finally going to do something. About frickin’ time.

  4. Brien says:

the DNC has $10.5 million on hand compared with almost the $43 million the RNC has available seven months before congressional elections.” Dean get to work

Gee, I wonder if the “Committee” will vote to hear the testimony? NAH NAH NAH NAH I DON’T HEAR YOU!

  7. CakeWalk My Ass says:

    interesting… very interesting

  8. Jack Hicks says:

She needs to show me. Warner will probably prevent any meaningful hearing, though. Maybe Bush’s 32% approval finally lit a fire under her ass. This way she can support the military but appose Rumsfeld.

  9. Marty Didier says:

Proceed carefully because as in the past with the different “committee’s”, most turn out to be a sham. The 9/11 committee, as an example, was a good example of how to bury and cover up a real huge scandal. Hence, just because someone wants to have a committee, doesn’t prove anything UNTIL we CLEAN UP the Federal Level from the Criminal Corruption Group.

Furthermore, Hillary Clinton is expected to move cautiously because Bill Clinton is a major player in the criminal group, per my ex-in-laws. To prove all of this, there’s far too much on the Internet that explains big parts of this. The only thing I add is the experience from actually being part of it for more than 26 years. So if you don’t want to believe the Internet or me, I can introduce you to a few others who will tell you the same thing.

I’ve said many times in the past, the biggest Laundromat known is “Mandarin Oriental Group” owned by “Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum” who also owns “Dubai Ports World of Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co”. Everyone should recognize that one because it was headline news for weeks not long ago! Please remember, Mandarin is a huge corruption Laundromat!

Hillary haters will say she is grandstanding — but those of us who want truth and justice to prevail say it’s about time someone stands up!

  11. Marie says:

Check out this article from Raw Story (Asia Times) confirming the infiltration of covert American operations aimed at toppling the Iranian government.
“The president hasn’t notified the Congress that American troops are operating inside Iran,” said Sam Gardiner, a retired US Army colonel who specializes in war-game scenarios. “So it’s a very serious question about the constitutional framework under which we are now conducting military operations in Iran.”

Marie, I have said both in this thread. : )

I often write a comment before I read all the preceeding ones — we are of the same mind on this and many issues of the day! :)
Read that article from Raw Story. Bush is playing cowboy again – what Sy Hersh wrote two weeks ago.

They (the repubs on the comittee) may allow some questioning of the military brass. But I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that ANY comittee that has a majority or Republican members (all the comittee’s in the Senate and all but one in the House) will just sit on the info and not do anything with it.

    That’s the cynic in me.

One more reason to win at the polls come November.

  15. IRI CAT KILLER says:

    Hillary Polishing her November Turd?

  16. IRI CAT KILLER says:

Feingold has been standing up for some time, the cloture club never even moved, if you noticed, when the polls reached a certain point. Not before.

  17. james risser says:

hillary is about three bricks shy of a republican, but, let’s see what she can do with these fat bast–ds!

note to senate: get longer tables and stronger chairs…

    peace.

Marie suppy trucks have been going over the Border into Iran for a long time . Tennesseans have come back and talked about it.There’s a person from the N.Y. who has sent down the same info. bush and co want to topple the Government of Iran to take control of the Natural Resources and the Persian Gulf it has nothing to do with “demoracy on the march” it has to do with controlling prices of gas and oil and I’m not talking about lower prices but higher prices like we are seeing now.

I don’t think anything will happen to bush/cheney/rice rummygate until we’re in control of the House. With 8 Generals asking for rummy head I just don’t see him going anyplace. Maybe Pace the puppet will take his place ..

  20. Bruce Gorton says:

It is about bloody time she and the rest of the Dems started making some noise.

Personally, if I was an American I would still vote her out at the midterms though. Her stance on gaming put me right off her, and frankly this request is too little too late to restore my faith in her as a Democrat. It smells of trying to get back to her base, rather then a move made with any sincerity.

  21. ANVILHEAD says:

WHY DOESNT HILARY TAKE TESTIMONY FROM THE 9000 GENERALS WHO ARENT BEING WHINY BABIES AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THE IRAQ WAR.

WHAT A SELF SERVING MOVE BY HILARY. SHE HAS NO GUTS. SHE WAITS UNTIL BUSH IS AT 32 % BEFORE SHE SAYS ANYTHING.

I LAFF !!! HILARY WILL GET THE PREZ NOMINATION AND REPUBLICNAS WILL WIN IN A LANDSLIDE IN 2008

NOW HER BRILLIANT IDEA IS TO CRITICIZE RUMSFELD——THREE YEARS TOO LATE. THANKS ALOT DEMOCRATS. WHY DONT YOU FORGET IRAQ. THATS THE OLD MIDDLE EAST. EVEN AS WE WRITE THERE ARE NEW OPERATIONS ONGOING IN IRAN. FIRST WE DESTABLIZE THEM, AND THEN BOMB THEM.

I WONDER WHAT HILARY AND THE REST OF YOU WILL SAY WHEN WE DEFEAT IRAN AND SYRIA AND G.W. BUSH IS LAUDED FOR BRINGING PEACE TO THE MID-EAST.

    SUCKERS—-LOSE ANOTHER ELECTION.

  22. Wayne A. Schneider says:

Well, good for Hillary. BFT. As a New Yorker, I will officially state that I have been satisfied with her work as one of my US Senators. (I won’t go higher than “satisfied”.) I wouldn’t mind seeing her win re-election to the Senate. But she better understand something, and I think a lot of other New Yorkers feel the same way: She can have my vote for Senator in ‘06, or she can have my vote for president in ‘08, but she can’t have both. If she wants to be re-elected to the Senate, then she better serve out her six years and wait until ‘12 to run for president. It’s what’s fair for New Yorkers.

