[...] If I read them right, the good folks over at Think Progress believe George Bush was deflecting when he said his approval ratings are so bad because Americans are “unsettled” over the war. NBC White House correspondent David Gregory interviewed President Bush this morning on the Today Show and asked him why so many people disapprove of the job he’s doing. Bush brushed aside the public’s concern about his policies and insisted that nearly 70 percent of Americans are simply “unsettled.” (Full Story) [...]

Yes...Yesss....Yessss.....
Your observations are correct and plus;
Remember that they were once innocent children and that we need to have compassion for what those children have become.
Please do not kill your own spirit by hating them, we all need you to help rebuild the Hoop.

Dear Mighty Aphrodite,
The use of the vernacular de-legitimizes your comments. Your slathering of the words commie, pinko, and democraps idicates a temporal problem. You are living in the 50's. I am guessing that you think capitalism is a form of government? Tour lack of education really comes through in your writing and would be better off submitted as a JPEG file in crayola script. I live in California. I am a Democrat. I have many convincing arguments, but from your postings it obvious you would not understand them. I do not fell sorry for you in the slightest. It is normal to feel sympathy for the mentally disabled, but only if it was a product of circumstance not choice. Also, you and your ilk are the single best reason that progressives should remove gun control initiatives from their platform. Hope I meet you on the streets so that we can good old-fasioned intellectual exchange via our fists. Have a great day and invest in education you need it. (forgive the dangling participle)

Unsettled?!!! That's the best excuse that the Decider-In-Chief could come up with for why his poll numbers aren't just in the toilet (they're already flushed and floating around in the septic tank) Holy Crap folks, we are truly being led by a man who without the polish and the packaging by the GOP's very own Rasputin (aka: Karl Rove) shouldn't have been allowed to run a sewage treatment plant in Texas, let alone a state and federal government!! To have given this idiot control over life and death decisions such as war or peace, and carte blanche to raid our Treasury and destroy our environment was the ultimate in group insanity (although I can proudly say that I never voted for Incurious George). But that doesn't alter the fact that a lot of my fellow citizens did. Is it any wonder why most, if not all, of our traditional allies, or as Donald Rumsfeld likes to label them "Old Europe" think of us as a bunch of beer-swilling, NASCAR watching, toothless, inbred rednecks? If a Democrat had been president after 9/11 and had attempted to break ONE law or subvert ONE article of the Constitution or infringe on one of the rights of American citizens, the neo-conservavtive wingnut fringe and the Religious Right zealots would have surrounded the White House with pitchforks and torches in hand just like the old Universal Studios movie "Frankenstein". Yet this moron, who on the advice of a bunch lawyers who make the ones who defend drug dealers and mobsters look like paragons of virtue, feels he has the "unitary executive" authority to break 750 laws passed by Congress! And that number is probably just the ones we are aware of. I guess our Commander-In-Thief said it best, and the American people should have taken him more seriously, when he said that this country would be better if it were a dictatorship as long a HE was the dictator. Unsettled?!!! You gotta hand it to him folks, he has become the undisputed world champion of understatement.

Let's not forget, how much money these "stupid" people have managed to suck from the US public/Treasury. Some may hope he will go back to Texas but if and when he does he will have amassed a huge fortune ( enough to finance brotherJeb should the family and friends choose to take another crack at the trough ). Impeach the lot of them and salvaging democracy from the tentacles of a monolithic fascist,dictatorship is the only responsible, viable option, that may allow some reimbursement to the US public. That's what will really hurt them if they have to give all the public money they have stolen, back to the Treasury. And the prosecution of the companies involved as well, for failure to satisfactorily meet their contracts. If it is good enough for the general public to carry the debt burden of these oafs, it's good enough for the oafs as well.
