Chris Matthews: “Everybody sort of likes the president, except for the real whack-jobs, maybe on the left.”
Reality: “President Bush’s job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest mark of his presidency, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. The reality ~ from the start ~ is that this is a failed person. He’s had his tracks covered by rich parents and “loyal” friends for his entire life. This stage is simply too big for a half-wit and mentally unbalanced lazy boy. He will look back at 30% approval ratings soon and dream of the “good ol’ days.”
It’s Battle Fatigue!! Says George.
Really?
Adding Insult to Injury…..

Battle fatigue: The World War II name for what is known today as post-traumatic stress, this is a psychological disorder that develops in some individuals who have had major traumatic experiences (and, for example, have been in a serious accident or through a war). The person is typically numb at first but later has symptoms including depression, excessive irritability, guilt (for having survived while others died), recurrent nightmares, flashbacks to the traumatic scene, and overreaction to sudden noises. Post-traumatic stress became known as such in the 70s due to the adjustment problems of some Vietnam veterans.

I’m hoping for rock bottom of 20%, or less, by the end of this month, which is only 2.5 weeks away, not months! Hooohah! Hell, he slipped two points in one day!
How low can he go?? Hey Tweety, I guess I’m one of those wack job lefties then because I hate Bush with a passion. Maybe the question isn’t who disagrees with Bush, but the ever loving morons who agree with him!!
Yeah, CNN just started running the latest datamining. Saw one segment asking people what they thought, on the street. People are pissed, really ticked off.
This was all over the office at work today, even past Bush defenders are pissed. this is gonna sink him.
Here is the real kicker “The call-collecting program is focused on domestic calls, those that originate and terminate within U.S. borders.” http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/
Remember that when it first came out, Bush said it was overseas call, where one party was in the US.
several posts here reminded me – colbert’s sign off tonight, he will have chris matthews as guest on monday – (paraphrase) “we’ll see who has the hardest ball” …
It seems to defy my ability to understand how it is that, even with every asset and advantage available to us, technology, weapons, military might, basically anything and everything at our disposal, we cannot ‘win’, in Afghanistan, or Iraq? And why do they stubbornly refuse to accept the reality of the situation, and fix that SH*T!
The only rats that haven’t yet left are the ones stuck in the hold. Knawing and clawing each other for footing, they now curse the head rat for not being “rat” (conservative) enough to save them from their verminous fates, as the filthy bilge rises higher . . .
He´s going to serve the full term. Wether or not that is a good thing is debatable. At least he hasn´t plunged into a nuclear war yet. Let´s look at the bright side!
They aren’t rats, though they are rodents. They are lemmings who have suddenly come to the realisation that their dear leader has led them over the edge of a cliff. Hear all of the Republican leaders going splat? That is soon going to be the Republican followers.
Of course, their egos won’t let them admit that they were wrong, so they claim their leader isn’t one of them. Doesn’t change the fact that they followed him over the edge of that cliff though does it?
Unfortunaly antiwar.com is having trouble to finance their website. I do not work there, but please support if you can. It’s a good source for information. We need all the information we can get.
29% are still supporting Bush a MASS MURDERER OF INNOCENT IRAQI WOMEN AND CHILDREN, A TORTURER, HOLDING PEOPLE ILLEGALLY IN GUANTANAMO, THIEF, LAW BREAKER, FAILURE OF ALL ASPECTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS FROM HEALTH TO CARE IN THE COMMUNITY, BREAKING UN TREATIES,
Only America can hide Bush, Hes not welcome anywhere in the world
Like father, like son. 29% was as low as George H. W. Bush got in the polls, according to an article in USA Today I dug up from seven months ago, when W’s ratings hit 39%, “the lowest of his presidency.” Now they can commiserate together.
So if 4% of the population actually benifit from his tax cuts, who are the other 25%? Is that the amount of people who cannot read English that are living in the US? Seems high to me. Of course we have Ann Coulter, Rush and Bill O’Reilly spewing their hatrid on the airwaves. Could they be hiding the truth from these people this successfully? Or is it true that 1/4 of American’s simply do not like our American Values?. Freedom of speech, separation of church and state, not being spied on, not being lied to, being able to breath the air, etc.
get drunk and screw, or butcher in the name of god. As the Floyd said it a long buzz ago: pigs on the wing, dogs, and the scared sheep who elcted this moron.
Its the liberal media that has made America turn against Bush.
At least that was better then the insane denials that Bush poll numbers were anywhere near the low 50% let alone low 30% a few months ago.
#47 Is right dont count your chickens befoe they hatch
Bush low poll numbers hasnt translated into support for demcrates YET. You still have a lot of work to do. Like the 2004 elections they were yours to lose.
Even his low approval ratings are not stopping him from doing real damage, though. He and his lacky congress will soon pass another 70 billion dollar tax give-away to the very wealthiest, financed by public debt. When balance and sanity are restored (given we can override the electoral power of diebold and sequoia) we must not be deterred by whiney, peevish, and decietful complaints of “tax increase!” or “class warefare!” when we seek to undo this fiscally irresponsible rape of the public treasury.
#59…You know how its the Rosebowl brought to you by Taco Bell or whatever. I think it should officially be called …The Iraq War sponsored by Chinese Debt!
56#…great fun…I’ll have to send this to a wingnut I know, so he can PUSH ol chimpy up in the polls….O’liely and limpdick will pull out all the stops now to defend ‘the worst person on the planet’.
How long will it be before another video of Osama bin Laden plays, giving Bush credit for his security measures which have prevented an attack on America?
How long will it be before the “Terror Alert” gets raised?
How long will it be before we are attacked by “terrorists with direct links to Iran?”
Someone observed that Dumbya is still doing real damage despite the exhaustion of his “political capital” and the rich still want to keep the Republican gravy train going while they wreck this country. The midterm elections are no sure thing and it is incumbent on all of us to continue pointing out what miserable human beings, in every sense of the word, Dumbya and his coterie are. About 70% of the population believe the country is headed in the wrong direction and that is the point that that the Republicans must try and spin–hey you are out of work? Think of all the extra free time you have?
Say Hunter and all posters, I believe history writers will say bush is the worst president ever in the USA. Now that I have written that, may I add, it will be there for all to read providing our government isn’t into book burning by then. Add to that the witch burning times and were not far off…..I’ll be one of the first to go, along with all dissenters and any one thinking the constitution is more than just a piece of paper…….Blessings
For a laugh go to GOP Bloggers to see how they spin this result:
Bush Has Better Approval Ratings Than Congress…
…According to the latest Harris poll. Still the media prefers to talk about Bush’s low approval ratings… but then again, they wouldn’t be the MSM otherwise.
Perhaps they forgot the GOP has solid control of Congress as well as the White House, and Bush having a higher rating than the Congress is actually bad news for the GOP.
Don’t be too alarmed at the 29% that still support Bush. If you look at the intelligence demographics, the average intelligence of a human being is somewhere in the 95 – 105 IQ points. A third is above that, and a third, … well. There’s your 29%.
#11 Jay Randal, for the record, Illinois is a part of the midwest and Illinois has never elected a stupid Republican. Be more specific when pointing out who’s stupid in America.
When Bubble boys numbers go down, Frist profits….more mentals are taking their meds.
Nixon 2.0, the revised and even buggier version of republican stupidity.

