Bill really has his finger on the pulse of this immigration debate……

If it wasnt obvious before this whole immigration debate is a ruse to rally the RW with the old standby of the Republican Party …..RACISM……

    Sharika por el Presidente…..

  2. bushllit says:

what…this is nuts even for him…i can’t wait until countdown!

  3. Grand Moff Texan says:

Bullshit. There is no such movement.

On the other hand, O’Reilly has only encouraged the people who feel entitled to murder American judges who disagree with them, so maybe this is why O’Reilly is ranting?
    .

  4. Bearpaw says:

O’Reilly says that like it’d be a bad thing.

Well, maybe in that completist sense it would be a bad thing. Me, I don’t think *all* white Christians should be swept out, just the ones that seem a little confused about the US supposedly being a (white) “Christian nation”. It’s not, it never was, and it was never meant to be. But I guess I shouldn’t expect hard-core Biblical literalists to have a good understanding of actual history.

  5. dlet says:

Wow, frightening stuff. I don’t know which is scarier. If he thinks that only white christians should be in absolute power or…..wait…that IS the sacriest thing. Apparently Bill doesn’t sleep between the sheets…he sleeps with his sheets on.

  6. agua fiero says:

I wish to preface by stateing forthwith:
I am a middle aged male Anglo Saxon who was brought up in a Protestant Christian tradition.
Nothing could be closer to the truth in that the “white christians” who hold power mr. O’really refers to need to be relegated to no more than an equal voice in our nations affairs.
And to see a rainbow coalition of an open representation of all views could be nothing less than what Jesus Christ himself had in mind for peace on Earth.
Mr. Bush has blasphemed the teachings of the Christ by claiming to be an adherant to the Christian faith and to have such teaching as a part of his leadership.
I’m noticing he no longer refers to his “higher father’s guidance” as he did when he was making the case for going on his crusade in search of the ‘holy oil’……

  7. Will OBGYN for Food says:

Bill is too stupid to be as evil as the people he shills for. I would be happy with a quick and sudden Bill heart attack without much suffering.

  8. kindness says:

OK, time to do a quick whirl with a picture of Bill O’Liely and some Photoshop magic. Don’t you think a white pointed Klan hat might be appropriate.

  9. Jane E. Schneider says:

Wait, Bill is finally admitting that White Christians are in power? He usually tries to portray them as the underdog, with the powerful secularists beating them down.

  10. DrSinker says:

The King of the strawman argument strikes again!

TP really should not give this clown the time of day. People who enjoy his show are hopelessly lost. Hopelessly!

  11. cin city says:

Who can take a guy serious when his career starts with a sleezy tabloid network tv show!? He is the mouthpiece of truth? You’re doin a heck of a job Billy!

  12. Badmoodman says:

Bill is channeling Wally George again.

  13. Jane E. Schneider says:

Kindness: Klan hat, dunce cap, they’re the same, and both appropriate!

  14. Dr. Van Nostrand says:

O’Lielly sounds like a bum on the street walking around carrying a bottle of ripple in a paper bag with this stuff. What is he talking about?

  15. JIMBO says:

Hey, O’Lielly, shut up and grab your felafel.

  16. jurassicpork says:

Aaaaaaand… would that be such a bad thing?

In case the threads got scrolled down before you rolled out of bed this morning, I have Mo Do’s latest up. I love her take on the administration but have no use for her critique on womens’ TV shows.

  17. hotfroggy+ says:

ahhh, what a shining example of the perfect “retardican”! my wing-nut inlaws are just like him. …. “if you ain’t white you ain’t shit”.
i don’t think i have ever voted for a retardican (no offense), but if i ever have, god or jah or allah, or anyone! please forgive me, i swear it won’t happen again!!!

  18. Solitaire says:

Sounds good to me! Everybody has a piece of the pie. Power no longer in the hands of a small group of arrogant racist elitists. What’s the problem? Is old Bill still trying to rile up racial hatred? Man, it must be confusing keeping track of all the people you’re supposed to hate if you are a good Bill O’Reilly Christian. All the other, lesser, Christians probably couldn’t keep up.. or else they’re listening to that old-school guy… what was his name.. oh yeah…. JESUS? Bill’s hatred is so much more compelling, don’t you think? Jesus is so five-minutes ago. Totally old fashioned. Why does anyone even bring him up anymore…. Bill’s got the ticket. Hate non-whites, Muslims, gays, youth, Democrats, women, liberals, actors, Arabs, and the French. Nice full round agenda of contempt for everyone not exactly like … Bill O’Reilly!

Which is why he also hatres smart people, good-looking people, people who tell the truth…

  20. Marie says:

Doesn’t he know he is a running joke? Who pays attention to him any more? He has made a fool of himself so often, embarrassed himself, and then lied about it — people are not stupid.

  22. Mark says:

Lets see how the rhetoric goes over the next few months. I have long held to the notion that because of his unique interpretation of the constitution and presidential powers during war time, that Bush will not leave office in 2008. Since he believes that he can set aside portions of the constitution in order to prosecute the war on terror, what is stopping him from setting aside all succession issues in his prosecution of the war? Ditto if the fall elections do not go his way? If he can determines that certain unconstitutional actions are needed in order to prosecute the war on terror, what is to stop him from disbanding congress if he feels that congress will hinder his actions?

The Oriely thing is, to my mind, a setting the table issue. They can sell the fall elections in terms of godless heathens coming to power and should the admin set aside congress they can do so under the guise of protecting the country from terrorism and already have his base solidly behind him because of the rhetoric building to the elections. With this administration I do not think it is so very far fetched.

