The ’shake-up’ continues.

As surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, James Baker III reliably appears whenever George W. Bush finds himself in trouble. As the New York Times reports, the growing Iraq quagmire is no exception. Baker, the Secretary of State under the President’s father, will lead a team to generate new ideas for hopefully salvaging the American adventure in Iraq and with it, extricate George W. Bush from another fine mess.

    For the details, see:

Recycling Bush administration employees is not a “shake-up.” It is musical chairs.

No room at the Inn for George W. Bush. I knew that he was Christlike.

As long as Bush/Cheney are at the top,it’s all corrupt.

  9. ed says:

btw: tony snow is still not a fox news anchor. that is all.

  10. Hardy Haberman says:

There will be no real shake up until Bush and Cheney are removed from office.

  11. David B says:

Can someone tell me what the bad vibes are about Snow? Given that the revenue flow was cut with the tax rollback and the deficeit spending for 5 years, I think he’s done a fair job to get the economy where it is. He’s not going to force down the price of gas, but then neither will Carlos, so what will the change accomplish?

#11 – what will the change accomplish?

Smokescreen for the shake-up that wasn’t.

  13. Democrat Soldier says:

#8 – Snow is an anchor on his own show.

Don’t worry, Ed, you’re not the first one to get the “red-a$$” over the “anchor” label. A number of trolls have tried this particular calumny, and are now smarting over the pounding they’ve gotten.