…today after his meeting with former Secretaries of States he made two utterly telling gaffes:
1) he stated in his post-meeting propaganda op,
“I realize some of us have our ‘disagreeances’ ‘er disagreements but…”
2) ” I want to thank all the members for coming, ‘er former Secretaries of State…”
Is this mofo a master orator or what?

If you are in Iraq, I hope you’re not relying on listening to my phone calls so you know when to duck.

May 12th, 2006 at 1:08 pmFor a laugh go to GOP Bloggers to see how they spin this result:
Perhaps they forgot the GOP has solid control of Congress as well as the White House, and Bush having a higher rating than the Congress is actually bad news for the GOP.
May 12th, 2006 at 2:00 pmCatch 22 – I just can’t seem to bring myself to venture there….too scary. that’s why I don’t have TV right now. I have enough to be outraged about!
May 12th, 2006 at 2:30 pmDon’t be too alarmed at the 29% that still support Bush. If you look at the intelligence demographics, the average intelligence of a human being is somewhere in the 95 – 105 IQ points. A third is above that, and a third, … well. There’s your 29%.
May 12th, 2006 at 3:33 pm#11 Jay Randal, for the record, Illinois is a part of the midwest and Illinois has never elected a stupid Republican. Be more specific when pointing out who’s stupid in America.