  23. Wayne A. Schneider says:

I don’t know in which of his books you’ll find it, but I recently heard Mark Crispin Miller say that in researching one of his recent books, he discovered that there really is, let’s call it “an effort”, on the part of extremely religious conservative Christians to take over this country and make it all but indistinguishable from a theocracy. And they want this country to be run according to Biblical law, though which version is unclear.

And Jane is right. This clown has been putting Christians up as being the whipping boys of the secular left without power to defend themselves and their faith. Now it appears that he finally noticed that all forty-two of the men who took the Oath of Office as President were white Christian males. (Grover Cleveland was a white, Christian male president on two non-consecutive occasions.)

  24. Jane E. Schneider says:

I can’t remember the name of the Mark Crispin Miller book, but it’s his most recent–check his website.

  25. Bob Brandon says:

All the best from the Fox White Supremacy News Network. Heil Bill.

  26. O'Really? says:

    Oreilly apparently never read the Statue of Liberty;

    The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, [no more empires]
    With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Seems as if the FAUX NUTWORK is ignorant of American History, that America was not meant to be another Empire for the Greedy War Mongers. Yes That means you Bill.
    Christian? Does not matter.
Your just a Greedy Self-Hating American

  27. Marie says:

I enjoyed an interview on C-Span’s Book TV not long ago. I think the book was Fooled Again.

  28. O'Really? says:

Maybe they should call it Greco Roman Christian Jew Empire instead of the United States of Humanity.

Indeed, FAUX NUTWORK is a Racist America Hating bunch of materialistic wackos cloaking themselves in the name of religion.

    Game Over Wacko Bill.

  29. foxbot says:

Help! Help! The multiculturalists are coming!

  30. DrSinker says:

    Anyone watch the clip?

I find much hard to stomach about O’Reilly, but at a very basic level, his style just strikes me as being (pardon the pun) very bush-league. This whole thing where he basically reads what appears on the screen is unbearable. I mean, is there any other explanation than his followers are idiots and demand to have things spoon-fed to them?

It kind of reminds me of editorials that appeared in the Union Leader (NH’s main paper) by (the late?) Jim Finnegan. Whenever he wanted to make a point, he would put the words in bold. He didn’t shy away from putting entire paragraphs in boldface. It was like having a third-grader write editorials? Anyone else remember this?

  31. Clif says:

It’s official, bill the idiot got another worst person in the world out of this foot in mouth quote…

He has also lied, been caught at the lie, admitted it was a lie, then lied about the same thing again. Just another one of the Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them.

  33. Salmon Dave says:

    Jeez
Do you really think it’s possible………..Rainbow coalition and all….

I’m not defending Bill here but actually you need to check your facts. The US was colonized by white, Christian europeans, many of whom were “too extreme” for one reason or another and came here to escape religious persecution. I would say there was another group in that mix, traders and merchants looking to make money by exploitiing people. This is pretty much the same hierarchy that we have now, the people in power are controlled by big business and the religious right.

Also, you will never marginalize the Christians, the vast majority of people in this country are of that faith in one form or another.

    Comment by Mark #24

    Mark,

If what you suspect is true, this could set the stage for 9much needed) closure on the Civil War. The time is ripe for ridding AmeriKKKa of either its diversity or its- confederate flag loving- inbred right wing Bushite TRAITORS…

…If AmeriKKKa is to become America (the tolerant, enlightened, multicultural, multiracial mecca the world used to see it as) the Bill O’liellies, Scum Vanities, and Pus Limphogs have to be dealt with…

…in South Carolina the conservative republiscum Senate president pro tempore Glenn McConnel is hording taxpayer dollars (including Black Americans’ taxpayer dollars) for a $100 million dollar project…

…to raise the confederate submarine Hunley (sunk during the Civil War), and to build a museum to house it…

let him know that you don’t appreciate his efforts, email him at:

    LPITS@scstatehouse.net

…the TREASONOUS white trash scum of the confederate south are the Bill O’liellyite, al Cracker conservative, right wing, anti-Christian (posing for Christ), inbred Bushites, who make up this sickeningly consistent 30% base that keeps Bushiva in the 30% poll range…

    …you know who they are…

…they’re your (progressives/liberals) family members, your friends, and your neighbors, whom you should shun…

…Progressives must decide what they support…

Perhaps Mark, if what you say is true…

…the time for radical surgery for AmeriKKKa may be nigh!

    …without true justice and accountability…

…and the Lord knows there’s plenty this administration and its supporters have to answer for…

…there can be NO unity or peace…

  36. Parrotlover77 says:

And even if this was true and there was this vast left-wing conspiracy. This is bad because of… why? Multicultural and multiethnic and multireligious representation? My god, man. That’s just horrible! Perish the thought that the rich white “Christian” (using the term loosely) man may have less power. Perish the very thought!!!!

    Yes, ladies and gentleman… Sarcasm.

  37. Parrotlover77 says:

#37 – You are correct that Christians escaped to America for that reason. However, the Founding Fathers, who created our system of law and governing bodies, were by and large not Christian but were actually diests. They were also by and large Freemasons, which as far as religion/philosophy aligns its beliefs very close to Diests.

Yes, much of the populous was Christian, but those that set up the government were religiously neutral (hence why we have ‘freedom of religion’, although many right-wingers would be happy to do away with that).

The USA is not a Christian nation and was not intended to be. Freedom of religion is different from “freedom to choose Christian denomination.”

  38. Ho Chi Minh says:

If there really were such a movement/organisation, where do I sign up?

  39. Thomas says:

Run!!! It’s a band of rainbow flag carrying multiculturalists!!! Be afraid.

  40. Briseadh na Faire says:

“We know carbon dioxide is a plant fertilizer which is a positive benefit to the peoples of the world. ” Competitive Enterprise Institute

So, now we know, every time Bill O’Reilly spouts off, he is exhaling a load of fertilizer!