  23. ANVILHEAD says:

    Comment by Wayne A. Schneider — April 25, 2006 @ 7:50 am

WOW YOU LIB WINGUT PERVERT A-HOLES ARE DUMB!!!! IF SHE RUNS FOR PRESIDENT SHE WILL BECOME A HUGE FIGURE IN AMERICAN POLITICS. EVEN IF SHE LOSES HER STATURE WILL BE INCREASED TO THE POINT WHERE SHE CAN DO ALOT MORE GOOD FOR NEW YORK.

AND OF COURSE SHE’LL LOSE TO JOHN MCCAIN … THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. THATS A GIVEN. DEMOCRATS ARE IDIOTS. NOBODY TRUSTS THEM TO RUN GOVERNMENT, AND RAISE EVERYBODYS TAXES.

  24. Democrat Soldier says:

#23 – Actually, it’s you CON WING-NUT FASCIST A-HOLES who are dumb. 32% approval rating for Pres. Bush? For what, the highest deficit in the world? The highest debt in the world? The first war of the millennium based on proven lies about WMD’s that don’t exist? The first president that leaked classified information in order to attack a critic of his administration? (If he de-classified it, why did he continue to complain about leaks of classified information?)

John McCain is a big wus. When (then Gov.) Bush was trashing his mental state of mind, what did he do? He bent over, took it like a Republican whore, and asked for more. Now, what’s he doing? Sucking up to Pres. Bush like a crack whore. Sen. McCain USED to be a man of honor, but he’s nothing but a big old hypocritical political whore, nothing more.

The American people are sick and tired of the “borrow and squander” policies of the Bush administration that is bankrupting America.

    http://rozius.blogspot.com/2006/04/paul-krugman-csi-trade-deicit.html

I can’t wait for November to roll around, and for the Republicans to lose seats. Then in 2008, there will be a new president, and if it’s McCain, he’s going to lose and lose like a failed Republican whore.

Good job running up more debt in 6 years than the previous 20 years, Pres. Bush. It’s failures like you that are going to remind the American public that Republican’s are big-government, “borrow and squander”, pro-special-interests, pro-big-business over average American citizens, ethically bankrupt cowards.

  25. Quadrajet says:

Anvilhead, its hard to say anything about you that your alias doesn’t already say.

  26. Paul in Mexico says:

The incursions into Iran haave been going on for quite some time.

Special forces and other gung-ho types are being offered by Rumsfelds army special bonuses and other benefits to make these incursions.

This project is supposed to be TOP SECRET but came to light when all were told that they had to turn in their dog tags to enlist in the incursions.

Rumsfeld, probably at the orders of Jesus Bush, wants deniability.

I remember when I was offered the same deal to go into Vietnam years ago to help out the French.

  27. kindness says:

It’s hilarious how pathetically stupid our bushies are here.

First, they make no effort to spell (I can’t either though). Their sentance structure would give a 6th grade teacher a coronary. & lastly – they just say the dumbest things.

I know I hate reading their bombast, but maybe that’s why Judd lets ‘em troll here.

I’ll take Hillary’s help in defeating the Republican Crime Syndicate we currently have running all the shows, but I’m hoping Russ Feingold is the guy come ‘08.

  28. Marie says:

    #19 Thot’s
Yes, I, too have read about what is happening in Iran. In fact, you may have been one who mentioned the Tenneseeans, which you remind us of today.
There is so much evidence for the war in Iraq to have been because of the Bush/Cheney desire to gain convenient access to the oil-rich ME.
Have you read today of the KBR pipeline in Iraq which was attempted despite warnings by experts that it was impossible. KBR won a $2.4 billion no-bid contract and the project is now abandoned after $75 million is lost.
I also agree with you that even if Rummy goes, Pace the puppet will likely replace him and nothing will change — nothing is going to change regardless.
I am constantly amazed that Bush&Co have any support at all; their lies, their corruption, their numerous scandals — and all of them with very serious consequences – yet 32% of Americans think they are wonderful.

  29. C Storms says:

Since when has Hillary Clinton given a rip about what any military officer thinks about anything? Of course she’s grandstanding. If you can’t see that, you’re blind.

You might be surprised, though that I don’t think it’s a big deal. That’s politics I guess. Just a word of caution to my liberal friends… what seems like a good idea for Democrats hasn’t really panned out recently. Let her call the generals & let’s call a bunch of soldiers who were actually on the ground doing great things in Iraq, under the leadership of Rumsfeld. Better yet, let’s call some Iraqi & Afghani women who have been given tremendous opportunities because of Rumsfeld’s policies.

    Hold your hearnings Hillary!

  30. Jules says:

Sorry storm, all you will hear in that room are the generals and a bunch of crickets where the supposed people who have benefited from this war would have been because neither the soldiers nor women have!

  31. C Storms says:

#30 – Are you serious? Look, there have been some mistakes, but much good has been done by our troops, and to deny that shows your utter blindness. I still ask the question…can anyone give me an example of Hillary taking the military seriously?

I still believe her grandstanding will backfire, and I can’t wait to see it happen. Every time Dems jump on something like this it benefits the Republicans. Think about all the retired generals & only 8 come out and say they think Rumsfeld should resign. Is Hillary really going to put faith in these 8 guys who she has basically dispised her whole life? We’ll see.

  32. Bruce Gorton says:

    C storms

Actually, Saddam was surprisingly more enlightened then the current Iraqi government when it comes to womens lib. This isn’t to say that Saddam was ever one of the good guys, but rather that he wasn’t particularly sexist.
