Harper’s Ken Silverstein:

Harper’s Ken Silverstein:

“I double-checked with my sources regarding who attended Wilkes’s parties, and all of them repeated what they had said before: over the years, at least six former and current members of Congress were said to have been at events sponsored by Wilkes, and their names have apparently been provided to investigators in the Cunningham case.”

My favorite part. Only becauset I always like to read about an European professional dominatrix and politicos first thing in the morning. Really gets my blood going…

I’ve been told by several sources that one of the people in attendance at the parties—not a current or former member of Congress—has a long international track record of Bill Clinton–style sexual indiscretions. A person with direct knowledge of the matter told me that this man—let me put this delicately—once, some years ago, while in Europe, kept company with an acquaintance whose work attire resembled Halle Berry’s in the film Catwoman.. (Ma’am, if you are out there reading this, please contact ken@harpers.org immediately, as I have many questions. A translator will be provided if needed.)

Mr Silverman is nice enough to provide a link to a suggestive photo of Ms. Berry.

  2. Mary Poppin says:

Dr. Benway are you saying that Bill Clinton attend these parties?

That has to be a weird feeling for the Congressmen involved. You know the facts are going to come out. Your name will be outed as a sleaze and a bribe taker but you still have to go to work as if nothing is going on and try and think of a way out of this. Gotta eat at ya. No sympathy. Whoever they are they should be tarred and feathered.

  4. Dr Benway says:

    Dear Mary Poppins,

I’m not saying much, just quoting from the article. I would not want to imagine what sort of bedroom antics Bill and Hilary engage in. (Unless anyone has some video/photos. anyone…)

Seriously, I read the article as saying we are reading about someone with a Clinton-eque reputation. Any guesses as to who this might be? I am not as up on the sexual proclivities of my politicos as I could be.

(Did I just address a comment concerning sexual domination to Mary Poppins? Why, what a world I find myself living in.)

Remember Cunningham’s tear-filled press conference? At first we all thought he was crying in shame over being caught. These days I think he was crying because he knew his conviction would begin the unraveling of all this mess. He was ashamed not for what he had done, but for the fact he had let down all his poker-playing, whoring buddies. He knows, even once he gets out of jail, his friends will always look at him as the one that ruined the party. His failure to stay out of trouble is what started the whole collapse of their fine little partytime.

  6. Jay Randal says:

The details will come out soon on who took part in the Hookergate scandal poker parties! Those members of the Congress who took part are going to be outed in the press and the humiliation of what they did means resignations like what happened to Dusty Foggo at CIA!

    Mary Mary quite Contrary =)

    KK What is your point?

  9. BBoop says:

You gotta love it! These sanctimonious family values politicians caught with their pants down…..on camera, no less. Cunningham probably cried because the Feds promised to put some of the other poker players in the same prison with him and he’s still waiting for the other shoe (s) to drop. The suspense is killing me…who can they possibly be. I’d take ANY six Republicans at this point. I wonder if Poppy Bush was one of the players?
